Hey guys! Long time reader, rarely post. Something off topic. A friend of mine, who is a Chelsea supporter, and I were discussing stadium atmospheres. I remember seeing a couple of posts somewhere which called Stamford Bridge "The Library" due to the lack of atmosphere during some games. This was a long time ago. But neither my friends or others have heard of this. Does anyone know or remember Stamford Bridge being called "The Library"? Or am I mistaken? Or is it some other stadium that is called "The Library"?

Old Trafford is even more quiet and lacking in atmosphere sadly.

I was at Old Trafford on the "prawn sandwich" night v Kiev. Very sluggish team performance, think we nicked a 1-1 draw, and the atmosphere was. well, there was none. Ironically, I was there that night on a corporate and was flanked by a Forest fan and a City fan! In fact, I think I was one of only 2 Utd supporters in a group of maybe 10. So Keane was not speaking metaphorically at all when he talked about people only coming to enjoy the prawn sandwiches and expecting to see fantasy football - he was 100% spot on!

Is amazing our away fans are superb best and loudest in the league imo.
At home the fans and stymied us dead in general. Of course there have been occasions when the place is jumping but only after the team perform. Annfield is jumping before a ball is kicked. I much rather going to away games than OT.
