Who has been your favourite manager since Fergie retired, Moyes, LVG, Jose or Ole?

LvG won the FA Cup. Jose won 3 trophies, even Moyes won the Community Shield. What has Ole won? Jose was and remains my favorite amongst them all.

People have short memories. The football under LVG was truly truly sleep inducing and yes he won the FA Cup but my God it was hard to watch.

With Jose there was just too much noise all the time, the Europa was epic but as he always does, Jose started sulking when he didn’t get his own way. He was also ultra defensive and set up not to lose, never a United Manager in a million years.

And then there is Ole, runners up, lots of semis, a final, but no trophy and the obsession with McFred. I think overall we look better, we score more, but we remain inconsistent and just don’t turn up sometimes.

Ultimately Ole is tactically limited and I wonder how inspiring he is. If we do win something is it because of Ole or despite him? His subs at the weekend were the right ones but then the original line up felt wrong. We need to see some decisive focused leadership with the accent on making other teams worry about us.

So Moyes winning the community shield off the back of Fergy's last title means more to you that 2nd in Epl and UEFA cup runners up? Even though his spell was a disaster? I'm speechless.

Neither did you ask the original question GDS2. But i will still give you my reasoning behind it. A couple days ago someone had asked what you enjoyed most and my first point was trophies. So going by that, its Jose. Unlike some, i am consistent with my thoughts.


Anyone but Olewally for me now Dodgy. Said it when he was made permanent that he will never be a United manager in my eyes and i stand by it. So it doesn't matter to me if you are left speechless. To win a community shield a team has to win either the league or the FA cup none of which is possible with Olewally. We would need to hire a manager to win us one of those trophies then get Olewally in for community shield and even the Olewally would screw it.
