As has been said tonights win papers over the cracks. Villareal should have been out of sight before we scored.

Dalot has talent but if he is not bothered to do the basics properly like busting a gut to track back and stop an attack then we have to let him go. Time and time again he let his man run past him.

More importantly though is the deficiency in midfield which still needs addressing. We don't have a top midfielder who dictates play. Pogba and Bruno can be very creative at times but they never dominate the midfield area and until we get the right person in that position we will never be realistic contenders for the premiership or champions league.

Salford7, the players are least of the problem right now.

It's the performances we have to worry about even with all the talent we have in the squad.

We need a better manager and coaching staff to take us forward.

Should put an end for everyone’s calls for dalot to start ahead of AWB now. For all his faults, wan bissaka is a brilliant defender 1v1.

I'm sure it's been said but we're like an orchestra without a conductor. or at least one that can direct properly. We have class players in certain positions yet we see the same dross more often now. now I'm not sure change will come as players like cavani, ronny, bruno etc will paper over the cracks.

Caolan… I agree Dalot not the answer, not a great defender by any means, but don’t slow up the play like AWB does with extra touches, stop start play, we certainly need a Right Back without doubt because we not got a decent one.

Don’t give me all the sliding tackles stuff, they are because he is so often out of position and day dreaming, his 1st touch is not great his crossing is awful more then not, if you want to play AWB the system as to change and he not be allowed to go beyond half way line, IMO he not a top 4 side player.
