The position is untenable and now all the issues are starting to come out. Bruno not the only one of a number of senior players who feel they are not getting enough direction from Ole. Ronaldo not just surprised but "alarmed and shocked" at the drop in standards since he was last here. Players feel DvB treated very poorly by Ole. They also feel the coaching team is overgrown and too many coaches are learning on the job. They are saying Ole exercises favouritism, is too soft, Lingard frozen out for no reason, Sancho is stagnating and they don't understand why, players play despite horrific loss of form. To top it off Rashford had flu for 2 days, couldn't train yet was deemed by Ole as a better sub option than Lingard or Martial and the players watched him fail miserably in disbelief at Oles decision.

Read that again and I ask why is Woodward not dealing with this.

if rumours of rangnick are true the board if they want the club and care about the club getting back to winning things they need to boot this fraud out and get rangnick in till the summer.

rumours he then wants a dof position which is a no brainer, someone actually in a position that is suited to the job, then go for who we want in the summer.

sorting the mess above the manager is a start.

if you didn’t laugh you’d cry…. how can the board possibly think this situation is salvageable? it’s at exactly the same point as jose yet they still want to give him more time? why because he smiles a lot and kisses their backsides?! shambles.

I'm still in shock why the club is not reacting.
If they can't be arsed, I'm planning to cancel my MUTV subscription next month.

Our team clearly needs a new manager and a direction.
The decision makers are making a fool of us.

If, as the media suggests, Fernandes has publicly aired his concerns about the manager and his coaching staff, he ie Fernandes should be shown the road. Who needs an enemy within? Everything was rosy last season when Fernandes was knocking them in. This season, his contribution has been average to say the least. I stated recently that he passes too much to the opposition and I stand by that. I am not a huge fan of OGS at all but this underhand snide behaviour is totally unacceptable. He needs to accept responsibility and show leadership, not hide behind others' failings to mask his own poor form.

I've still got my subscription. I don't know why. I hardly watch it nowadays. It's run like Pravda. the phone in shows where you could have an opinion and demonstrate your disapproval have disappeared. I pay more for it than I do for Amazon prime. some of the shows on there are worth watching. MUTV features a lot of matches from years ago when Utd were a good watch. I don't want to watch Utd getting pasted every week. I'm not really bothered about watching them serve up the usual dogs dinner. I'm doing what the board should be doing with Ole and sacking MUTV.

Jodler by your logic we need to ship everyone but DDG out of the club as none of them are in good form. Keep Ole though?

Stupid post from Jodler. So basically if anybody has a completely inept line manager they are not allowed to voice their opinion. How do you know he hasn't already spoken to his captain, Woodward and/ or a Glazer. Not saying he has sone any of these - especially a Glazer, however every player is also human, and there comes a point where saying nothing is doing more harm than good to the individual and the organisation they work for.

Jodler.
I think the players are right on this oscillator occasion to speak out.
Bruno is far from perfect none of us are. But he is going to work everyday. He is not inspired by his bosses. He is not motivated. He sees his colleagues being treated unfairly.
Its not like Bruno is alone lots of players are speaking up.
He cannot and should not stand idly by He needs to speak up.
If that's costs him his place and the board back the manager that's fair enough but Bruno can put his head on his pillow knowing he had said the right things.
Ole is damaging this club has been since the day he took over.
He is not up to the job and its up to the players to ensure that the board know and see what is going on.
Id want Bruno as a team mate. He looks out for his peers and as I said should not stand by while he and his work colleagues are being managed so poorly.

Jodler, what are you on about Bruno being "average" this season? He has 4 goals and 7 assists in 15 games for United. 11 goal contributions in 15 games for a side that is horribly out of form. How on earth is that average? Salah is the only player in the EPL who has more goal contributions for his side this season. With talk of Salah being the most in form and possibly the best player in the world at this moment in time.

By very definition alone that would make every other player in the EPL below average.

Fernandes has been good, very good for the most part. But unfortunately he has been playing in a team that is playing very poorly and he cannot paper over the cracks.

He has always publicly been very supportive of the manager, so if he has spoken out then surely something has changed.

The club is in a deep funk right now, and I don't think Ole or his coaches know how to pull us out of it. The media smell blood in the water and are going for Ole now. He will struggle to see out many more games in charge. I suspect the international break has come at just the right time for him. Take the heat off for a couple of weeks, plus a kind looking fixture afterwards.

On the flip side while players are away with their national teams it becomes much harder for the club to keep a lid on things. Players talk to international teammates and conversations get overheard or leaked to the press.

The Watford game is a must win, lose or draw that and the pressure will be immense for the Villarreal game which is quickly followed by an away game against the top of the league Chelsea.

Anything less than 3 wins might not be enough to keep Ole in his job for Christmas.

How do you titillate an ocelot?

You oscillate its titalot.

Keep smiling! It's only football.

Red man, I don't think it's Woodwards job to be honest. I think we are all confused as to who is responsible for what. But from what ed002 has said previously, this isn't Woodwards remit.

The players are meant to be professional. They are supposed to put their best foot forward in EVERY game. They have not been doing that. Is it OGS' fault? To an extent. I acknowledge that OGS lacks the qualities to be a top manager but Keane is right when he says that the players will throw him under a bus. Do you think that if/ when a top manager takes over, he will want to rely on this group of players? I think not. Recruitment over this last number of years has been poor. Many of the players are bang average with limited ability and character. How does a player show his quality? He does it when he needs to - ie in every game. Fernandes has ability but was conspicuous in his anonymity against the very best - Liverpool and Man City. Would Sir Alex have tolerated open criticism from players? I think you know the answer to that.

Jodier, all players should try thei best, of course
But, they also have the right to voice their concerns when things are not right. Burying their head in the sand is worse than saying nothing. The problem isn't going away. People voicing their concerns mean that they ACTUALLY care. We need more Brunos and more Ronaldos in the team. And our captain Maguire should be the first to voice his concern, but he doesn't, and that's why he's the worst captain we've had for years.

Jodler if it was your career being wasted away due to incompetence would you sit idly by and say nothing for the sake of being professional just to save face. The players are within their right to speak out if they believe that they're not being managed/ coached properly. It's not like this is a first time occurance. The players don't owe Ole a damn thing.
