Two worlds apart. The technical assessment by Pep and the we need to be up and at them comments from Ole. Pep is a world class coach who explained how he correctly assessed how we would play and used left and right footed players on their correct side to stay wide and push us back into a back 5. Ole talked about fight backs against Watford. Ole was talking as a underdog, refined from spells as an underdog at Molde and Cardiff.

Two worlds apart. City and Liverpool fans are singing for Ole, desperate for him to stay, five more years they sang. Meanwhile our fans still have tear in their eye about Ole the player. Those fans also include the decision makers in the club too.

I see Shappy saying the players still play for Ole, I don't see that. I see players who are now seeing Ole and coaches for what they are and as Keane said yesterday that spells big trouble. Our players look devoid of confidence, lack faith in whatever instructions they have been given. It's hard for any manager to recover from that. Ole cannot no matter how much they try to paper over the cracks. For the good of the club this episode needs to end now.

They don't play for Ole, look at their distances covered and the amount of sprints they make, they don't work hard or play for the coach. It's done.

He’s a less effective Ted Lasso with a worse coaching team.

Red Man - When you see Bruno failing to stop a cross, 5 minutes into a derby at Old Trafford in front of the Stretford End, on the back of a mauling from Liverpool it’s over! This is a player many want as our captain. We can debate the right and wrong but that is a player not believing in the plan and playing for the manager.

Bounce back, but didn’t he say that after Aston Villa, Everton, Leicester and Liverpool.

I don’t blame any of the players. They are a leaderless bunch of individuals sent out with incoherent instructions none of them believe in. Ole selects injured players, he persists with players badly out of form, he selects his favourites, he makes false promises, it’s over!

You have been saying the same thing for a long time about people thinking about Ole the player, it’s just not true, most fans want him out now because he’s proved not to be good enough.

GDS2 - I think there’s some truth in that mate. I think a lot of fans had their reservations but wanted to see what he could do when he got the players he wanted. The reality facing everyone now is he’s clearly not good enough and probably even worse than we all feared.

Some might call that naive yet ironically the Club have actually financially backed our least experienced manager since SAF retired. Whether this summer signings had anything to do with the failed super league fiasco and consequent protests is open to debate but the fact remains that when Jose finished second he wasn’t backed by the Club and Ole was. He can have no excuses.

The lack of fight in the team says to me they aren't playing for the manager. Even Brighton managed to get two goals back against Liverpool, but this side seems to give up too easily. It just seems a matter of time before a change is made.

Your right redman. Some are too dense to see it and have been for some time is emotional decision making and support has been from the start. He was never good enough non biased people could see that from the off. I eolle not blinded by emotion bias and those that coils look objectively were right all along. Those looking through red tinted glasses full of their parochial claptrap and bias are now seeing the incompetence that's been there since the outset.
Booed off the pitch twice by some of our home fans well at least by the ones with any moral fibre in them.

Pep has no out and out striker. Ole let's play 3 at the back. A master technician.

True leahy.

Second half, if we don’t press them maybe they’ll take pity and not try to score a third.

If we disagree we are dense, got it. Ken, you can’t half be rude to people, such a hypocrit.

Red Man, for the most part the players I think are still supporting the manager. Or at least they aren't publicly damning him like they did in the final days of Jose.

I don't expect to see many celebratory tweets or Instagram posts when Ole goes like we did when Jose lost his job.

Whether they think he is the man to lead them? Who knows, I doubt it. But they don't seem to be actively trying to get him sacked.

From my perspective they look like a bunch of players who are devoid of confidence and have no idea how to get back to winning ways.
