Now is the time for us to make a statement t and put our noisy neighbours back in their place, they are vulnerable and we are ready to rock and roll. Last night, I have a very vivid realistic dream that Joe Hart scores an own goal tomorrow. I was considering having a few quid on it but in the last month I have also dreamt that I could fly, that I won the lottery, and that I was married to Kylie, all of which proved to be untrue (so far??). Whilst I would like to be filthy rich it was the Kylie one that upset me the most and she and I are made for each other. Hey oh, here's looking for a good performance and a win tomorrow.

Haha Tony you obviously could not marry Kylie as she is waiting til I give my wife the elbow and take her in 😁😁

Hi ed, I asked you about garay yesterday but it's not made it on. does that mean you see garay as a definate no? And this is a brand new one but what is your view on collocini to united? He would be a cheap stop gap til summer?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Nope. Neither will happen in January.}

Collocini is an appalling defender.

I'm a but surprised by some of the posts on here about lvg at the moment. Its almost like some want him to fail just to prove a point. Moyes really did need to go and who else was there to replace him? Mourinho was always my first choice but he either didn't want the job or wasnt approached. I like Klopp but he'd not doing to well this season and hasn't done a lot elsewhere. Simeone has potential but again hasn't done anything elsewhere and has had fantastic players to work with. Look at avb, i expect a few seasons ago people on here would have taken him from porto as a potential replacement for saf and yet how was he any different at the time to Klopp or simeone? You can pick holes in lvg's achievements, you can question his fallings out with players / officials in the past but nearly all clubs he has been with have benefited greatly from his input. We needed an experiencedar manager used to handling top players and he is that. There is also no reason why he is going to fall out with anyone at the club, it's not like saf didn't have his run ins with players etc. Some times it can have an effect on the club and with saf it did on a few occasions (rock of Gibraltar, stam etc) but I'm not against someone being in charge who is a bit single minded and doesn't really take any s**t from anyone. We have just had the best transfer window I can remember in over 30 years contrary to what even some people here were saying. There doesn't seem to be many fans coming on here now saying that we have no money and can't attract the best players. Some people just want to look at the bad side of everything but I've been impressed with virtually all the signings and can't pick who I like the most from herrera to Rojo. Ok 2 areas should have had money thrown at them and maybe haven't but that was 1 window.
Blind is an improvement on what we had or didn't have. He is probably not the solution but will turn out to be a fine and versatile squad player. Lvg will be judged at the end of the season. As I said last year before moves went and I say the same now for this season, no matter how long a contract I expect certain clauses to be in there. If lvg doesn't get cl football and top 4 then he will be gone as I believe it's the minimum requirement because of ultimately money. If he gets cl then he will be there next season. Our football has improved but then it should given the amount of money spent. Give time he will tweak the club from youth to the top hopefully using proven systems from ajax foremost and then barca/bayern etc. I expect more Dutch based youngsters to come too. But I am genuinely excited now before games and I feel we are getting back a little bit of a fear factor certainly attacking wise anyway with the potential to chase games if needed. I don't think i can say that for any match or period last season under moves. Some of the play I've seen this season has been much more methodical with more of a diagonal approach with player moving into other players spaces which is far better and more suited to the way we would historically play. I've also noticed that De Gea is very rarely kicking the ball up field. It is nearly always going straight to a cb or rb/lb. Much better. 2 things I want from the club I love. Results and good football and I think we are achieving one of those. We didn't have either last season imo.

Agree with you, there are a few who got Moyes wrong and some seem to want to try and show it wasn't Moyes after all.
Personally I wanted Klopp but LvG is doing the right things and I do think, regardless of tomorrow's result there is progress.

All managers need time .
i didn't think moyes was the right man and i'm not sure lvg is .
that said the amount of money we have spent and the quality of the players we have i think we will get 4th.
i actually think this group of players could win the league

I wanted Moyes to do well the fact is he was utter shyte, plenty think LvG will fail but let's be fair we are, in life surrounded by self abusers, it's a fact of life
