KLOOT/RAINFISH
You clearly have some very strong views/opinions on the Glazers and Fergie. You have stated that you" can't turn a blind eye to what is going on within our club" what exactly do you think your are achieving with your repetitive rants?
I think everyone would rather we were debt free but we aren't and it doesn;t matter how much you bitch about it it isn't going to change. You seem to hate Fergie -yet he has braught more success and stability to our club than most fans will ever remember.I have no doubt that he has things he would rather not made public but i am sure that so have most other people with his power and authority it goes with the territory.
Most fans come onto this site to talk football and wind up opposition fans but you just seem to want to bitch and wind people up with snide comments. You are obviously an intelligent man who knows a lot more about United than most fans but why do you feel the need to winge and whine on virtually every post you write?
Just because we don;t bitch about the glazers all of the time doesn't mean we are happy with the debt they have put on the club.

no kloot you caught me just fine. been a tough year for me with illness so I havent really been steady here.

I wont explain to you why I dont turn a blind eye but I dont. you seem hell bent on stoking fires be my guest. be good if you try and lay off the folks who do just enjoy the football and see more serious issues in whats closer to home.

maybe you know a lot more of the worst but im not naive. and I said it again im not happy for it. im not happy with our goverment our media

I boycott politics gave up sky dont own a tv didnt renew my season ticket dont buy from the merchandise no more. I do my part.

ive been on rallies, was at a few G8's what else do you want to know?
that I was one of those kids at school who stood up to bullies?

just had to move home for junkies who tried to rape a girl and nearly destroyed my life for me trying to stop them so forgive me if i get a little knarked at you showing me up as an on the wall guy.
In my opinion I think ive got a fairly balanced view point of saf. Hes a man like the rest of us. we make mistakes and one way or another we pay for them. but hes done good too rft. its just a shame you cant see it.

I dont know about busby cause I wasnt there. whos to say what he had to do to succeed. never trusted history books but if he was a man with complete integrity which I know saf isnt. then id wish it to be that way again. the world misses peers like that.

I respect some of your posts but some get my goat and probably always will.

I'd actually love Kagawa to come in. He's an unselfish player and can definitely pick a pass. Him and Pogba in a midfield two, Valencia and Nani on the wings with Young and possibly a new winger signed in the summer playing in rotation, Rooney pushed up. This would bring lots of fantastic play IMO

Did Dalglish really say the Champions League Final should never be in the stadium of one of the teams involved?

Maybe we should play all the finals at Anfield then!

Calm down Constantine. You've both got your opinion on the club
and SAF and both are respected by 99% of us on here.
We've all had a clash with RFT at some point, just chill.
The Moon.

Moon

I"m my own person, you should know that by now . Best stay out of it mate. support by your words apart from calling me blind(??) appreciated but let us just get on with it. I think it needed to be said for a while now.

although, i been getting the chill words thrown at me a lot lately. maybe i should take heed.

Mr mancity no name,

"Is this constantine condoning Alex fergusons dirty dealingsin which part did I condone bad dealings?
best read again mate:)

and as for your club. your right it seems double standards but at least i can say FOR SURE a lot of hard work has been put in to get us up there. spending hundreds of millions hard work?

it wasnt a question of ethics it was of respect.
but then those who have supported city for years and years may not care and love the stroke of luck, fair enough

its only an opinion I'd find it hollow

Not that their selections should be taken as gospel by any means, but the Guardian has our probable starters in midfield as Carrick and Scholes with Nani on the right instead of Valencia. Welbeck's recent form aside, Valencia deserves the start on the right and I believe that Nani should be deployed behind Rooney (similar to the final 30 mins of the Community Shield match in August) to add another body in the center of the pitch and keep Barry and Toure honest pushing forward. Cleverley or Jones might be able to provide similar reinforcements in a three man central midfield, but I believe Nani could cause some serious problems in the offensive half of the pitch with his ability to take players on in space and shoot with both feet. Just a thought. Nervous as all get out in anticipation of Monday, but I know we will prevail.

kloot dont think just cause i dont talk about it, I dont know exactly what your talking about. your a condesending t**t for it, who somehow thinks your tapped into the corruption of old trafford and the rest of us are lucky to have you to be so enlightened.

put in cons red and youll know ive talked about corruption in general in football. im not happy by it, but unlike you I dont solely judge a man on misdeeds.

Alex ferguson has brought a stability and success to our club that we havent had to yo yo like our red friends way down yonder or newcy or leeds of which maybe you cant appreciate but I care less. Lots of us do. its a dog eat dog world out there and hes survived it. In the system what is it you think someone has to do to survive so long?

I could go on about it but I won't its. lost on you.

I know one thing though. you aint as white as snow.

throws his son a bone as an agent? shock horror business men trying to make money out of old trafford :o

I really appreciate you opening my eyes rft.

and dont think ive forgotton that cringeworthy innocent question moment from you. difference between you and me I'll insult you directly.

I'll say again just cause all the posters dont get involved with you dont mean they are fools and dont know what your talking about.

get down from that ethics overseer comittee of one you put yourself on.

I"ll teach you something. if alex fell foul of certain people theyd bury him. you think the media the goverment are unaware of dealings within football? think they careless? if its in the public domain too much then something would be done. if not then nothing will be ever done. why because from top down the system supports its own corruption. its not going to change itself.

am I happy for it?
No.

can I appreciate what Alex has done in spite of it?
yes

and I hope most of us can too.

Do something about it or shut the hell up.

Why do you keep lying about United player's transfer prices? Tosic cost £8m, was sold for £9m. Carrick cost £16m. Do you even know how much United paid for Taibi? Yeah, I thoguht not.

RFT,

And what if he does have skeletons in his closet? Brian Clough, Bill Shankly, Jose Mourinho, Arsene Wenger, I'm sure they all do!
Unfortunately you don't get success without being ruthless.
The greatest sportsmen and women of all time will all have skeletons, you want to be the best, you gotta upset people and upset some authorities, it's not perfect but it's the way it is.

As far as I'm concerned, if it wasn't for SAF we wouldn't be where we are today and all I care about is United's success.

I see Constantine and Marky Mark are insulting me because I dare to suggest that Sir Alex may have some Skeletons in his closet. There are none so blind as those who can not see. Remember when the BBC made the same comments as me and Fergie through his dummy out until they apologised. No Apology and Fergie had to back down. Maybe just maybe i know exactly what I am talking about and don't just follow blindly like you two. When he leaves the club for good you can put me in my place but as he hangs on in some capacity or other then just shut UP until you know what you are talking about. I AM KLOOT {Ed001's Note - I am surprised you are getting any dispute about this subject, I thought it was common knowledge. It is not like he is the only one either. All of those involved in the show never chased up an apology despite their bluster. They are not the only ones either.}

A lot of people seem to have a problem with the fact that people say

"united should get this player because they have potential on football manager"

This is a valid argument.

At least Arsenal and Everton both have deals with the people that provide Football Manager with their player information so in a sense, professional football clubs do use Football Manager when scouting players!

I have a funny feeling Guardiola will be our next manager after he recharges his batteries in a year or two. I think Alex would love him to take over when he retires with the kind of football he plays and just think of the type of players he would attract to our club.
Hope it happens.

BIG MATCH PREDICTION.
it will be a thrilling end to end game , with a couple of goals for each side , the ref will have to work hard not to send a couple of players off , posts will be hit and you will be so tense you will have no fingernails left to chew , but after 90 mins it will be 2-2.
ps , but in injury time i can see a late pen , with john evans bringing down tevez in the box, with tevez, part time footballer/good golf player ,banging the ball into the net past de gea.i am never really wrong on predicting these big games , so have a little bet on it , you may as well make some dosh to ease your pain , as you will all be feeling a touch of the blues on monday night...............lfc

Guardiola - is he good or not?
For me, the emergence of Messi from under Ronaldinho's shadow when he left in 2008 was one of the catalysts for Barca's amazing run. Everything Barca does seems to go through Messi. I know he has superb players around him, but look at Barca in the last few games, Messi looks tired and worn out - Real are going to win the league and Chelsea knocked them out of the CL. Guardiola did not know how to break down Chelsea, he did not have a back-up plan. Barca are also bad at the back, but this is hidden by the fact that they maintain possession so they are hardly ever under pressure. The spanish league at the moment is very strange in that it is dominated by 2 giant clubs who play nearly everything through their respective star players - Ronaldo and Messi. Of the 2 I think Messi is the more influential on his team.
Ibrahimovic failed because he was too lazy, Guardiola messed up buying him. The idea was right, Barca badly need a big, strong centre-forward for games against teams like Chelsea, but Guardiola lost faith after Ibra and bought small players like Sanchez and Villa who are great players, but not centre-forwards. Barca are crying out for a Gomez, or a higuain.
I would not like for Guardiola to come to united if SAF suddenly retired. It would take him too long to adapt to the PL, and I believe he would try and change personnel and tactics, which is not a bad thing, but he would change everything too fast and we would implode.

Who would I like to see in-charge? Not Phelan! SAF should have brought in a #2 who could have been groomed to replace him, I think Phelan was the wrong choice in so many ways.
I do believe SAF could leave this summer if we win the PL, but I also think he will leave a team who needs a huge overhaul. Giggs, Park, Berbatov, Scholes, Carrick, Ferdinand, Evra - are all past their primes, thats 7 players who need replacing within the next year or two, that's a lot of pressure for a new manager, but also good in that the replacements will be bought by him so he can mould a team very quickly with players of his own choosing.

Hi Boys, the nurses have taken my wheelchair into the garden and given me a liptap, or is it a loptap ? anyway thought Id give you my thoughts on Uniteds season so far.

Fergie has been been very crafty this season. Bringing Scholes back was an absolute master stroke, but seriously isnt it about time he invested in a younger replacement, he cant go on forever?

Fergie as usual has been up to his usual tricks, firstly ensuring Suarez got a ban by dragging Evra off to the ref, then using his puppet master tricks to get the FA to ban him, one less team to worry about for the league battle, master stroke again.

The number of penalties awarded to United this season in CRITICAL games can only be described as farcical. His old pal Howard up to his usual tricks , giving 3 penalties against Chelski, now even die hard united fans must even be a little sceptical of a system that could allow this ever to happen.

They have the record for the highest number of penalties awarded at a home ground for the past 18 years, and wonder the rest of the UK hate united with a passion ? Overall the football from United this season has been woeful, which doesnt really stack up with the number of points accrued, again highlighting the awful decisions that have gone your way this season. Be honest now guys you know its true!

Its bad for the game as an honest spectacle when one single club can pull so many strings, we need TOTALLY IMPARTIAL referees to enable all supporters to be genuinely enthralled at the possible outcome of a football match. What we dont want is the knowledge, that should United be either losing or drawing, the puppet master with the red cheeks will either get Fergie time, a sending off or 3 penalties if need be. Considering the footbal your playing, is it any wonder you got booted out of Europe cos the refs were impartial ?

And before you start, this is not a bitter and twisted sour rant, its just my opinion as to how your seasons gone. OK Ive just had cabbage soup but thats not the reason either.

I personally would not like to be a United supporter cos I do not want the guarantee that refs will ensure success for my club. I want my team to earn respect as for example Barcelona or even Chelski in their latest Euro games, they have done well and are in the final purely on merit, not on string pulling.

Does that make Chelski better than United cos they are in the European Cup final?... no it doesnt in my opinion.

By exactly the same logic does it mean that United are better than any of the top teams cos their at the top of the table....well considering the helping hand theyve had this season ie NO Cup run, NO EUROPE in either competitions, MASSIVE help from refs....(again) the answer is decidedly NO. They are a decent team but they do not deserve to be crowned English champions, or grace the football stage of the European Cup or the FA Cup, the performances this season have been dire.

I will be honest, I for one hope City give you a good thumping next week cos they are the true champions elect, and if your honest with yourselves you know its true. I would like to wish you well but I cant cos its against my religion.

Times are changing and Fergie cant go on pulling his strings forever, Im afraid your glory days are about to end....it happens to all the top team. Start looking as the doldrum years guys, cos they are just around the corner. Or better still come and support Liverpool and experience the high and lows of supporting a proper team with no strings attached.

Ah well the nurse is just about to wheel me back in, as Im sure most of you would love to do, just hope my string vest doesnt get stuck in the wheels though.

Really hope we have a good summer in regards to transfers. Firstly I think we need a few defenders. A certain right back.. Talks of debuchy from Lille ? I would like to see fryers sign a contract and maybe drafted into the team next season and eventually be evras successor, if not I think alba or cissoko will be ideal to rotate all season with evra, midfield needs a major improvement. Modric is my first choice and maybe hazard to down the wing. Pogba will be drafted in when he signs a new contract. Few youngsters in and all should be good. Thoughts ? Rj92

I cannot really watch the reserve games here.
But whenever I read the articles on the United site, it looks as if 2-3 could make it to the first team.

I remember Diouf, he was very good for the reserves, not good for the first team, finally went of f to Hannover and has been in great form.
Same case with robert zieler.

Do you think could de Laet(from what ive read hes been amazing on the LW posn), or Petrucci or Keane are United quality ?
