Just been watching best of videos of Berbatov. God what i'd give to see him in his prime in this team. Would score for fun. Severely underrated and imo one of the best touches ever in world football. Genius that guy was and could make chances for himself. Merry xmas lads!

It’s great how we all have different options, see different things and reach different conclusions. Even the experts don’t ever agree, in the teams of the week in the papers one had Pogba in, another had Lingard in, no do you had Rashford in.
There are some posters I usually agree with, some I usually don’t, but that’s the beauty of this great game. Rashford is terrible, Rashford is brilliant. Pogba is world class, Pogba is a waste of money, we’ll always disagree: even up to the end Jose was splitting opinion on here.
Anyway, Merry Christmas to you all, wherever you are, whether you post or not. Thanks to the Ed’s for a great job, here’s to a much more optimistic 2019.

Big Pete is another legend but I’m not sure how he qualifies to be DOF other than having played for SAF (not that that qualifies you) . We need to be careful of sentiment here, after the Jose toxicity there is a desire to spreatore our core values but here’s a question: were they our values or SAF’s, or are they the same?
The attention to detail SAF brought, his ability to know the name of every staff member, the engagement with young players parents, the scouting of players attitudes as well as ability, the willingness to develop and trust youth, the focus on attacking and entertaining we’re all key tenets of the SAF approach. I think many of them are part of our DNA so whoever we recruit into senior roles needs to get that, irrespective of the footballing knowledge and experience.

It is very early days and I am not getting ahead of myself, but I personally hope OGS does well enough to get the job permanently he not only "gets" the ethos of the club he has lived it, it is a genuine part of his DNA.
