Hi Ed's any truth to in the links with Nathan Collins recommend by Darren Fletcher.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I know nothing of the player.}

20 May 2019 06:30:28
It's a miss print, it's GEMMA Collins, and she's DDG replacement.

Hi Ed's do you know if there's any truth to the Nathan Collins rumours? Supposed to have been recommended by Darren Fletcher he's an under 19 Irish center half.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I know nothing of the player I am afraid.}

Thank you for your reply.

Ed’s if you have time.

Do you think Man Utd will be watching Bales situation at Real? Ed Woodward will probably be drooling at the though of finally getting Bale in.

I really hope you say interest has passed but I believe that’s a carrot that Ed W can’t refuse.

Gracias.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - Bale's situation is perfectly clear and won't change. He is available but the price is through the roof. Manchester United has identified targets and I am not aware of them changing to include Bale.}

19 May 2019 18:25:41
That’s a relief to hear Ed. Overly expensive and will be 30 when the season starts. We made a mistake paying Roo year stupid money at 30. We’ve repeated the mistake with Sanchez (although slightly younger) . Hopefully lessons have been learned.

Pass, on Bale.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 May 2019 16:27:59
I really don't know what to make of the Bale rumours and I don't know if I'd want him here.

He is a world class game changer, no doubt. He's a potential role model for the younger players and would hopefully make Rashford and co realise that they aren't all that.

Having said that, he does have injury issues. Managed properly though and that lessens somewhat.

There seems to be no way back for him at Madrid, and he's never truly settled. We are realistically the only team that could afford him.

Sanchez and Lukaku to go with Bale coming in? Potentially playing in a free role behind Rashford?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed004's Note - I would only want him on a loan with an option to buy which Im not sure why Madrid would accept. Purely because he would be a stop gap on the right side until we can persuade Sancho to sign next season. However his wages are a massive concern as we already have a problem with contract negotiations atm}

19 May 2019 16:35:17
I think there could be a huge wage surplus soon. Big clear out on the way.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed004's Note - But we are struggling to get players signed to wages atm without overpaying already, Shaw, Martial and De Gea etc}

19 May 2019 17:04:30
Well the latest comments from both zidane and bale were interesting.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed004's Note - Zidanes were but Bales are made up quotes}

19 May 2019 17:11:41
Bale settled incredibly well in Madrid. So well that he gets quite annoyed when the whole football thing gets in the way of his golfing and other cultural pursuits.

You’d think we’d have learned our lesson with Sanchez, but I’m sure Big Ed will be googled eyed at the big name. But for our fans to honestly think signing Bale is in any way a good idea is beyond dumb.

19 May 2019 17:19:10
I can imagine him saying something along those lines though.

Eds,
I've sent in several posts over the past 2 days and they haven't made it onto the site. Was there something wrong with them?

Typically Allegri becomes available this summer. If I was him I'd wait around tuntil Christmas when we will no doubt sack OGS.

Ed002 has explained that we completely burned our bridges with him when we sacked LVG a year early.

Nice piece ed. Big fan of this guy. I see him making a step up soon.

{Ed001's Note - I like what I have seen so far too. Thanks mate.}

Considering we all state regularly on here that we think the media spout a lot of bull, and we should take it all with a pinch of salt, we don't half regurgitate these rumours when things aren't going well.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

{Ed004's Note - And then tear into the players for it...}

19 May 2019 11:45:33

I think i am the biggest culprit and might need to take a little break as i do probably talk a lot of nonsense because i just write what ever goes in my mind and heart at the time of posting.

I think it would be wise to back off for a but so i don't offend anyone as i respect each and every single one of you.

I used to be so positive but right now there isn't much left to be positive about United.

Agree2 Disagree0

19 May 2019 10:54:35
I believe nothing, until i hear it from the horse's mouth, Ed004. Must be my line of work! The thing is, if enough people start repeating the same rumour, it becomes accepted, and usually used as stick to beat someone with.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed004's Note - Like the recent Rashford ones. Hes on 45k a week but going by the mirror hes going to treble that to 300k. Ignoring the maths behind it all, itll spark everyone discussing it even though his agent released a statement denying media reports}

19 May 2019 15:20:24
Totally agree, Ed. Singh, you're not offending anyone, and you shouldn't stop posting your opinion. Like I said, when things aren't going well, people start looking at every little story and fearing the worst.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed004's Note - It would be a shame if you stopped posting Singh as you contribute a great bit to the site. Youre not even close to the worst culprits either. But I think its just our nature as fans. I know after a loss I now dont tend to post on the site my initial opinion for a bit. Ill rant with my mates beside me and probably with the other eds but usually come and post when Ive cooled down a bit and become a bit more rational}

19 May 2019 20:31:02
I would never leave this site permanently.

I am too addicted to the site and the posters who i admire as every single one off!

I will just stay away from reading the newspapers in the transfer window and post with a cool head.

I won't leave you guys easily! 😂😂😂😂.

Just want to pay tribute to Vincent Kompany. One of the best players leaders and all round good guy to grace the game in recent years. How we could do with a player like him.

Believable10 Unbelievable1

19 May 2019 09:59:50
Top bloke.

Agree1 Disagree0

19 May 2019 10:45:18
Absolute legend. Shows the ruthlessness of city too. They are moving kompany and looking to improve whilst we still haven’t properly replaced Rio and vidic. So we have Jones and smalling new contracts. That’s the difference between the two clubs atm.

19 May 2019 10:52:54
Great player, leader, gentleman. A dying breed in football.

Agree1 Disagree0

19 May 2019 09:17:15
Watch City go out and get a top class replacement for Kompany while we still struggle to get the leader at the back we have needed for the last few years.

19 May 2019 12:43:44
De Ligt I reckon.

Agree2 Disagree0

19 May 2019 08:46:35
The rumour mill today is that OGS is open to selling Pogba because he doesn't want an unhappy player (you could read trouble into that), however Woodward doesn't want to sell because he thinks selling a top player sends out the wrong message (you could read media clicks? ) . If that is true it amply demonstrates the issues we have. Our last manager referred to a virus and wasn't supported now we have this. We don't know the inner workings but being open to sell is vague, either want him gone or not and if deemed that important it should be a matter of principle.

Believable2 Unbelievable6

19 May 2019 09:15:40
I read the other day that mourinho and now ole were contemplating selling martial because of his attitude in training and games but he is a favourite of one of the glazers and won't be sold. The more rumours like this come out, the more you have to question what is going on at the club and how much say the manager has in the squad.

Agree6 Disagree2

19 May 2019 12:49:44
If that’s the case and Ole has anything about him he should walk away. Clubs rotten at the minute. Manager has to make the big calls on the playing squad for me. I understand clubs have teams who collectively look at recruitment and things but if the manager wants a player out of the dressing room it should happen.

Imagine if city had our board.

Joe Hart still no. 1

Navas playing as LB.

Mangala given the captainship.

Zabaleta and Kolarov given one year extension for the third time because "they play for the badge"

Wilfred bony given three years extension.

Fans wanting sterling, aguero and KDB sold.

{Ed001's Note - to be fair, Navas does play right back now.}

Odds on to sign Bale this summer at 8/ 15 with most bookies. Sanchez off the books and Bale in perhaps? Would love it to be a two year loan instead of a purchase. Madrid have done similar deals before.

Believable1 Unbelievable5

19 May 2019 07:28:09
Avoid Bale like the plague.

Agree5 Disagree1

19 May 2019 09:53:23
I know Bale is injury prone but he is an upgrade on what we have now and if we can get. £10m a season loan deal that would be good business.

Agree0 Disagree4

19 May 2019 09:59:35
The only thing exchanging Sanchez for Bale would be freeing up a non-homegrown spot in the squad.

I don’t see Bale as an upgrade in sanchez right now. And he would bring the same problems with the wage structure and thus discontent in the dressing room.

Stear well clear I would say.

Agree4 Disagree3

19 May 2019 10:58:20
Bale is absolutely an upgrade on Sanchez. Sanchez has done absolutely nothing. Zip. Bale would score 15+ goals a season.

I still wouldn’t take Bale personally, he’s too injury prone and most importantly the wages are astronomical.

But let’s not pretend Sanchez is better. He’s contributed zero.

Agree4 Disagree1

19 May 2019 11:04:54
His wages would be astronomical. Injury prone aswell, so he would fit into the squad well. ;)

Agree2 Disagree0

19 May 2019 11:55:45
Someone tell me how you would get a £60m+ asset for £10m a season when he's coming to the tail end of his career? Please!
