Another woeful var decision in the liv Watford match. How on earth is Salah not part of play? Cathcart has to play to ball to stop it getting to Salah who was offside and crossed to. What a joke of decision. These new rules are ruining football.

{Ed014's Note - don’t do it to yourself, guess you thought the next goal of his was rubbish too!

That may be but the result was not in any doubt. And it's not like there weren't more errors prior to VAR.

More concerning to me is how well Liverpool function as a team with a plan and the players to execute it. Okay, so Danny Rose was atrocious, but Salah's ball to Mane was brilliant. The second goal was also very nicely executed. It could well have been worse Watford at the 45. I didn't watch the second half.

If only United could play with that pace and accuracy, along with the superbly executed pressing.

I only flicked the game on for 5 mins, so that was all I saw. Not at all a gripe about the performance, or whether it affected the game.

This decision that a cross to an offside player is not offside until the ball gets to them is just horrible. What are defenders supposed to do? They can't leave the ball and just hope the flag goes up. It is just plain wrong, a player can be "active" without ultimately touching the ball.

Sounds like Liv played well then? Not easy to do straight after international break, so fair play to them.

The rule is trash but it was correctly applied for that goal. Common sense shows that the player only goes for that ball as Salah (who was offside) is behind him.

But that's the law makers for you and nothing to do with VAR as they were ultimately correct by the rule book.
