To what extent is the reported pay cut following failure to qualify to the ECL really affecting Ronaldo? How will he manage to cope this coming year with a salary excluding other earnings of only £18m. Let's face it, a good strop is more than justified.

Is it true that the whole squad is being forced to suffer the same fate? If so then the person I feel really sorry for is Martial. He wasn't even with us for 1/ 2 the season so why should he suffer? This could really dampen his usual exuberance.

Well look at this way, Martial has mugged us off for probably £200,000 a week for 2/ 3 years so even with his paycut if true, he’s still massively overpaid for what he offers. I’m just gobsmacked someone typed the phrase “ I feel really sorry for Martial”! ?.

I'm sure united lose out on a % front sponsorship from Adidas if they fail to make the UCL. From that point its probably implemented into the players contracts that they lose 25% reason so many could be on so high wages. But I don't know i'm just a guy, on a forum, in a pub as 4 my labourers didn't turn in as was too hot for them to work.

Ed077 everybody has a clean slate for me including martial.
I will admit some will have shorter rope than others and I will take some turning on martial Shaw maguire Fred as those are players I have detested seeing wearing the Jersey for last few years.
However they will all be asked to play differently and do different j I bs. These jobs and thus coach may suit them so I'm keen to see how they get on.

{Ed077's Note - Whatever ETH wants eh. If he sees them as good enough to contribute in whatever way then I too am OK to give them the chance to impress.
