Fair play to him. He seems to have mostly stuck to Ten Haag’s tactics and team selection and in his post match interview talked about how luck was on our side this time around. If nothing else, the man seems loyal to Ten Haag.
I wouldn’t mind him sticking around to coach our forwards, but at the same time, don’t want to see the new coach forced to retain coaching staff that they don’t want. If I were coming in to a new club I’d probably want somebody loyal like Ruud who could show me the ropes, but we’ll have to wait and see, I suppose.

Really happy for him. Hopefully the next few games go well and he gets another job asap. Might I add that he was looking the part last night and spoke really well pre and post game.

Amorim might welcome having someone with knowledge of the players, their mentality, strengths and weaknesses, otherwise it might take a few months to get up to speed.
Did Ten Hag miss a trick by not wanting RR hanging around after he got the job?

I've decoded that ETH was just out of his depth. I so wanted him to work but the step up exposed him.

I would hold off on passing judgement until the end of the season. I suspect we will see similar issues crop up. We have an easy run of games after chelsea on paper and nothing is granted in football but we should be in a much better place in europe and the league come mid December. Mid December to early jan fixtures get very tough and hope we show a real change.
