There's a very interesting interview with Paul Ince over on that United Stand fan channel on YouTube for any interested, some insight into how he was forced out of the club, another player who appears to have had no respect from SAF's side. It does also show how ruthless SAF was in getting people out of the door to promote youth though, someone needed to make room for Nicky Butt. Ince also shares some good insight into the current squad, another who doesn't think Fred is good enough.

Don't need Paul Ince to tell us Fred isn't good enough lol.

Paul Ince has talked so much rubbish over the last few years I would not pay any attention to what he says.

Ince was a fine player but far from a great and looking at how things went after Ince went for both player and club, I'd say Ferguson was right on him.

Sold just before he declined, we need to get back to that ruthlessness.

That's very true, just funny to hear various ex players saying the same, heard Neville, Ferdinand and Keane all say more or less the same in recent weeks. I think even Ben Foster said it in his interview.

Ince is ex Liverpool in my eyes not ex united.
But he can make more of a living on the back of united. Sad little man.
to be fair on this point he is right but then again stevie wonder could see that.
He was one of those that was saying he was not given the chance as a black coach.
He was not given the chance because he was a rubbish coach imo no other reason.

Once a great player but probably the worst of ex Utd players to try management. How many players who left Utd went on to great things not many. I love it when they commentate and are telling far superior managers how to manage.

Bitter much Ken, just posted an interesting perspective, but has to be turned into something totally negative. Hearing what he has to say about his departure sounds like how other players say they were treated. From what he says he had agreed a four year contract in the hopes of seeing his career out at United, but a bid was accepted from Inter Milan, without him being consulted. He left for Italy, United had first option but turned it down, and as he and his family wanted to return to the North West, he took Liverpool up on there offer, hardly makes him a Liverpool man. But then again bias will always win out.

Just because United accepted a bid from Italy for him he did not have to go there it was his choice!

In my opinion he is bitter, same as Paul Parker, so rarely take note of anything the pair say.

He was told to go, then when inter's reps were at his home, he got a call from SAF telling him he'd changed his mind and that he wanted him to stay, at least that's Ince's version of the story. It is disrespectful to do business with a club behind the player's back, especially when that player is close to signing a new deal. It's just a matter of manners.

I'm not bitter about Ince at all. I just see him a a player we sold because we needed to make space for youth.

Yet yo seem to dismiss his six seasons at Old Trafford where he won two leagues, two FA Cups, a League cup and the cup winners cup simply because after a stint in Italy he played for Liverpool for two seasons. He was a player in his prime, just had one of his best seasons in a United shirt and was pushed out to make room for Butt. It's not like us getting rid of Matic so Garner gets some playing time, it's more like getting rid of Bruno or Rashford so Hannibal and Elanga get more time.

I agree with you in respect to his coaching comments though. Nothing to do with the colour of his skin, just never made the cut.

I don't dismiss anything he achieved with united at all LLV. He was a good player and played a part in our rise back to the top.
But I see him as ex Liverpool more than ex united despite him not winning anything much there. It was their badge he was kissing after scoring a late equaliser against us.
Fergie had his number. He was an easy replacable disposable transient employee.
