Anyone else think the new kit is looking a bit championship this year?

Can't quite work out why though.

Because it could be Boro's?

I like the away and third kits more than the home.

Happy with the home one, it’s a little plain but I like the retro idea behind it, the sponsor looks better than Chevrolet as well for me. The socks are the best part though, really good.

Anything without that absolutely horrendous Chevrolet logo is a win for me. That gold turd has made every kit we've had look awful.

The Chevrolet logo looked in incredibly tacky. The only thing I enjoyed about the Chevrolet deal was the story about the guy at Chevrolet who negotiated it got the sack just after he arranged the deal.

I might be in the minority but I actually like it.

I like it. Best one in years. Young lad loves it. Asked him if he wanted one, because my views are my views and not fair to impose them on him. Says he'd rather have a retro one, and not from the club. I thought his Glazer out stance would have died out by now after the initial ruckus over the super league, knowing the attention span of teenagers. First top he hasn't had since he was 4. First time I've ever seen him take a stand on anything. Could have been Israel/ Palestine, women's rights, maybe third world poverty. But I suppose it's a start.

I like it but then again I am over 40 so maybe it's an age thing.

I sent it to a few WhatsApp groups this morning and the response was positive from all, don’t think you’re in the minority dannyc, most seem to like it for once 🙌🏼.

Not bought a jersey for 30 years I don't understand anybody buying one personally.
The thought of walking around in drastically overpriced cheap nylon and polyester tat with company logos all over them does not appeal to me.
I couldn't give a hoot what they look like as long as they play well in them.
My lads buy them every season, I'm hoping that their taste in clothing improves as they get older🤣.

I think its a clever ploy by the Glazers.

As part of the fan protest against them it has been suggested that instead of buy the new shirts that you buy retro ones instead.

So the club then decides the new shirts should have a "retro" look to them, thus it doesn't matter if you rock up to Old Trafford in your retro shirt, it'll look just like the ones the tourists are wearing having just bought one from the megastore. Genius.

Huge margins for the manufacturers of these shirts. Not withstanding the supply chain costs and retailer margins they need to pay the material costs are less than 3$ so its like the heat rock and roll swindle.
