Ed could we get a poll up of: if you could keep 1 player at the club who would it have been, ravel Morrison, pogba or januzaj {Ed007's Note - I'll get that set up.}

Interesting results so far, I myself voted for Pogba as I feel he is what our teams needs most

I am very interested in what changes in the rules the fa&PL could impose on premier league clubs in order to increase the amount of young English players in the EPL. My suggestion is as follows
Each club can only name a maximum of 30 squad players. a maximum of 15 can be purchases of any nationality (from clubs at home or abroad) and 15 must have been with the club since 16yo or have been with club for 6 years (so a long serving signing will count as home grown after six years of service) . this will reduce wage bills and transfer activity and fees and could implemented worldwide, there is no restriction of trade issues and would encourage better coaching at grass roots level {Ed002's Note - You need to sign in.}

hi eds, what happened to the post I made this morning about the 2012 world cup? {Ed002's Note - It was potentially libelous and as you have been told such things will simply get cut. If you want to post BS about subjects you don't understand that maybe lbelous you need to take it elsewhere.}

dear mr Marcellus Wallace
ngiak applauds you
in fact ngiak is in total agreement in most of your facts an opinions
there is a danger that man united can slide to the precipice that Liverpool found themselves 15 years ago
Liverpool has slowly turned it around. very slowly
and chelsea have a frighteningly good young crop of players. the both lukaku and courtois are on loan. both world class both very young
and Basel? short memory of the champions league for our club?
loss to everton v home loss to WBA?
ngiak fears all your points are valid and substantiated
but in the end.
ngiak has to agree that the history and the institution will always prevail
the building blocks are there. the faith is there and the pride is there
mercenary players are far fewer than in our main rivals city and chelsea
and the club foundations are strong. following the strongest
it's a matter of time dear sir
ngiak believes so
ngiak believes it far more than you believe our demise, sir
gan
ps. time will tell

i ed's, could u make a new poll(spelling) "how long will moyes last in utd 6, 12, or 18mnd and the second poll should be will moyes make us a top team or will he make us medicore(spelling) cheer's zee:) {Ed002's Note - Or a poll to say whether the club will get some fans who will get behind the manager and the team?}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think that is better off on the Chelsea page ed =) {Ed002's Note - It is nothing to do with Chelsea. You have become like the Liverpool "fans" - not supportive of the owners, the management or the players. You then display your inadequacies through feeble and pitiful attempts at banter.}

Agree0 Disagree0

How about we just give him our support thus giving him the best possible chance to succeed?
sorry zee but its these sort of posts that really, to quote peter griffin ''grind my gears''

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair to Zee he hasn't actually said in his post that he wants more to go or that he won't succeed, he only asked how long people think he will stay and if he will make us more competitive.

And to answer the question I think he'll last at least 3 more seasons, good or bad he will be given time to build his own team.
I also think it is too early to say whether he will take us to that next level, we'll have to wait and see.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha - nothing to do with Chelsea? But Liverpool gets brought in to the conversation? It has as much to do with Liverpool as it does Chelsea - ZIP. Poor form mate. {Ed002's Note - No, they have become exactly like the Liverpool "fans" - who pretty much give no support to the owners, the management or the players.}

So it appears we can scratch Garay off the list too, if i'm honest i'm not too worried as I was never quite convinced about him and feel there are better options out there.

Then we have the news about young Adnan, apparently the hold up is that his agents want a 20k a week deal and a 100k signing on fee, were as the club want closer to 15k a week and no signing on fee as he is already at the club.

For gods sake just pay it, I mean seriously how much will it cost to replace him? We lost Pogba and have had to spend over 27m on Fellaini to replace him, and to be honest Pogba looks the better player. It makes no sense losing him for what in total will be less than 500k over the course of his contract.

Now I also think it is starting to become clear who Moyes rates and who he doesn't.

Young was given a few games and has since been cast aside, Kagawa hasn't really been given a chance and Zaha even less of a chance. Nani hasn't been played that much considering he was given a new 5 year contract only a month ago, although he has had an injury. Anderson doesn't seem to be trusted all that much. But the other one i'm alittle suprised about is the lack of playing time given to Johnny Evans, he was one of our best defenders last season. Now he can't get a game, both Smalling and Jones have been played ahead of him.

So I can see Young, Anderson, Kagawa and Evans all leaving at the end of the season. Zaha maybe loaned out, and Nani could also leave if the right offer comes in. Hernandez has hardly been given a kick. Fabio has stated that he will probably leave, and Rio and Evra are also likely to leave, as well as Giggs retiring.

Then we have the Rooney situation, which is far from resolved. Which could leave us with a serious amount of departures from the squad in the summer.

We will certainly need two midfielder, a centre back, a left back, a winger and possibly a striker. And if were honest they all need to be top class.

Next summer will be a key moment in our history and will dictate where we end up for the next few years.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hi honestly do not think we will have to wait until the summer I think if we loose the next 3 games the fans are going to turn on him very quickly southampton look a decent side stoke are hit and miss and so are norwich but these are teams we realy should be beating

Agree0 Disagree0

I was reading that the salary wasn't an issue but the they refuse to pay sign on money as he's already on the team. Woodward can't afford to blow this and Adnan's representatives have all the leverage. Can you imagine the outrage if we lose this budding star coupled with the dismal transfer market. Just hurry up and get it done and give the fans something to be happy about

To be honest i'd happily donate some money into a fund to pay Adnans "signing on" fee if it ment we kept him at the club.

I think it is vital that we keep this lad as if we can't then we might as well close the academy if all the best prospects keep leaving then what is the point in bank rolling their education.

Agree0 Disagree0

If he don't sign him because of a 100k signing bonus that they want then this total bs. No other big club has this difficultly keeping their best young players. How much will he be worth in yrs? Not to mention the merchandising revenue he will bring in, we look like penny pinching fools. How much does Young earn in a week?

Agree0 Disagree0

If that's all he wants then I think he's being very reasonable. If the powers that be at the club are making waves over such small sums they need to consider working in a different industry.

Considering how desperately short we are of creative geniuses right now and with the recent Pogbagate fiasco, it makes it hard to believe that Woodward and Moyes haven't just given Januzaj what he wants. I don't think he can be accused of being greedy with these kind of wage demands.

Even if Woodward was dithering, I would expect Moyes to be beating down his office door and demanding he just sorts it out with minimum fuss.
