Would anyone be happy to see ndidi potentially replace matic? Always been a massive fan of his, love his energy and his ability on the ball. Premier league proven with his best years ahead. Much premier these sort of signings instead of the big name, big ego signings.
Chilwell and Maddison look like decent players too. Vardy is another one I would be delighted to see at united. He may the wrong side of 30 but his work rate, desire and directness is everything we expect from lukaku. Vardy stretches defences and our team would look infinitely better with someone like him in it. His record against top 6 sides since 2014 is phenomenal. Think it’s 27 goals.
I’m not saying we should sell Lukaku. I am a fan of his and think he is going through a tough phase at the moment. Problem with him is when you don’t play to his strengths his deficiencies are amplified massively - his touch and link up play. He’s proven that if played to his strengths and given chances then he will score a hatful. The worrying thing is he looks extremely heavy and immobile. Slow and cumbersome. I watched a few clips of him today from the World Cup and he looked far leaner and his movement was brilliant. He needs to shed some of the bulk and get moving more. So static and it effects the rest of the team. He improved in the second half but it’s still not good enough when you are no 9 for Manchester United. I expect him to return to scoring form but he is not doing it enough in the big games. Hopefully he can bag a goal tomorrow. Extremely excited for the game!

Vardy plays off the shoulder of the last defender. Most teams defend deep against Utd. Not a good signing for us.
