One week to go of transfer madness and whilst we have made 2 great signings, Iâ€™m not convinced weâ€™re done yet.

I think a GK will leave, Hendo getting C.V. has complicated that but we have 4 so 1 needs to go. I also think we will see more go on loan and Iâ€™m not sure whatâ€™s happening with Jesse or DVDB. I donâ€™t see how Jesshe gets in the team right now, and whilst Ole says he wants to keep him, he may push for a move. As for Donny, I have no idea why he is still here. If he isnâ€™t going to play then we may as well sell him. To spend Â£40M on a player and then never ply him is plain daft.

So 2 great signings but some more work to be done.

If we extend Pogba's deal, sign a dm, with garner a season away from first team, I see no reason to keep Donny.
I would be sad if he left as he never really had a proper go. But no point in ruining a career or wasting 40m which could be spent elsewhere.

Not sure a goalkeeper will be moved on now, Grant may miss out on being named in the 25-man squad though.
Jesse ideally would want to stay, but he has to realise that at this stage of his career he needs to be playing week in week out, at the least he needs to go out on loan again if we can't sell him.
DvB's problem is that he is understudy to the two best players in the club. His role this year will be to provide cover for Bruno as we don't want him burnt out again like last year. The issue last year was Ole overplayed Bruno and didn't rotate with Donny, that needs to change this year. If DvB doesn't like that role then he needs to push for a move.

Ole canâ€™t come out and say lingard is not part of his plans as that drives his price down.

I think DVDB will play more this year heâ€™s put in some serious work to bulk up and climatise to the premier league and I donâ€™t think itâ€™s gone unnoticed.

I think weâ€™re done. The Trippier deal has gone quiet and the noise from Ole is that Pogba is still wanted. Maybe just talk but perhaps an indicator Utd are still spending their energy trying to convince him to sign rather than finding a new club for him. Guess it only takes a cheeky bid from someone next week to change all that. Quite like Bissouma from what Iâ€™ve seen, proof that there are lower-key players of top quality if you look past all the usual suspects.

Romano has said all summer pogba not going this summer. we might sign 1 more but I wouldn't be surprised to see us go with what we have.

Whilst all options are on the table including no more signings the ideal scenario would be to bring in the HM we want this summer. If we can do this and all work out we would go into next season with only the CF and Pogba situations to resolve.
Either of these could go away if Pogba signed and Greenwood kicked on this year.
My concern is we do not resolve the HM role and neither of these, leaving us needing a large outlay next year.

I love the way Maguire can bring the ball out of defence and find a ball to a forward player. Let's play him at DCM and Lindelof and Varane behind him. His speed of a tug boat turning would not be an issue and he is defensive minded so won't run around like the headless chicken Fred. Play Pogba in front with Fernandes and then a fluid front 3 of Sancho, Greenwood (Cavani) and Rashford.
