After seeing the financial results in detail, not much has changed for us,

Money is there to spend, just hope the club is sensible with there deals and stop over paying for players.

Sancho for starters they should walk away at that price.

To be honest i am absolutely sick of hearing about the Sancho thing, there are other areas that we need to strengthen much more than right wing like two new central midfielders, a centre back and a forward. We have plenty of cover on the right in Greenwood, Amad, Mata etc.

Forget Mata, he needs to be released a d stopping blocking the path of the youngsters who are ready for first team football.

I don't get the Sancho love to be honest, we need to go after a fast paced right winger who can put the ball in the box.

Sancho as a player is clearly talented and he fits what we need in terms of skills on the pitch.

He also fits the club's "ideal" signing criteria, i. e. young (under 25), high profile, British etc.

Which means he is one of the rarer cases of a player that the team needs AND he works well from a branding/ marketing perspective.

That said there needs to be a balance between putting our efforts into signing a player like Sancho and making sure we aren't putting all our eggs in one basket.

I'm 95% confident that we will sign Sancho this summer. My concern is that the sheer cost in terms of money AND time spent sorting the deal will be detrimental to other possible signings.

If someone offered you Sancho and Varane or Raphinha, Varane and Rice which option do you think strengthens us more?

Shappy, tbh I would take Varane, Raphinha and Rice and we get sorted in all positions of need.
