Looks like Liverpool moving further ahead of us with stadium plans although not as big but it's looking good I hate to admit.

I think we seriously need to go down the spurs root or Liverpool and refurb bit by bit.

Old Trafford is seriously lagging behind and with other clubs in motion of improving or new stadiums.

Old Trafford falling apart.
Board falling apart.
Team is awful.
Run like a Sunday League club.

Deffo need upgrades all over of which won't happen with what we have in charge.

{Ed033's Note - Is "spurs root" an aphrodisiac herb that may give the Manchester United players some oomph?

12 Feb 2020 14:03:03
it justs needs a bit of an upgrade, lick of pain maybe some fancy new tv screens.

i wouldn't go as far to say its falling apart but yeah it does need some work on it.

Ed033. That's the one, 😅 meant route but still worked out as good with your spin on it as Oles root is killing us haha.

{Ed033's Note - I don't know this, but is someone thinking that if they stick with Ole, he will copy S.A.F. as sticking with S.A.F. worked out after a number of years?

12 Feb 2020 18:22:55
Or Klopp In that matter. People need to realise Klopp was already a top manager and sought after.

Ole had a good run that's it. Barcelona or Madrid weren't going to come in for Ole, he wasn't going to leave for another team.

Probably the worst decision United have made this century rushing into a deal that didn't need to be made. We've went further back with him in charge and his negative football is becoming a joke.

Even SAF won things before United so he already had the winning pedigree.

Jesus Wilbot, have you forgot what goal he scored? He could probably relegate a team like Cardiff and we would still want him. Lucky for us, he managed Molde team that was challenging for the league and Cup in their own league and had a chance in Europe.

It's getting boring now guys move on. We already know he got Cardiff relegated and set them back 50 years, we already know he turned the powerhouse which was Molde into a semi pro team, we already know that he's clueless and inept at coaching/ managing. Find something else to blame him for as the constant reminder of his failures as a manager/ coach is BORINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!

We can’t move on whilst the sentimental choice is still in charge.

wilbot SAF hadn't just won things before going to OT he'd broken the old firm monopoly in Scotland. That to me, is some achievement.

Red Man. Right, we can't move on. But we could stop posting the same things again and again. and again. It's so tedious and it accomplishes absolutely nothing. The Ole argument has been done to death.

i will say it different then. untill ole and the three stooges are gone we are destined for mid table. but we feel alright after every loss because he comes out smiling.

Fair point Red Man, I do tend to write a lot about Ole, often in reply. In fact I have written a post in months about him that hasn't been a reply.

While I also post about other things, formations, tactics, potential signings or just general thoughts on things that aren't the manager.

When was the last time you posted anything that wasn't just you banging the same old drum about your dislike for our manager?

You used to be a great poster who'd discuss many different aspects about our club, you held some strong opinions, especially about the owners. But in the last year all you have spoken about is Ole and how you don't think he is the right manager. It feels like an obsession with you, like you feel you're running a one man crusade to save the club by convincing everyone that Ole isn't the right manager.
You're almost certainly right, yet your tone and insistence on name calling often actually is what prompts people to challenge your view.

You clearly have an axe to grind over Ole, as there is a huge difference between not thinking he is the right manager and calling him names which generally comes across as spiteful.
I don't know if Ole refuse to sign your shirt, or maybe you feel angry at Ole as he replaced the love of your life, Jose. I don't know, but all of your posts are just full of anger and spite towards someone who has only ever had the best intentions towards our club, that is often why you get long posts from certain individuals challenging your view.

I actually agree, Ole clearly isn't the right long term manager and the club made a mistake hiring him when they did. Maybe all that was needed to steady the club was for him to manage until the end of last season while the club sorted out a long term plan. The fact that they didn't isn't Ole's fault, and he is still just trying to do his best.
I'll be sad when he goes, not because I think the club are making a mistake, but because so many fans will have turned on him. He doesn't deserve that.

Shappy, he deserves criticism because of how he is performing as our current manager.
He is still remembered as a good servant to the club in one of our most successful eras but that doesn't excuse him from criticism.
I stood outside Old Trafford singing his name the day after the CL final in 99. It is probably the best feeling I've ever had watching United but that doesn't make watching this drivel week in week out any more bearable. Football fans will turn on club legends, world class managers and even there own mother if they are not getting results on the pitch, its the nature of the game. No one wants our club to be suffering so badly but sadly it is and Ole is the one currently overseeing this rubbishshow.

2toms, I'm not saying he is beyond criticism or that anyone should be. However, that criticism should be both apt and respectful.

He should be criticised for his mistakes and for those things he gets wrong that are within his power. Being slagged off for "selling Lukaku and not getting a replacement" is frankly ridiculous. Firstly Lukaku wanted to leave, secondly when the club sanction the move it is down to those who organise transfers to sort out both the exit of one player and the signing of another.

The other thing I find distasteful and disrespectful is the name calling. It's just spiteful and Ole doesn't deserve it. He has never shown malcontent to the club or the fans. He has always been respectful with us and our club.

Criticise him by all means when he selects in your opinion the wrong starting 11, criticise him for sticking with a player you feel isn't deserving of his place in the team, criticise him for him not improving players, criticise him for his tactics and the results. These are all things he has a measure of control over and are a part of his remit as our manager.

But there really is no need for the name calling, and you just make yourself look stupid and ignorant when you blame the manager for things he doesn't have control over.

Shappy give it up pal. He’s being heavily criticised for the performances on the pitch. I didn’t say anything about recruitment or call him any names.
We all know the inadequacy of our board and recruitment process. I’m talking about Ole and his coaching team. They’ve got worse as the seasons gone on and need to go.

With Ousmane Dembele‘s injuries, is his career at the top level over? Hard to see things improving if he’s perpetually crocked at 22. Is it bad luck or poor conditioning?

{Ed001's Note - it is certainly not luck.}
