Writing is clearly on the wall.
The board will continue with Ole.
Great watching post match analysis by Keane. He shows more heart being a pundit than that lot of misfits. Top to bottom. Shocking team. We are a top 10 team. We are where Liverpool were before Rodgers. We are shocking, shambolic and rubbish.

Can't see who will take over at the end of the season, genuinely.

Everyone says Rodgers/ Zidane/ Conte/ Poch not good enough etc (me included about Zidane) . They are all much better than Ole. We need something different. Anything is better. Even just to freshen up the dressing room.

Thing about Keane and Neville is that they’ll criticise the players but not the manager. Yes, the players are playing like dog rubbish, but Ole is the guy who has spent more money than any other manager putting this team together and the buck stops with him.

micah richards was more honest and articulate and he’s an ex city player and fan.

Ole will still be here next season.

Give Keane the job too the end of the season. Wouldn’t bother me how the season finished now but would love to see some fireworks within that squad.

Ole may not be the best choice but these players are doing nothing to help him. Maguire is the worst captain this club has ever had and that is something Ole deserves a lot of criticism for allowing him to have it.

It’s a sad state of affairs where I wouldn’t be bothered if every single player was sold. There all a disgrace. You can hide behind a shocking manager and play the blame game all you like. They don’t know how privileged they are to be in the position to play for this magnificent club. No passion no heart.

All of you criticizing the players should listen to Scholes.

Totally disagree United Addict
The players can blame the tactics the coaches whoever they like but to show absolutely no desire no passion is unforgivable in my eyes.

Keane made a key point, if the experienced players look at the manager and coaches and think they don’t know what they are doing it’s trouble, how can they not look at them that way?

That's because their tired of the ineptitude being preached/ coached to them as the United Way.

Keane, in an indirect way, did say that Ole probably needs to go. I can’t believe Ole was saying in the pre match press conference United are the best in Manchester. I’m amazed. No I’m actually gobsmacked.

Micah was great today as a pundit.

Can’t believe Gary Neville thinks that just because a “big manager” signing such as LVG and JM failed, that United should continue with Ole. What does that even mean. He’s had 3 years.

Daniel Levy doesn’t hang around in making decisions. Nor does Roman At Chelsea. Fired Lampard, irrespective of his legacy at Chelsea. Few months later they’ve won the CL and this season look like they’re in the mix for the PL.

But it’s ok, give my mate another 8 months so that he can suck the soul out of some of the best Talent in the PL and make them look like Welbeck.

GTFO.

Blackpool Red,

The way the team was setup to sit back, absorb pressure and hit on the counter I felt the players did what they could, at least they did what was done in training I guess.

Even the times we tried to press they managed to counter our press with ease.

The players could have all the passion and desire but without proper training, system and a plan to counter what's coming it's no use.

City just like Liverpool outplayed us in every aspect and the players just couldn't cope with that.

Even when City were playing at a walking pace I saw no instructions from the dugout to press them. It was all too easy for them.

When the players stop doing it, you know they are not playing for the manager. Get him out or risk losing more.

Richards is fast becoming my favourite pundit,

Ole is responsible for this mess but seeing players not putting the effort in when they are earning millions is sickening. OK, they may be wondering about tactics and formation but running a lot, being energetic, showing desire have nothing to do with the Manager. Shameful.

Just interested in how you can compare and usually compare to Liverpool pre Rodgers? Just how exactly? Cause GH won a cup treble and others. RB won the CL and other trophies won. No league correct. But wow to compare to CL winners. Bemused.

AJH, "running a lot, being energetic, showing desire have nothing to do with the Manager", really?

So, what has Ole done to rectify that? I didn't see Ole or his assistants on the sidelines shouting at the players to do so.

It's probably because Ole has instructed his players to sit back and protect and keep the pressing to a minimal. Ole's safety first approach.

GT probably not specific enough from me.
What I was alluding to was the time when Liverpool were changing managers periodically along with finishing outside the top 4. You know that period of time when the direction Liverpool were taking wasn’t clear, that period.

It’s the same for United right now. Except for we are spending a lot of money compared to Liverpool and have got no idea how to play these players as a team.
