Not sure where to start after watching that game. Sure a 4-1 win looks fantastic but they could play so much better.

I was screaming at the telly during, the first half and my wife, who knows very little about soccer, asked what could they do differently when the other team parks the bus. I told her they had to move the ball quicker, they were slow and allowed Newcastle to all get back on defense.

Then low and behold the second goal included three quick first touch passes and then Shaw busting his arse up the field to slip in CR7.

Then let's talk subs. They have a game on Tuesday and we should have rested a few stars once up 3-1. Why did we wait till the 82nd minute to sub?

I like the result but they can do much better.

We just won 4-1,cr7 returned and bagged a brace. Yet still the negativety.

Was anyone in this site back in the fregie days? Was it still a den of negativity back then?

Perfect game for me, we looked imperious and confident throughout. Utd swagger returned. Ronny was great, but the whole team were visibly lifted by him and the atmosphere.

Sancho had a few nice touches and looked like the player we expected is in there waiting to go.

The break away goal was awesome, but most of the first half NC were sitting in their area. Obviously once NC opened up a bit we had more space to play.

This season is going to be a joy to watch.

We should have rested players at 3-1, why did we wait until 82 minutes? We went 3-1 up at 80 minutes, when did you want the subs to be made, 81?

Thought we were a bit slow with the passing in the first half but it’s all about being patient and trusting that you will score, which we did and that opened up the game and allowed us to go and win by a few. Good performance with more to come.

Brilliant result, thrilling match but there is no such thing as the perfect game.
CR7 didn't become the best in the world by not going back and critically reviewing every aspect of his game, lots of areas where we can improve. let's hope his attitude rubs off on the rest of the squad. Its clear already that Ronaldo is going to be the difference this year for United.
