Really good to see Malacia back. Whether he makes it here or not, it must have been a nightmare for him.

Very good to see him back playing. A fair way to go on his fitness but that could be said for most of them.
Ugarte and maz were both very good tonight I thought. Rasmus played well. Mainoo will help no end in midfield.
Mount had his 1st start since Aug and played very well off the ball and was good with the ball but maybe didn't get on it often enough.
Malacia will be delighted to have got out there and despite being caught for pace on that occasion he was on the ball a lot high up the pitch and available, a few sloppy crosses but that's to be expected.

Mazroui is an incredible buy and so good in all aspects of the game. I thought Ugarte was really good and starting to settle in.

Team will improve a lot once players are back to full fitness and get used to playing this system. Still waiting on Kobe and Yoro and they are both great talents. Its the first time I can remember where we actually have plenty of options, which includes Maguire coming back to.

I thought mount was excellent and he allows us to really press high and good link up play and clever player. Looking forward to the Everton and then the big one at Emirates.

Antony is not made for this system and will get sold imo. Garna needs to improve his finishing as we are creating plenty of chances for him.

Maguire will be lost in this setup. Far too slow and pedestrian. He can share a taxi with Antony.

Good to see a completely different lineup as the gaffa assesses what he has at his disposal.
Ugarte looks more assured by the game. Mazraoui is class in any team, what a signing.
I'm still very conflicted on the wide positions in this set-up. No-one's cried out to be selected so far but they seem very demanding positions. I wonder if we've got the personnel atm.
This is the type of display we need more often from Rasmus. As it is I think we'll need something as there's no direct no.9 replacement if Rasmus is injured, but how well he performs for the remainder of the season dictates whether we add depth or add a better player.

I would like to see Dalot on the right Spenno. I think he’s far more comfortable there, and can offer a crossing option. I don’t want to see inverted fullbacks. Just give me a player who will look to get the ball into the box and create space inside for the two players behind the striker.

Dalot will be gone in the summer I suspect and hope. A very poor crosser of the ball. Pertained I don't see him fitting into this system anywhere.

I do think wingers as opposed to fullbacks are better suited, and that's what he went with at Sporting. In fact going on what he had before, it was wingers all round also in those two no.10 roles, but we are quite well stocked there I reckon.
Trouble is it takes time to coach wingers on the defensive side of their game so I can see the appeal in going safer for now while that's worked on.
