Does Ole get the sack this time if he doesn't win the Europa League this season too, assuming individual brilliance of players get us to the final ofcourse? ???.

I think its too early this season to be talking about sacking ole to be honest.
OK the result and performance was very bad on tue but its no shock to anyone.
I expect we will win both games against West ham coming up.
Nothing has changed from last season yet in terms of the usual chaotic defensive and negative approach when under the cosh.
I think Ronaldo signing has thrown a spanner in the works and means we will need to change that approach in order to get the most from him particularly in Europe. The type of hang on football ole persists with and fails with is not going to bare fruit.

I can see us winning one and losing one against WH, beating Villa, drawing against Villareal (whom we have never beaten) and squeezing a cheeky win past Everton.
Unless Ole completely loses the dressing room, like Jose did, I cannot see any decision being made until the season is over and they can assess what has been achieved.

I wrote after the City semi final defeat last year when Ole said "we lost 2-0 last season and lost 1-0 this year so that's an improvement" when Bruno said it wasn't acceptable at all to be losing semi finals. What happens when your players are more ambitious than the manager?

Ole has always just tried to keep his head above water. He'd take top 4 for the next decade if it kept him in a job. But now with the arrival of Ronaldo and maybe Varane, trophies aren't just for ego, they're essential. Maybe Ronaldos latest gift will be raising the bar too high for the manager to reach.

It is too early to talk about sacking him but the wheels on the bus aren't always secure under Ole. A few bad results and he could be in trouble. The retreat against Young Boys was pathetic but it's nothing new.

I'm not too bothered, just believe United are now so obsessed with creating media stories positive or negative to stay in the limelight. this pattern has gone on for too long. We will pick up again regain the positivity and then randomly lose it.

I think ole won't win the europa conference league let alone europa league.
He will go the final and lose to roma or bodo/ glimt.
