I agree with those that believe we just don't have enough quality players. The top three teams are miles ahead of our squad in regards to quality players. If we were to try to sell some of our players I think only the teams on the botton half of the standings would be interested.

Not sure what has happened to Bruno, but he was brutal yesterday. I still cringe when Fred is on the ball knowing many passes will go to the other team.

I like McTom but he just isn't what I would call Man U quality. He does put in a full shift though.

If I were the manager I would put many players on the market in Jan to see what offers would come. I would also give some of the youngsters a run in prem games, let's see just what we have.

We are short on quality, but in my opinion the winter window is that the time to make wholesale changes. Just tweaks - maybe one in, one out. Also it was good to see lots of youths get a chance in the final CL game, but Utd had already won the group. There is a time and place to play them and desperately scrapping for fourth isn't it.

We have plenty of quality in the squad, the thing the top 2 (liverpool and City) have over us is their top quality managers have been there over 5 years each to develop a system where those quality players can thrive.

Rangnicks job over the next 6 months is to lay a foundation for a top quality manager to come in and build with the quality we have plus a few targeted additions like a central midfielder.

There is no need for an overhaul of this squad, this is not like post moyes/ lvg/ mourinho.

DSG I'm not sure I share your views on the squad personally I think we need 3 of a back 4 and at least 2 cms and we only have ronaldo for 1 more season after this and will need replacing so for me the first eleven needs at least 5 players to compete with the better sides in the league which is half a team.
