United lose to themselves again.

It really doesn't have anything to do with talent. there was plenty raw talent and chances out there today to have won the game comfortably.

I have long maintained that our problems stem in good part from a psychological blockage. The result is an experience akin to watching someone banging their head against a wall. How does that change?

Did Ronaldo have a clause built into his contract that he has to play virtually every minute of every game, even when he fails to deliver time and time again. I continue to believe that we might do better without him. Could we do worse? Is Ronaldo a manifestation of the psychological blockage, and the only way it can be overcome is to rid the club of his influence. the last vestige of the Ferguson era which cannot be fully moved beyond until he goes.

To add to the above. Has Rashford lost all vestige and ability as a football player? Yes, he's a good guy, etc. But my days.

If haven't got any luck in front of goal. The last few games in the EPL, we should have picked up 3 points easily in all of those games. Thar wouldn't have put us far behind Liverpool either.

It's rather like when Klopp took over at Liverpool. They started to play better football, but it took a while for the results to come.

It comes down to poor decision making. If Bruno squares it Ronaldo early doors we cruise that game. Our full backs are incredibly poor offensively and our go to players to get us out of a jam are hit and miss.

Even though with Bruno there is a lot to like, I don't think he has a place starting for an elite team. Trying 20 hail Mary passes a game, losing possession and not making the right decisions is costing us.

We're a mess at the minute and the majority of those players are not good enough. We do seem to be improving in some areas but it's too little too late for these group of players.

I agree entirely about Bruno. One decent pass per game is simply not enough for United, and no way he gets a starting spot on a top or even a midrange EPL team on his current form, particularly when his tendency to dwell on the ball, or not go to it, results in loss of possession. One wonders how much of his success in the past was based on his ability to con referees into giving fouls every time someone touches him.

Rashford's decline is as inexplicable as it is spectacular. I think a number of them are simply depressed. which gets back to the psychological problems.

The problem is that Ronaldo is the focal point in the team. It is easier for teams to defend when our tactics are so obvious.

I think 442 or diamond formation might work better. Ronaldo needs another player upfront with him.

While this might not be popular, I am a fan of RR and what he is trying to do with the team. Today was yet again a failure to convert chances.

Today was the day where it became obvious that CR7 is done. So easy to mark nowadays and seems to have lost some of his natural finishing ability too.
Going to be really interesting to see who lines up as our no.9 first game next season….

Let’s not beat around the bush
If you take Ronaldo and pogba out of that team and replace them with anyone with movement and energy we win that game!

Ronaldo is finished absolute done! Cannot be anywhere near this team next season! Football has moved on, the striker sets the tone, pressing, chasing etc, I’ve never seen a lazier forward in years at old Trafford and boy I’ve seen a few!

As regards pogba he’s just the most over rated footballer I’ve ever seen! Roll on the summer!

RR was right, we literally dominated that game for 85 minutes, without doubt it’s on the players today ??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️.

Rashford like many young english players had a good 18 months. He has never really developed much and failed to go up a level. His weight of passing and crossing is poor, even when he runs at people its so lousy and unsuffisticated and predictable. Pogba is a show pony and useless waste of money. The club needs to retool with quite a few new players.
