Sobering truth, in the last two days i've watched two televised football matches that didn't mean anything and for all intents and purposes were played for entertainment value(although I do respect that soccer aid is for a good cause) and the sad thing is I was only entertained by one match and sad though it is Norway weren't involved in that match.

We must appreciate England aren't gonna win anything any time soon, so why don't they just aim to play entertaining football and see what happens. We play boring pragmatic football and lose everytime, mark my words we'll exit the Euros with a wimper as we always do. If we played end to end blood and thunder matches where were expansive and entertaining at least when we lose it'll be abit easier to swallow.

Superdecs

Believable6 Unbelievable4

Yes I bet he was watching it and he's now changed his mind because of a soccer aid match.
Really, what a stupid post. As if Seedorf was going full pelt, he is an absolutely class player still. One of the most decorated in Europe and I think has a CL winners medal with 3 different clubs! Crespo was class too but both are in the twilights of their careers.
Pogba has probably gone for a flimsy promise of a few extra grand a week and a chunky signing on fee. I probably would too if put in the situation, now let's move on.

Hi,

Just wanted to say that the advert for Asian Beauties.com on your website should be taken off.. As the girl on the site picture looks about 14 years old. It's very upsetting.

You may want to check your self.

Anyway apart from those ads, I think you sites excellent. {Ed007's Note - Eh..... everyone sees different ads mate. Google place them according to your area etc and your browser history, they have nothing to do with us. I suggest you contact Google about it. I have adverts for iTunes and some sort of internet game.}

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Adverts based on browsing history...interesting lol ;)

after watching soccer aid the best player on the pitch by far was Seedorf. He absolutely dominated the game and control it like he was a thermostat.

we should sign him to add to our midfield. i know that he is old but he is class, also he is available on a free trandfer after leaving AC Milan.

i think that if you put him and scholes together in midfield they will compliment each other with their passing abilities. them two will dominate any midfield in prem and it hopefully help us win the prem this year.

Believable4 Unbelievable6

OMG I just knew someone would come on and suggest we sign a player who took part in that charity match tonight (involving celebrity actors/pop singers)...yet I'm still gobsmacked!

Is there any chance that if we make a move we can sign Eriksen......Is there any chance??

I know Hazard is really good player with bright future...but i think eriksen would be a better player than him in the future....

RamoN 19

Believable4 Unbelievable3

I'll pretend you didn't just say that. Eriksen is still playing with a 'potential' label whereas Hazard is a year older but is already considered one of the best in Europe.

I'll put money on Eriksen being a 'nearly' player.

The Moon.

Agree4 Disagree4

Hey..its just my opinion....i know Hazard is way better and everybody expects hazard to be way better.but its just my opinion.....i just have that gut feeling..watching him play...i am a big fan of Eriksen's ability......and also i am worried about eden's attitude...

Completely agree with you RamoN 19, Eriksen is a great player and will only improve, I would prefer Hazard in terms of quality but Eriksen seems to have a good head on his shoulders....
HERBIE

RamoN - you're right mate it is your opinion and I think I went about things the wrong way in inputting my opinion so I apologize.

HERBIE - I think he's away with the fairies to be honest, he's so smug already. I think he's a good player but I think he'll be a player like Carrick, Arteta, etc. Y'know a very good player but never considered one of the best.

Looking at the potential players coming in.
It's all about squad rotation now, no 1st & 2nd best.
If we were in the Champs League final next year we'd have.

GK DeGea & Lindegaard - very strong.
RB Rafael, Jones, (Fabio) Clyne 2m - all one year more experienced.
LB Evra, (Fabio) Baines 12m - very strong.
CB Vidic, Rio, Evans, Smalling, Jones (M.Keane) - with no injuries it's very strong though Rio will need a replacement soon.
RW Valencia, Nani (Cole) - very strong with a good youth player to push through.
LW Nani, Young, Hazard 32m, Kagawa 15m, Park? - solid.
CM Carrick, Cleverley, Anderson, Kagawa, Jones Tunnicliffe, Petrucci, Powell 4m Fletcher, Scholes, Giggs - strong until Fletcher breaks down, Clev & Anderson get injured and Giggs & Scholes need replacing.
AM/CF Rooney, Kagawa, Hazard, Nani, Young - solid
ST Rooney, Welbeck, Chicharito, Macheda? (W.Keane)

That squad would be able to retain the title with a little luck with no injuries.

POGBA to stay ! You heard it here second :)- club have agreed terms with pp and agent . He never wanted to go . He loves it here . He wants to play and does not want to spend his career on the 1st team bench. Will be announced beginning of June also. Will be slipped in about time of new signings so we can play it down as a club. Unlucky Juve . Hope saf punches his agent when it's all signed up !

With the signing of Hazard and Kagawa, we will have a first XI of:

___________De Gea
Rafa___Small___Vidic___Evra
_______Carrick______X
Nani/Toni__Kagawa_____Hazard
__________Rooney

The main spot up for grabs when Hazard and Kagawa have been signed will be the spot next to Carrick in midfield. I don't think we need an out and out attacking minded midfielder, rather have someone who plays deep. Ideally we would get Martinez to make the perfect summer, but i think Strootman, Asamoah or Fellaini are the likely candidates. Cleverly, Fletcher, Anderson, Scholes of course will be competing for that spot also. SAF may make the decision that we do not need a central midfielder, especially if we sign Nick Powell.

Evra's position is safe under SAF i think as he values his experience. Vidic is a no brainer once fit, but Evans will start the season there whilst Vidic gets his fitness. Rafael and Jones will rotate and Smalling will compete with Ferdinand for the second center back spot. Carrick will be a regular starter and i expect Cleverly will be the first option to start alongside him. But the Cleverly/Anderson partnership will be given another go in some games but i think they should play in a midfield three with Carrick or Fletcher in there for cover.

The three attacking midfield spots could be anyones really, Young, Nani, Valencia, Kagawa, Hazard, Welbeck and Rooney can all play in most of the positions. Rooney will drop back into the hole if Hernandez or Welbeck plays dropping Kagawa to the bench. Kagawa will be trying to prove that he links well with Rooney and can keep our strikers out of the team. The right wing spot will be the most up for grabs though, Nani and Valencia will likely battle it out to see who gets it. Up top Welbeck will start more than Hernandez who will come on in most games as an impact player with Kagawa, like Ozil for Madrid, often being sacrificed.

For me, with just the signings of Kagawa and Hazard, these would be my three first choice line ups:

___________DDG
Rafa___Small___Vidic___Evra
____Carrick____Clevs
Nani______Kagawa____Hazard
__________Rooney

___________DDG
Rafa___Small___Vidic___Evra
_________Fletcher
______Ando_____Clevs
Valencia____________Hazard
__________Rooney___________DDG
Rafa___Small___Vidic___Evra
______Carrick__Clevs
Valencia___Rooney____Hazard
_________Welbeck

A few points worth noting are the partnership of Rooney and Welbeck being very good, but also the partnership of Valencia and Rafael down the right being very effective, Valencia and Rafael in particular may get the nod in the bigger games. Jones and Nani may play more together along the right...just a thought.

Here's a take on things. Do you think UTD already have their next manager lined up? Be it Guardiola, Mourinho, whoever.. The question must be asked by players/agents who are looking to sign. So wondering if the players we approach will be swayed by choice of Fergies replacement.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

United fans need to forget about Hazard. He constantly lies and he is hanging out for the best financial package possible. He has not agreed personal terms with the three clubs involved, he is holding City and Chelsea to ransom, he just doesn't want to be named a mercenary by the media. Jetro, Clyne, Kagawa, Strootman, Gaitan and Lewandowski are all within the realms of reality and would be an excellent summer.-MB-

Sorry if repeating others posts, just wondering about Hazards comments tonight.
"Dreams of playing the no:10 role and wearing the no:10 shirt on his back."
I wonder if that's smokescreen, throwing out more clues and hints. If it is utd he choses, the 10 shirt ain't vacant. Unless Rooney takes the now free 7 shirt. Just a thought!!

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Hazard will not join United.

Agree2 Disagree4

It's amazing how so many people can't bloody read.

Eden N.E.V.E.R said about the Number 10 ROLE or SHIRT...all he said was "playing time and position"...

The website states the Number 10 ROLE...not SHIRT. The shirt number is not mentioned anywhere.

MPez

Agree3 Disagree0

I think Hazard will be number 7 if he joins us. Rooney could be 9 if he had to change which I doubt he would.... and so he shouldn't.

Agree1 Disagree0

Why would Rooney take the number 7?
Please can you think about things before you post ?
Thanks in advance.

Walrus

Agree1 Disagree0

I'm sure I recall hearing Rooney saying that no 9 was his favourite number, so if he changes which I doubt, then I think it'll be to the no 9 shirt. If Hazard signs I'm pretty sure he will be number 7 and he will be played both wide and in behind the striker. Even when he plays wide I'm sure he would be given license to drift inside because we look to be going for a more fluid attacking style this season so I'd imagine seeing players switching positions more often.
