Christmas is over and it's back to the usual business! United must make a good reception tomorrow, we don't want to lose silly points again at this time of the season.

Hoping to see Welbeck and Hernandez given a run, same with Smalling and Powell. Positive mood for tomorrow boys, lets back the lads as always!

Hope everyone had a great day and we will all have another great day tomorrow.

I think we will see a big score but the question is how many. No Tiote, Cabaye so their midfield is pretty ravaged and we should be feeding the strikers with lots of opportunities and pray they are not wasteful.

Would like to see a 4-3-3 today with Welbeck, Rooney and RVP leading the attack, with Carrick, cleverley and Powell behind them, highly unlikely though.

Just watching on MUTV the 99 treble winning side..how many world class players in that team compared to the team going into 2013?

Who thinks we dont need signings in January?

Teams like that don't happen very often. The midfield was tremendous and how many teams could have kept Sheringham and Solskjaer happy playing from the bench? I remember Forest away that season. Cole and Yorke had got 2 each and were subbed. Ole came on and scored 4 in the last 10 minutes. Stunning.

I don't rate him as a united standard player just yet but he could reach that level if he works hard, he likes to run at people and take them on which makes him dangerous although he seems have have an ego that could be hard to shift.

Personnally I wouldn't but could see a Liverpool or a return to spurs before us

given that all our wingers are playing so bad at the moment why not give bebe a crack couldn't do any worse.

Believable9 Unbelievable1

If Bebe gets chances he scores them, the problem is he struggles with the simple things in the game. If he had trained at football schools and clubs from a child he would be some player.

Sydney!

Agree7 Disagree0

To be honest I don't think bebe is that bad a player like syd said though he does struggle but to be honest it's worth giving him a shot in the team maybe against a lower team like qpr he may do quite well

Agree1 Disagree0

I have been following him in the reserves as I thought he was harshly treated by some of our fans and I have to say he has put in some quality performances and is still in his early 20's.... I think a wing pairing of Young and Bebe could do a job while Nani is out and Valencia is trying to find out where he left his ability.

i wasn't taking the mickey i genuinely would love to see the guy succeed. I don't get the hate for him, he didn't decide the fee and no-one in their right mind would turn down such a chance. Does he have a future though?

can't wait for the champions league when two of the most exciting attacks in world football, Rooney, Van Persie, Ronaldo, Ozil, Khedeira and Bebe will go head-to-head.

just hope ronaldo misses what he used to have here and wants to return.

Take advantage of the kids being down their nan's. I think it's a good time to play Newcastle. They have two strikers one of which wants out, the other will be out the door not too long afterwards. Both seem unhappy at the club. Then they have Tiote, Cabaye, Ben Arfa & the two Taylor's out. We will want to make up for wasting two points at the weekend. Perhaps a recharged Wayne Rooney will play better. He really has something to prove after his last performance.

Hope you all have a good day.

5-1 to us u reckon.

I see another 3-0 victory for us.

1.0 will do nicely, but I think the game will be similar to the Sunderland game. I think we will batter them in terms of chances created and possession, but be wasteful and Newcastle will give us a scare at the end. 3.1.

Sydney!

I can see Evra bagging another goal, Young and Carrick also on the score sheet, 4-0 United.

-JakeW

Agree0 Disagree1

4-0 for me, Carrick, Young, Evra and RVP all scoring. ;)

-JakeW

We will come back strong after a such a bad game against Swansea. 4-1 goals from Rooney, Rvp, Young and Clevs

Thinking about putting a Juicy bet down but scared given SAF team selections and expect him to start Scholes today.

Merry Christmas everybody.

Think my wife has done her part towards the Ronaldo fund as my stocking had a few bits from the United store!

Hope you all got what you wanted, have a great day.

Much love

Likewise, mate!

Except with my parents, a wife at 17 would be an odd one ;)

Merry Christmas!

MPez, If you were born in the dark ages or certain parts of Asia today you could be married with three kids at 17.

Merry Red Xmas to everyone. I hope Santa was good to everybody.

I had my first row with my wife at 7am after secretly buying my 4 year old daughter her first Utd strip, much to my wife's annoyance (we had originally agreed that my daughter could make her own mind up re football teams, my wife's a Liverpool fan!!). Ah well, sh*t happens. My daughter is now running round the house singing 'Glory, Glory, Man United'.

Who says subliminal advertising doesn't work?

Here we are everyone. Its christmas day. Admittedly I'm a self confessed Grinch but Merry Christmas to you all. Have a good day with your families and I'll see you all on the other side after you've scoffed whichever festive bird is served up for dinner. Big thanks to all the Eds too. Special mention for 001, 002, 004, and 007 for keeping this page going but fair play to every Ed on every page for the time they give up to listen to us ramble on.

With Luiz thriving in midfield for Chelsea does anybody think Jones could have similar impact for us if given a chance in midfield?

CR Mike

Believable2 Unbelievable7

You can't quite say that yet, the Villa team that played against Chelsea could of made it seem Giggs actually does have 2 more years left in him like SAF said.

Mate that same Villa team has been playing well actually, beating Liverpool. They were simply overpowered in midfield with fast and incisive passing by Chelsea.
