Is Sancho destined to be the next Donny?

We can only go on what we see and limited time Sancho played for England he not set the world on fire and the games he played for us, he done nothing at all, not even been a glimpse of anything special, so he really concerns me and I did not see many rivals knocking the door down to get him, it was just very good PR from Dortmund letting odd story slip out that this and that club wanted him, they are very good at that.
DVB is just not cut out for Premier league football, he gets brushed aside pretty easily, and this is supposed to be the beefed up version of DVB according to Ole in pre season
Maybe they both have hidden talents they are keeping under wraps and hiding from Ole and waiting to show the next Manager…let’s live in hope or what do we have?

I think people have the wrong view on the type of player they think Jadon Sancho is.

He isn't a dynamic flying winger, he isn't like Rashford.

He's a give and go, work in tight spaces technical dribbler.

In that sense he's the perfect player we need when teams sit deep. The issue he is having currently is the way he plays is all based on having an understanding with his teammates, they need to know when to make themselves available to him and where, as well as where to play it back to him. At the moment he hasn't built up that understanding with his teammates either at United or with England.

That's the reason I feel he will suddenly explode onto the scene with us sometime between December and February and then have a strong end to the season.

His late arrival back for pre-season has made settling in a little harder for him. But that's football.

Jesus Shappy you can now even define down to which month a player is going to explode onto the scene, you are a wasted talent, Does Mr Woodward know of your powers?

Hes an overpriced Di Maria/ Depay waste of your money i feel and not the player you needed at all.

I did say between December and February so I've really given a three month period.

I think he will take a couple of months playing and training with his new teammates before things start to click. I then expect to see him have a penny drop moment in a game and then go on a run of good form.

It's just the type of player he is requires him to work well with his teammates, to play off them and to build relationships with them on the pitch.

He has a huge amount of talent and plays with intelligence. Only a matter of time until he starts to find his feet.

I hope your right Shappy, but I don’t honestly see it.
Maybe he playing him on the left because already a terrible weak link on right with AWB
But I’m not so sure it might be a step too far for Sancho at this moment in his career by a good 5 years! Not a matter of months.

Too early for any verdict on Sancho. He is obviously a great talent in the final third. Jones, I think it is unfair to compare to him to Di Maria or Memphis. Di Maria had a major clash with LVG and never settled in Manchester, getting robbed didn't help. Memphis arrived too young and immature.

Sancho can dribble and find the final pass. That should show in time. One concern of mine is his effort defensively. Hasn't shown much energy to high press so far.

I sometimes feel that Raphinha would of been a better fit, but hopefully Sancho finds his feet soon and shows us what he can do.

To get the best out of sancho we need to play fast football, pass the ball into space and infront of him

We play to slow and stale for him to flourish, untill we start playing with more adventure and more balls players like sanxho will struggle

Although i think he beeds time to settle more and he's still gettung use to the prem he will become a very good player.

Problem is Bolger at 80 million it’s no good hoping he becomes a very good player, if your waiting about you need to become a great player, you need to be showing signs of very good player now!
Blubbery on the bench when he was subbed few games ago, hardly fills me with confidence.
Same as the reports of him turning up late for training whilst at dortmund because he could not get his own way, and further reports of him not turning up at all when he did not make the starting 11.
They are not the traits of a great I’m afraid!
