I saw a post earlier where someone was of the opinion that we are 6th favourite to win the champions league. With Ole in charge we ain't favourites to win anything. I just hope that Ole doesn't use the excuse of we should have had a penalty. That was never a penalty. What cost us the game is your lack of managerial skills. We should have never tried to defend that one goal lead. This loss is squarely on Ole's shoulder with his p. poor tactics and wrong substitutions.

Sums the manager up really. Just as negative as Jose with boring football that rivals LvG.

All he had to do was take off Donny and drop Bruno deeper. You're combatant in midfield, the back 4 stays the same, you have your outball on the wings and support for Ronaldo.

He took off two midfielders and brought on two defenders and decided to hoof the ball up for a 36 year old forward to chase. The game plan was to hang onto a 1-0 lead with an hour of football left.

We deserved to lose today and it's entirely the managers fault.

I'm amazed Ole has kids. He seems like the type of man to wear 3 condoms at once.

Mumbles your last line is something I've thought about but never posted.
He manages like he's a defender.

Agree although in my opinion Fred should be the one to come of with matic coming in. Thus allowing Pogba and Donny to push up. If that doesn't work then you try something different. But unfortunately Ole doesn't have a clue as he's totally and utterly inept tactically. Next time he should use his man management and bringing a positive atmosphere into the dressing room skills to see if that would help him.

Leaving Fred on the pitch cost us again in the champions League he's always r weak link can't pass can't tackle can't go forward can't defend, I fell for dvb watching that rubbish play in front of u every week.

If you just have no expectation going into every game, you can never be disappointed.

It's only a matter of time before he will be gone.

Il try to be honest I couldn't stand jose as our manager I thought it was boring defensive football by a coach a bit outdated .
I can get away with ole I prefer his signings and all round attitude .
I can't though dig out jose as boring and defensive but then say tonight was not .
If we had held out another minute ole may say the ends justified the means, but we didn't and we lost, we deserved to lose and going down to ten men wasn't the fault of the Swiss, our player done it and deserved his red card .
Ole didn't ask him to be sent off, nor did he ask Jesse to make that backpass, but what on earth was our plan other than defend like its the alamo .
I'm aware we have injuries, we had a man sent off, some of these players played at various points during the game but what would the odds you'd get in a champions league game that wasn't a dead rubber and we were not winning at the time that there would be a time in the game none of ronaldo, cavani, greenwood, rashford, sancho, mata, amad or bruno were on the pitch .
Man down or not they dominated and deserved to win .

How can a Utd team with so much talent look so bad. Terrible individual mistakes, negative, cowardly tactics, bizarre substations yet another atrocious performance that wouldn’t look out of place in an amateur league never mind the Champions League.

Many argued the negativity after the Southampton game was over the top, an underserved 1-0 victory over Wolves silenced the critics, Ronaldo lifted the mood and gave us hope yet not even the GOAT can prevent these catastrophic performances. Truth is they’ll keep happening unless we develop a coherent style of play and stop relying on individual moments to win us games.

Mumbles absolutely hit the nail on the head. Trying to hang onto a 1-0 lead whilst booting the ball forward for a 36 year old to chase with absolutely no support.

Maybe I’ve forgotten the dark days over the past few years but that second half performance was as bad as I remember and with the players we have it’s simply not good enough.

And to add to that DLIB, it clearly wasn't working but he kept doubling down and adding more and more defensive players.

His in game management is so poor and hasn't improved one iota since he took over.

It was poor. Quite simply embarrassing. OGS should have played his strongest 11 tonight, with the aim to make sure the 1st 4 games will be and CL qualification completed.

Whilst the team on paper should have comfortably beaten Young Boys, the passion, desire and determination shown tonight by Young Boys shows what is lacking in the Utd squad.

Teams more often than not excel when Utd play 4231. They play a high pressing style of football, which pins Utd back. Players panic etc.

I feel as though i post the same thing throughout each season. We sign players and hail it as progression, when we actually regress.

Blind loyalty has been shown to under performing players. OgS talks about how the team doesn't alway perform to his expectations. Does he command the respect of the squad? Simply the answer is No. He reminds me of the kid at School who sucked up to the Teachers, he will do the same at Utd.
