Nice one Ed. I wasn’t expecting to see Untied there, so pleasantly surprised.

On a side note, Any chance you could do a top 10 list of players agents based on trophies won by players they represented? - not including international honours. We know the likes of Mino are more focussed on ensuring their players are paid well ( and hence they) rather than what is best for them from a trophies perspective.

{Ed001's Note - I will see if I can, might be difficult to do but I will try.}

I think a lot of people would be surprised to see United in there.

Yet the reality is they finished 2nd in what is supposed to be the toughest league in the world and made a European final (albeit not the one any top side really wants to be in) .

It's a good list and I don't think I could argue with any of the teams that made it onto the list or any that didn't make it. Personally I think the order of the 10 teams might be slightly different.

If you're basing it on potential then Liverpool are probably in the top 2-3 sides, but if you're basing it off of form and performances over the past season then I'd have thought Liverpool would be nearer 6-7th. No real cup runs, and if it wasn't for a real turn around in form over the last 6-8 games of the season along with the collapse of Leicester then they would have finished outside of the top 4.

Going into next season is a whole different ball game though. They seemed to just have everything go against them last season, poor luck with injuries, no luck on the pitch while several players and coaching staff had huge personal distractions off the pitch. That won't happen this season and I'd expect them to be back in the title race. Konate is an excellent signing and makes their defence stronger. Gini will be a bigger miss than most realise but if they can get a top class replacement then they will be right up there come May.

That would be intresting RLF

Almost impossible to make that list right Ed. Even within a season teams will move around on form and togetherness/ spirit. City looked odds on for 4 trophies at one point, but messed it up again at the business end. Chelsea looked awful, but then finished very strong.

Hard to argue with your listing though.

{Ed001's Note - I am 100% certain that if I wrote it 10 times, it would come out different every time, even if nothing actually changed in the time I did it.}

I just want to poi t out that the scousers barely getting CLF courtesy of a great Goalkeeper goal sends them higher up the points board than UTD because they had 3 injured CBs

Remind me again who is at the wheel and assisting him whilst playing 2 cdms

Liverpool needed oles tactics to protect makeshift defence and we needed Klopps tactics of pressing well without 2 cdm.

Reddevilfan, playing 2 CDMs is a sign of weakness from Ole. Instead of concentrating on proper coaching and defensive organization at the back he just put 2 CMs in front of his defense - can you even call that a tactic?
