Just go and get Simone!

No, you want us to park the bus every game?

He'll set up the team perfectly every time and no player will set foot on the pitch and not give 100%. I love how passionate he is, something we've not seen in moyes lvg, mourinho, or Solskjaer. He will definitely whip the crowd into a frenzy.
Though, I do like Ten Haag as he's a purest.

Long said on here that Simeone would be my first choice. However, can’t see him leaving mid season. Should have been dealt with after the Europa final debacle. Our club cannot seem to see anything clearly. Now it’s talked about that Ole must win the next two games, yet the idiots in the board can’t see that it won’t solve anything, the same issue with the useless Norwegian will remain.

Simeone is also the manager who has broken the monopoly of the big two, like SAF did in Aberdeen.

United will limp on, because they are sentimental, if they do make a decision they would then go for the wrong manager. I don’t think Zidane is right but seriously fear Southgate.

The next two games shouldn’t affirm the manager, it is already obviously a problem, deal with it.

Southgate would be a fool to take the role. He’s the right man in the right job at the right time and has a World Cup to get England prepared for. Oh and I really don’t want him as our manager!

Think we may see the clamour for Rogers gaining momentum soon, although Conte is the obvious choice to turn the ship around short term.

i honestly think the next manager might be Steve Bruce.

How can anyone look at the Simeone theatrics every game. It's ridiculous. A bit of passion, yes but that performance all the time. I don't know how an opposing coaching staff hasn't clocked him.

{Ed001's Note - isn't he also the highest paid coach in world football? And why do people think he broke the dominance of 'the big 2' in Spain? Historically Atleti are every bit as big as Barca, who only became what they are due to Cruyff as manager. Before then they were also rans.}

He's a top coach Ed, I think he's there 10 years now with success too. That's incredible in Spain. I just find him annoying on the touchline.
And his hair is suspiciously black for a man his age?.

{Ed001's Note - he is just a bigger cheat than the others.}

Red Man, you do lose creditability when you come on here spouting off about "being entertained" and "good style of play" then say you'd like to see Simeone replace Ole.

I talk more about winning Shappy, unlike you, that is the number one most important thing. When you bang on about entertainment, yes it is good to have but winning is the aim.

You also talk of sentimentality as if it were the worst thing in the world. Then liken Simeone to Sir Alex, trying to pluck on the heart strings.

I find it odd that you constantly talk about being entertained, of the side playing good football etc.

Yet you enjoyed Jose's park the bus style, and you'd have Simeone and Conte high on your list as "ideal" managers.

It's clear that it has nothing to do with style of football, but a certain mentality you like to see from a manager. Angry, aggressive, in your face rodeo clowns jumping up and down on the touchline.

You don't want beautiful football, you want fighters.

All of which is fine, but you can't stand there and say your biggest problem with Ole is the style of play, when you favour managers who play the most extreme anti-football styles of play. You end up looking foolish when you do.

Is winning the most important thing? If so should all the teams that rarely win just pack it all in then?

If your club has never won a trophy then it should be shut down as it has nothing of value apparently.

The aim is to win, but it isn't the only aspect that makes playing football worthwhile.

Shappy

Again you get all muddled up but I knew you would

I haven’t said my biggest problem with Ole is style or entertainment, my biggest problem is that Ole doesn’t have a winning pattern, doesn’t know what he is doing because he has no credentials and is unlikely to win the big prizes. It was you who blasted Mourinho for the entertainment or lack of it and it is you who values entertainment over winning. My club is United who should be aiming to win trophies.

My point on entertainment was that you blasted Mourinho for the lack of entertainment, yet were quite happy to accept the utter dross from Ole. Double standards.

I favour winning managers, fighters yes, and don’t tell me SAF was not one. Win first entertainment if possible. Pluck on heart strings, no, that is you with your support of the sentimental choice, 2.5 years of your posts doing that. Simeone and Conte are hard winners, it’s what is needed.

{Ed0666's Note - conte is probably the stand out fans choice but he brings a lot of drama and would probably end in tears.
