People are convinced we are going for rose in January, firstly levy will charge us a fortune, he's European cup tied and hasn't been playing regular football. I would be looking else where and l hope Jose is too.

It's rumoured that Pochettino can't stand Rose and will be glad to see the back of him, if its true then that's why he is not playing regularly, after declearing himself fit. It happen with Walker after falling out with Poch.

Gaya looks outstanding going forward but I doubt his defensive ability, and he has been used as a winger by Valencia in some games as is good in attack.

Afternoon.

Yesterday I sat and watched City for really the first time this season and what amazed me more than anything was their energy and press when they didn't have the ball. People will talk about their attacking flair but credit to their work off the ball has to be noted also. This is very similar to Barcelona under Guardiola.

I think defensively City are suspect and if teams can get at them and remain solid at the back they are beatable but teams will also have to match their work rate. United have plenty of energy and pace in the team but seem to drop in more than I would like and invite pressure on. I would like United to really go at City on and off the ball when we play them and put them under some real pressure to see how they can handle it. That is how I see City getting beat!

Spot on ports.

Show them too much respect anf they will beat us. Beat mentioned this too in that the only way to beat them. is to go at them as their defence is suspect but not been tested.

I've noticed that about City too. I wonder how they will cope in the final few months of the season if they stay in all the cup competitions. Pep doesn't rotate that much. Will they last the distance? And if not will anyone be close enough to captilise?

City my arse, they are beatable, they are suspect at the back if teams get at them.

Did we not all say that about the Liverpool defence? How did that work out again?

Its a massive match for us and them so we need to get in their faces and have an old school derby.

This City love in is making me feel a bit sick. They’ve won nothing yet.

Me too Eric, I think you should do a karate kick at the emtyhad and you could always blame the seagulls.

City’s average attendance this year is 53,000,capacity is 55,000 so hardly an empty ground. As for it being a City love in, like it or not the balance of power has shifted. Both Chelsea and City have moved ahead of us when it comes to being competitive for the League. Shout me down all you want but that’s how I see it. Their purchases have generally been better, and Chelsea’s ability to get big money when they sell is something else.

I watch City and it hurts to see the football they play. The pace, movement, directness, is (sadly) a joy to watch. Get over it.

Is that tickets sold attendance tony or actual bums on seats?

Because its looked a lot less than 53k there at times.

There's no 53,000 there every game.
A couple of years ago to try and fill the stadium for a champions league game they were giving buy 1 ticket get 1 free.
The balance of power will never shift a joke of a club with no history.
