The most important signing you should be making this summer is, and i'm sure will be, the new manager
Is it POCH or TH? Are there any others?
Keane had it right when he said, if you want a certain man, go and get him. Doesn't matter how long he has on his contract or how much compo it will cost. If he is the right man, it doesn't matter
When the man comes in, he needs time. He will need 3 to 4 years to assemble the squad he wants and to implement the style of football he wants to play
He also has the dealings of clearing out the players that won't fit into his system and that takes time
I don't think RR would be the best choice and i also don't think Poch is the right choice either. I think it has to be someone proven to do it at the highest level and can deal with all the crap that comes with the high profile players
I would suggest you don't have a single player that will get into the Liverpool or City teams, and that includes on the bench
Your squad needs a lot of work right the way through the team
Goalkeeper, ok but isn't getting any younger and will need replacing soon enough. Is Henderson a good replacement? I would suggest yes, but if not, who?
Your defenders are truly shocking. Is Varane really all that? He was, and is still good, but for how long? Not long term. The rest of the defence isn't worth mentioning
Midfield, give me some names of players worthy of retaining their place in the squad?
Strikers, who have you got? The only decent player was MG and we all know where he might be going
Marcus Rashford? Take your blinkers off and you'd see he was never going to be a world class player. How many seasons has he had now under how many managers? And still hasn't improved. And before you all start saying he wasn't getting the minutes, have a think about why he wasn't getting them? Because he wasn't and isn't good enough
Your new manager has a lot of work to do, which is why he has to be the right man and is given the right amount of time
You will get it right and will be back up there again at some point. These things work in circles and your time will come around again
Patience is the word and understanding the size of the task ahead
Get the right man in first and foremost, give him the time and tools he needs and let him get on with it
It will come so just be patient and understand the bigger picture and most importantly, accept the situation. It will make the whole situation a lot easier on you.

Realistically we shouldn’t go anywhere near Poch. He’s not the answer for the mess we’re in.

Give it to Ralf along with the power to clear out the pampered primos we have. That way when we bring in our favoured long term manager, they’re not fighting a lost cause like his/ her predecessors.

Project reboot during 22/ 23 season.

Like a broken record all this. Get the right man, give him time etc. Time for most people these days is 3 months, not 3-4 years.

None of this will happen. Ever. We scrutinise half by half let alone match by match now. As
Soon as there a few defeats, and there will be, the. The dressing room leaks come out and the fans turn. Tedious but sadly true.

I’m advocate of the above. Give it Ralf - clear out the rotten apples and build a young, hungry squad.

One big problem- we are not an attractive option for players, at least unless we pay mega bucks to mercenary snowflakes and that is definately what we don't need!
city, liverpool and chelsea have long overtaken us as go to clubs and now we have the money off the geordies as another contender for players. The way we have treated the players will resonate among clubs on an international platform and certainly sway decisions away.
