Just watched the program full English and really enjoyed it, two things baffle me though, how did le tiss not win more caps and how did razer ruddock get some and yet Bruce didn't
Fair play to razer though, he kept in shape, he hasn't changed since he was playing 😂.

Because le Tissier was perceived as a luxury player and lazy. He looked good on highlight reels and MOTD but often in games he was anonymous for 89 minutes before producing some magic and getting Southampton a late winner or equaliser. Perception is everything. Was he a player that could be accomdated at international level?

Ruddock is genuinely one of the worst players I have ever seen. I'm amazed anyone spent money on him. Just a wind up merchant and a bully. How Bruce never got capped is a mystery, would've thought was worth at least one cap.

I think it was more due to who he played for why he didn't get more caps. He was class.

Whilst I don’t think pogba’s comments are great I think people need to relax a bit. This is what happens every international break. It’s a slow news day and the media just want to stir up drama.

Ed002 has told us real’s interest has gone. Pogba didn’t say real was THE dream club but A dream club. That’s hard to argue with. It’s a massive club and for most players it is a dream. He also said he’s happy at united under ole. Funnily enough people have ignored that part.

Pogba does infuriate me at Times. Massively talented but also can go missing for games at a time. But there are very few players in the world with his talents. Losing him would be a disaster going forward. It would take 2 players to replace him. We need to retain players of his calibre and build the team around players like him. Not sell him. I rarely listen to what the media says these days. It’s always clickbait. Just look at the rubbish they print every time hazard goes away with Belgium. Just trying to sell papers.

You’re right about that. We’d need one top class player to replace him for the games he turns up for, and a bang average one for the games where he can’t be arsed.

Park I’m one of those who commented below and honestly I am very relax. For me the best way is talk less and show more on the pitch. When one has achieved greatness, the softest of whisper will be very loud and positive. Pogba has not achieved greatness yet and I have no doubt he could one day. Till then he should just concentrate and not dwell into controversial subjects. Leave that to the manager. That way more people would trust him and be less critical of him I feel 😉.

Danny if you look at city they are littered with quality in midfield. When pogba has an off game or is marked out the game our attacking plan goes down the pan. That should not be the case for a club the size of united. We should have 2/ 3 ball players in midfield that can create and supply our forward line. I like matic but we need to upgrade. Same potentially for Herrera. Matches are won in midfield and we just don’t have the quality to compete or dominate against top quality opposition. So selling someone of pogba’s quality is a hindrance to our progression and would set us back in our pursuit for the top honours. I can’t name many midfielders in the world that would improve on him. And the ones I can are unattainable.

Park, like others I am very relaxed about this situation.

If Pogba wants to leave then let him go and if he wants to stay then I have no problem either.

He needs to up his game if he wants to be irreplaceable at Utd.

If he turned up in every game then he could boss the midfield on his own. That’s the talent he has but we don’t see enough of it.

At City, the team is built around Pep’s system, and the players adapt to this.

For Pogba to play at his best, the team needs to be built around him. That is what Ole has done over the last few months: putting Pogba in front of two holding players with three quick attackers making runs in front of him. Fair enough, it has worked pretty well all in all.

There are two issues with this. First, because the team is set up around Pogba, if he doesn’t turn up or can’t be arsed, the team performance is going suffer. Second, and most importantly, there is absolutely no sense in building the team around a player who is looking to leave the club. Ed002 has been telling us for the two years that Pogba and his agent are actively trying to secure a move elsewhere. Part of this was down to his poor relationship with Jose, but his recent comments about Real show that he isn’t committed to the club long term.

TOP Top post Danny and 666. It is time for us to move on from pogba. I will be so gutted to see City sign Niguez who desperately wanted to play in England and we had a great chance of singing him a couple yesrs ago but instead we signed a player who never wanted to come to us in the first place!

Danny, that first post is hilarious 🤣.

Well said Park. If Pogba leaves, we will loose further quality in our team.

Rash, Martial, Lukaku and many others have very poor games often. Still it's Pogba who is always scrutinized.
Young often looses his marker. Shaw makes those sprints up and down very rarely.
But at the end of the game, fans and Pundits both slam Pogba.

We must also realize that this is the first time in years, he has played in his natural position. And he has delivered in 80% of those games.
Although he looses possession, he atleast tries to make those difficult passes.
Our midfield will be flat without him.

I'm surprised that people think Pogba is any good because to my mind he is a pretty average player.

All players have mental and physical abilities and although Pogba has physical talent, he doesn't have the mental ability to be a top player. It doesn't matter what he might be capable of because it happens so erratically it could almost be accident. if you try something enough times eventually it will come off. Top players do it week in, week out.

Pogba has what is called in Argentina 'Pecho Frio' which as a direct translation is 'cold chest' but means no heart. And that's Pogba - no heart.

Remember, when Pogba doesn't turn up, he is taking the place of a better player we could have in the team who can be bothered every week.

Review Of The Day 21st March 2019

{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 21st March 2019

Great read as usual Ed. Thanks for that.
I particularly liked the one on Rabiot’s mum saying club wants him to be in pajamas at 9pm watch the match and go to bed at 11pm. God I can’t stop laughing. His mum is a fierce lady man. Don’t play games with her 🤣🤣.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I think she went a bit far with the dungeon stuff though she does have a point. They are treating him poorly simply because he decided not to sign a new contract and it has been an ongoing theme of these articles how they are constantly attacking him for what he does. You only have to contrast that with how Liverpool dealt with Emre Can last season to see how a player can run down his contract and both sides deal with it professionally.

I wonder how they will act if Neymar runs his down next?}

21 Mar 2019 08:57:53
Exactly Ed1. You can't force players into signing new deals just because you have lots of money. Maybe they want a new challenge, fresh scenario. Also as stated by Rabiot's mom he is wanting to honor his current deal, not like Adrien is refusing to play he just doesn't want to stay at PDF for much long. I think PSG are being very unprofessional and trying to bully hi. They can deal with such situation a lot better. Just look at how Arsenal are handling the Ramsey situation. Maybe if PDF acted better then maybe they could persuade him to sign on but now it's looking very terrible on them.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I am shocked at how they are handling it.}

21 Mar 2019 10:10:53
Ed, surely he could bring a case against them for workplace bullying. Imagine this was a normal job, and an employer treated their employee like this?

They’re really not doing themselves any favours, and should make players think twice before signing for them.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - but then it would make it difficult for him to get decent contracts too. Just like when an employee does complain, they find it difficult afterwards. People already think Rabiot is difficult to deal with.}

21 Mar 2019 11:22:16
Would he be keen to join us? If OGS is still manager next season he could possibly motivate Rabiot? We never know but yes it’s shameful for a big club to behave so small.
Then again the players are all highly paid so I won’t mind sitting it out if it was me 🤣🤣.
Look at Sanchez he is getting giant salary and not playing up to par. How do we deal with this? Sad situation 🤦‍♂️.

{Ed001's Note - no idea mate.}
