How, how, how, how, does Ferigie get away with it?

Why, why, why, why, was Ferigie made a "sir"?

Why, why, why, why, do you respect this man?

blair and rainy

My my are you two really that naive? What do you think the football world is? what do thnk it takes to stay on top for twenty years. I'm not condoning it but there's a hell of a lot of posturing and favours and political bartering that is almost a given. Nearly every paper you read chocolate bar the cars you drive the tv you watch has been tainted by the men behind it. Hell even sport was concieved to appease the masses while they enjoy there luxeries and fleece us even more. I hate it mate buts thats what it is. Like I said if your that ruffled by it take your picket line to ot and get them out. But for me yin and yang light and dark good and evil in all of us. Funny how you guys focus on the bad. and what of stories like this? of stopping the team bus to show respects at a funeral was it the tea lady? Thats Alex also. He was knighted for outstanding work in his field. And he deserves that. Cons Red

Enough of the nonsense please folks. I can confirm that Wesley Sneijder WILL NOT join Man Utd. SAF has run out of patience with his wage demands and was relying on Sneijder submitting a transfer request which is apparently unlikely. SAF is still looking for a replacement for Paul Scholes but it is likely that the man in question will be Samir Nasri.
Rumours are rife that he is on his way to Wastelands but a friend of mine in the know seems to think a deal to bring him to Old Trafford is a certainty whether it is done this summer or next on a free transfer.
I am disappointed about SAF ending his interest in Sneijder but you have to point the finger at that muppet Kenny Dalglish. He is paying ridiculous money left right and centre on crap like Downing, Henderson and Carroll. This has made the transfer market more of a farce than normal and other teams are using these players as examples when demanding fees. Clubs must be wishing Liverpool go in for their players now as Liverpool have a manager that seems intent on wasting record sums of money. Watch him do to Liverpool what he did to Newcastle. He will ruin the Kop and I like many of you on here will be over the moon about it.
Title number 20 is on the way. Chelsea Pensioners second and the Bitters will finish 3rd.
Much Love

Hold on Liverpool want to slash ticket allocations for matches against united by half cause united fans are standing in the upper tear... It was Liverpool who had a problem with there fans standing in stadiums and I never heard united giving out when Liverpool fans destroyed the upper tear in OT last year... I know goal.com isn't great for news but is this true

Hello loyal followers I told you i'd be back once i've watched "How To Buy A Football Club". Here is my humble opinion

How, how, how, how, does Ferigie get away with it?

Why, why, why, why, was Ferigie made a "sir"?

Why, why, why, why, do you respect this man?

He is a shyster and a thief. If Kenny did this to LFC i would want him nowhere near the club. No matter how many trophies he won us. Seriously Fergie has a "knighthood" and Kenny hasn't? I suppose if Geoffery Archer is a "Lord" then Fergie is deffinitely a "sir".

Blair Mayne YNWA {Ed007's Note - It took you all that time to watch it Blair? What is your TV running off, steam???? Ya plank :-)

MUFC NEWS

What Centre Midfield will Man Utd sign?
Defour
Nasri
Sneijder
Rodwell

However could the option be staring us in the face? Cleverley-Could Cleverley be the next person to follow into Wilshere's footsteps? I certainly think so.
Pogba-Great young player that to me could be the next Vieira in his Arsenal days. That would be some coup from Le Havre and well worth the so called 'tapping up' we may have done.
Gibson-After his move to Sunderland(or as i like to call them 'Sunderland United' because of there signings of every one of our youth prospects)collapsed could he step into Scholes' shadow? he has scored a good amount of goals for us and has a powerful shot. Could become Scholes Successor.

Just imagine if I am right. There were so many of you waiting to say look at who we have bought it shows the Glazers are not just about getting money. Well hello is that the coffee i smell it seems that once again "There is no value in the market and we are happy with our squad"

Can anyone honestly tell me that we have a better side than last year when we were lucky to win the league with our away record and we were battered again in the final.

Lets hope I am completely wrong and the purse strings are opened and we get what we need a genuinely world class midfielder. Does it not scare you to think what we could have done with an owner willing to invest the way that City's has.

Maybe oneday........RAINFISHTROMBONE

@ Away record of top 4
Man United 25pts
Chelsea 26pts
Man City 28pts
Arsenal 31pts

Home record of top 4
Man United 55pts
Chelsea 45pts
Man City 43pts
Arsenal 37pts

I wouldnt say we were lucky to win the league, i would say we were the best team and deserved to be crowned champions.

barcelona have spent the most in the transfer window in the last 3 years, they pay the most wages in world football average 4.5million a player and are in huge debt, they have just spent 37 million on sanchez so he can warm the bench, and are about to purchase fabregas, I for one hope that when there golden generation of players hit the skids it all falls apart, I used to like them, but seeing them turn on the sprinklers when mourinho won at the nou camp, getting ridiculous decisions from referees and this more than a club self righteous rubbish and the medias love in for them does my head in. I await the collapse.

Seems to be a very very good player from what I remember

@Sydney

I haven't posted or seen much in the last week or so but I saw your point about Ravel Morrison needing to be loaned out yesterday and didn't have the chance to post. I agree he does need to go out on loan not just for the experience of playing week in week out for someone other than the U18's/Reserves but also to get away from his mates. He is clearly a huge talent but if he continues with some of the behaviour (which at times has made him more famous than his footballing ability) he can only be heading out the door.

Anyways any other good news since I haven't been on in the last few days?

I do not know of something like this has been posted before but I was wondering, if you had 1 ore signing to be made this summer excluding Ronaldo, Xavi, Messi and Iniesta because they would be impossible. Who would you sign?
I would have to go for Schweinsteiger. Would fit perfectly in our midfield and I could see him and Anderson having brilliant chemistry together. Btw I think it would be extremely hard to get Schweinsteiger so I would get Nasri if I couldn't get Schweinsteiger.

Also it seems Fergie is giving Anderson a big chance to prove himself this pre season so I can see him having a big season this year.
The Red Manc
Ps who would you get Ed? {Ed007's Note - I still need to say Sneijder, I have said him for months so I'm not going to change my mind now.}

SAF has told Nani that he is very much in his plans for next season. Seems missing out on Sanchez means no need to sell Nani? But I think the books will need to be balanced if we were to bring in at least Sneijder. Come to think of it I think a Left back to cut Evra some slack will need to be purchased too. I think that will be Izaguirre for around (£7m). So say we spend (£33m) on Sneijder and (£7m) on Izaguirre and add that to the current spend we have spent a very uncharacteristic (£90m). Outgoings are Brown & O'Shea (£6m), Stewart, Eikrem, Chester, Corry & Dudgeon (£1.2m), Gibson, Drinkwater & Kuszczak will be sold for around (£7m), I think someone will meet (£15m) for Berbatov. I like the player but think he is likely to go. Selling these players will bring the net spend down to (£60m).

Is a net spend (£60m) likely? I certainly hope so. We will probably be saving around (£60m) in wages over the next five years anyway, so it does seem that a (£60m) spend is possible, but will we need to replace Berbatov? Or does SAF see enough goals shared between Young, Rooney, Owen, Nani, Hernandez, Sneijder, Welbeck, Park, Valencia, Vidic, Fletcher & Giggs?

What do people think, is a net spend of £60m feasible? Will we need to replace Berbatov? Or is this net spend too high and can see Nani being sold too?

Sydney!
