On the Pogba situation, I'm just wondering why some of these young players don't dream of becoming the next giggs, .
Perhaps it comes from them bein poached from other countries and them seeing clubs as a men's to gain higher wages.
If Pogba really rejected 22k then I personally wouldn't ever have him in the team as he is clearly not committed

So Tunners is back for rest of season. Hope he gets some game time. Maybe a response to Pogba rejecting? He is a player I can see signing on the dotted line without much fuss, if any at all.

I don't tend to comment on the Pogba situation, but if it is true that he has rejected a contract of 22k then i really hope that he gets lost. Let him run to Juventus where he won't get a game anyway, he's hardly going to be more popular than the likes of Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio etc.

If Pogba goes, then there goes the defensive/box to box midfielder that we grave. Not that i'm bothered, hopefully Martinez and Muniain will put in a great show against us (not good enough to beat us though) and it will spark greater interest in at least one of them!

So basically, if Pogba is being an @rse and leaves then i definatly think we need a young, strong box2box player. Martinez is better than Pogba is anyway.

pogba is 19 ,jones and rooney were both on more than 22k at the same age so united dont mind paying young players more, the reason they were on more is that they were better than pogba.
Now pogba looks a good prospect but is not as good as players like rooney jones owen etc at the same age.
his had a couple of chances in the first team and never really set the world alight.
now in the years to come he has every chance of becoming a great player but at the moment united have made him a good offer for a player who is only on the fringe of the first team.
if pogba thinks he is worth more then thats his opinion if fergy thinks his not well there will only be one winner.

I honestly think if fergy rated pogba as highly as pogba rates pogba united would pay him more

Danny

I read your post regarding how a club like United should be winning at home.

Just how many games have Liverpool won at home this season and how many points behind United are you?

So my question to you is-How sh!t are liverpool if they are 19 points behind a terrible team like United

From a utd fan young is useless. He doesnt run past any one and he keeps trying to do the same cross or pass and doesnt get past the first man

I've been looking at a few of the over posts and it seems most people are giving nani a fair old bit of stick. For me nani is a decent player who has the potential to be a match winner on his day. So I fail to see how he is the problem. I think you should question ashley young more. Like i've said before. He is pretty poor. goes missing in big games and of late not really performing against average teams. valencia is a far better player I think.

Nani is really starting to do my nut in! His decision making is terrible, how can people say he is an important player for us? Rarely beats his man and (when he does) he misses the perfect timing to put in a cross or play somebody in.

This is why i believe we were open to offers in the summer for him. He is trying to emulate Cristiano, when he is nowhere near as good.

Id rather play Valencia, Giggs, Young or even the twins than Nani at the moment.

All of them can beat there man on there day, Nani i dont think i have seen him on his "day" this season yet. We could easy get £25million for Nani.

What pi55es me off even more is the amount of Fans on here that continue to defend Nani by saying he is out of form. He has been out of form since the Community Shield game!

Im not denying that Nani is a good player, he just isnt good enough.

I very rarely post anything on here as alot of what I have to say is already metioned and I agree with it. However the issue surrounding Paul Pogba has angered me to such an extent that I have to have a say on it!

Here we have a young midfielder with undoubted potential who I have watched many times at youth level. I firmly believe he has all the talent, balance, touch and finesse to be a quality midfielder enforcer and passer for year to come at United. This is further enforced by the fact that Fergie has included him in first team squads to gain experience of being in and around the team on matchdays, and in training. Some on here say he should have been played here, there and everywhere against some sides. I do agree with this, but we are not the manager and do not know everything about what is going on at the club behind the scenes.

To be offered £22,000 per week, as reported, at his age at Manchester United, is a clear indication of how highly Fergie and the club regard him. To then turn this down is an absolute slap in the face to the club and Fergie, and shows a clear lack of understanding and vision some of these young players have for the future. Can they not see that by staying at a great club like ours they will play at the highest level domestically and in europe, have a chance of winning the trophies that matter, and be part of the long and great history of our club? I find it a very sad and disappointing state of affairs that the young players of today feel it their right to demand this and that without actually earning it by playing to the level required to demand the salary.

If I were Paul Pogba I woild look to players like Beckham, Scholes, the Nevilles, Butt, Giggs, even Ronaldo and see what I can achieve with hard work, dedication and respect for the club.

One thing is not in doubt though. No player ever will be bigger than Manchester United. With or wthout Paul Pogba, Manchester United will carry on.

I think we should buy Javi Martinez and Ander Herrera from Athletic Bilbao. I think they would give our much needed midfield a boost for next season. I would put an offer of around £40 million for both. What do people think

Liverpool have asked permission for their fans to bring flares to Wembley on Sunday. Apparently, last time they were there everyone was wearing them.

I was at the game last night. I was hoping Pogba would play a part.

However i think todays young footballers seem to be very greedy and expect too much at such a young age. Both Pogba and Morrison expect that they should be given more 1st team chances and appearances. It takes time and effort. Just because you were tearing reserve team fooball apart doesn't mean you'l do the same in 1st team football. They seem to some up some of the youth today, in 'i want it all now' culture. im not labelling every youth player or individual like this, but don't they realise that within 18 months they could have been 1st team regulars, maybe not all the time but 75% of the games if not more.

I do think that Fergie was abit naive not to play Pogba earlier on especially with so many players out injured and playing players in different positions. I mean he could have given him a few more sub appearances. The game against Ajax or even Norwich, he could have played along side Giggs/Scholes Carrick in between them so he's surrounded my experienced players to help guide him.

Pogba has clearly had his head turned by money. You cant blame the rooney saga for this, at the time Rooney was one of the best players in the world, whereas Pogba has only shown potential and not proven anything to anyone. £22k per week? if he has rejected this offer at 18 years old because he wants more, then he doesnt deserve a shirt and he can leave. There will always be youth with potential. If its playing time then its ridiculous as he should know fergie's policy of blooding youth in to the first team. At 18 youth should feel privileged to play for our great club and there are plenty who have been and plenty who will be, so if Pogba wants to hold us to ransom for whatever it is he wants, then he can f**k off. The Utd academy will always have youth with world class potential particulary now the rules surrounding the signing of youth have been reformed. I was a big fan before this and even if he does decide to stay he has a lot of convincing to do to get me back on his side

i find it a bit baffling how sir alex blamed the defence last night,i thought if it wasnt for them and de gea we would have lost the tie,the midfield was no-where,evans should have started with smalling with jones in midfield instead of park imo,i think its a bit harsh that some fans are going at cleverley,i think the only problem there is match fitness, from what ive seen this season, nani takes games against lesser opposition with complete arrogance and looks s**t but against the bigger teams looks brilliant and on a final note, and ive said it all season, david de gea is going to be some keeper, thats europe hes kept us in and won us points against chelsea and liverpool in the last 4 games not to mention games earlier in the season, the difference is in the last few games hes started commanding his area better and bollocking the defence which is great to see.

Why are people getting on the defence to nani how can you support him and say hes world class ?

He can hardly cross a ball, take corners or free kicks and hes a wide man ! i dont care if he scores spectacular goals every so often he cant pass!

Anyway was it just me or do united not test goalkeepers enough it looks like we are trying to walk the ball in to the net a few times against ajax welbeck hernandez and berbatov were coming in at good angles for shots and choose to try and pass it ?

it just reminds me of arsenal on there downfall when they started to try and walk it in and failed we need a goal scorer that can be effective against any team like benzema or higuain or cavani and i think we should go all out to get one of them three this summer also a holding midfielder like javi martinez who can break down play and get us on the counters that we are deadly on with maybe cleverley being pushed forward a bit more as our attacking midfielder if one is not bought in with young and valencia on the wings.

i think the perfcet 3 buys for us the way we play at the minute with our width would be

edinson cavani
Javi martinez
Kyle Walker

Then maybe Giovinco, Eriksen, Lodeiro or Xhaka

i said last week about young and nani not being good enough but got hammered for saying it. But after that game it looks like some of you have changed your mind. I'd keep young, decent back up. But nani would be third out the door after park and berb.

Thinking more and more about it I can see who Fergie's replacement could be in a few years when he decides to leave and for me it's gotta be Frank de Boer his playing style is quite similar he emphasises on passing and also he knows how to do well with youth players and helps them with the transition - for me he seems like the perfect replacement in a few years when he's racked up more experience but what do you guys think?
