Duncan Drasco slams David Gill for his observation that United supporters are "anti-people" if they hate the Glazers debt laden ownership.

"Anti-people"? Disgraceful comments from Gill. He sheilds the secretive owners for his own personal gain.

How did they pay off the 220m PIKs loan?

Why did they establish Red Football LLC in Delaware, which has the most secretive corporate ownership right sin the world?

Anyone wish to answer these questions?...I doubt it.

I await the comments of certain known Glazer sympathizers, that "their ownership could be worse", and "lets concentrate on the season" but the will probably will keep quiet.

So there you have it from the top at United. If you hate that your season ticket is going to the personal profit of Malcolm Glazer and his boys, you are "anti-people".

after comments made by sneijder after todays pre season match against man city i feel he is definately on the move, however i am also boosted in the fact that he quoted 'they are quite a good side'in regards to man city, this shows he knows there QUITE good and machester united are the best.

Sneijders reaction was to grin, and turn away. Like a kid who knows he got the raleigh chopper for xmas but only he knows if its blue or red. Nasri and di rossi who I think we sign but its rare to see the actual player to be asked face to face like that. What does people on here think?

Also, what is this nonsense about ''Barca's D team'' ? They still had a fair few playing who were playing in the champions league final, aswell as Thiago (who most people on here seem to rate pretty highly).
And we didn't exactly play our full strength side. Welbeck- 4/5th choice striker? Owen- 6th choice striker? Mama Diouf- 7th choice striker?
Some people have a very sort of, stuck up view of football, turning there noses up at anythiung which isn't total possesion and one touch, five yard passes. Well I don't care how much possession Barca had last night, United outplayed them.

Brace yourselves City have won a cup, in their eyes that will now make them the biggest club in the world and they have now won more silverware than us this year, yawn.

Have to admit however that Balotelli looks like he's playing to his potential now which isn't good. He looks a bit tasty on the ball. damn

I think I may be one of the only ones on the planet but I am extremely glad we don't play like Barca and Arsenal. It is the dullest football there is. I'd much rather watch Stoke, and that is 100% genuine.
Same goes for the Spain national side. Dull.
I loved seeing Barca tap the ball along the half-way line to the cheers of their fans only to be dispossed by Cleverly and 2-1 down within seconds.

Also, watching the game last night it was clear why we didn't beat Barca in the champs league final. We played right into their hands. We tried to pass the ball like them and keep possession. Nobody in the world can match them for that. What we should have done is played the ball wide and put crosses into the box like we did last night. United should never try and alter their game for any opposition. If they play the United way and only the United way can be just as unstoppable as Barca seem to be at the moment IMO.

Watching inter v city game and keeping an eye on sneijder. He doesn't look anything special at all, looks average playing against city, stankovic the stand out player for inter.

I think we should look elsewhere for a midfielder. Moutinho is fantastic at passing just unsure if he could hack it in the prem. Nasri and modric would be obvious choices but they are unlikely the reasons are well known. Maybe the answer lies in the form of a much untalked about player like goetze. Very technical, good with the ball at his feet, develop him into a star. If not that then we should look for anderson to step up a level.

With everyone posting that we should forget about WS coz hes greedy and wants too much money , i disagree.
Firstly the wage demands are not fact and just rumours so nobody knows for real. Even if true WS is looking for a good deal to suite him in which i think everyone would do if we were in his postion. Then secondly coz he appears to be doing this people saying we should tell him hes missed the boat and forget bout him, Wayne Rooney did similair thing to us this season and he got what he wanted so why shouldnt WS. People got to remember the likes of loyal players like scholes , neville, giggs are v.v rare now. All players just want to look after themselves and get best deals, which we all would in their shoes. Im confident that we may get WS but i wouldnt start posting do not bid for him coz hes greedy. The player is class and IMO just wants a good deal to suite him and all parties. TORQS

** Can we get this straight **
Lass Diara is a waste of space, he is not even over-rated because no-one with any football sense rates him. I would rather bring back Gary Neville and play him in a straight jacket than let him disgrace our club by pulling on one of our shirts.

ED Please can we have a block on this name being posted as a possible transfer Can we put it to vote. If we get so many agree's By the end of the day or something. Your call. Thanks in advance

I have watched the match again and it was such a good team performance. Welbeck, Cleverley, Smalling, De Gea, Jones & the twins are going to keep us challenging for many many years. I seriously do think we are stronger than last season squad wise, would like to see a central midfielder brought in to strengthen our first XI.

P.S Well done Dhoni, you are a true legend.

Thought we played really well against barc. Anderson, Cleverly, Nani and Owen looked really sharp.

However its wasn't agaisnta full strenght Barca side but i still think a DM id needed as Anderson would be given a free license to roam. Saying that i would love another AM too, but its tempting to give our youngsters a chance as its worked really well for us and we saved alot of money from having giggs, scholes, neville bros and butt coming through.

Sneijder seems like a greedy so and so, if we do indeed have to sell on and do this and that to accommodate his signing, surely we can look at alternatives.

"Hey lads relax a little . i know its only pre-season.but i was right about you not being better than last season .the players you brought in are good but no better than what they are replacing.you need flecth back in midfield.you need to buy at least one new m.f. if not 2 if flecth does not come back soon.i did not say your a bad team but you have work to do to fight us and city etc.......lfc"

'lfc', I don't really understand your point about the new players not being any better than those they're replacing. Surely Phil Jones ("the next Jamie Carragher", "the best young centre back in the world", "the future England captain" etc.) is an improvement on Wes Brown and John O'Shea? And surely Ashley Young is an improvement on Bebe and Obertan?

It was going to be impossible to replace VDS with a keeper of the same experience and ability because, in my opinion, he's been the best keeper in the world for the last two years. So in that department the team is weaker. But Sir Alex has definitely brought in the right man - De Gea. And now we are waiting for a midfielder to replace Scholes who didn't really figure much last season anyway. So I'd have to disagree lfc, I think the team and squad is stronger than last season's.

"I disagree, letting Barcelona pass the ball around aimlessly is in front of us is not them being on top..."

Well said sydney

we Wern't outplayed. Had a game plan, not exactly preferred system but we saw it through. we're an effective counter attacking team and utilised it well yesterday.

In terms of 1st eleven and 2nd it doesnt tell much i know. and you'd be fair saying it dont match the champs league but in terms of squad it told .

this is a win and I think it does matter. if we had lost then it would have mattered . can anyone say they didn't feel the rush when the goals went in?

it was competitive and if they did let their guard down through complacency or whatever well then advantage was took. this is no crawley town. the fringe players didn't let us down. theirs did. in the conditions set before us in 90 mins in a match in front of 60 to 80 thousand in a heat that should of suited them against the squad barcelona. we won.

could even say if barce have the best team well then weve got the best squad dammit, bragging rights and why not? take every crumb no? it all adds up. with the belief it gives to a few who are the future of our first eleven, and including our first team nani who was superb and anderson ect.

I think it really did matter. everyting is in place to hit the ground running when the season starts. with belief. I really am looking forward to the season.

and anyone still on obe's back WAKE THE F**K UP:)
youd be seeing fifty goals and 30 assists a season for every good winger if everything they touched came to gold. all it takes is one or two of countless attempts to come good for an assist or a goal. this kids got it in him.

ronaldo frustrating nani frustrating obe the same see a pattern?

Personally guys I very much would not mind if we didn't sign anyone else.
Looking at our first half cm, they looked solid both in attack and defense. Cleverly was outstanding in front of the backfour and Anderson in the firsthand looked impressive on and off the ball. He showed quick feet, strenght on the ball and always looked to carve open their defense.

I think that if another would sign it wud hinder the development of these two. I think they will start the season but if they fail to impress, we wil sign sum one young and already proven .

Happy we won last night even though the match didn't really mean anything. However, it is always good to beat a side of Barca's standard regardless of when it is. Nani was brilliant and I thought both Cleverley and Anderson played well too. Barca obviously didn't create too much in the way of chances but I was nervous everytime Thiago had the ball. He looks like he is going to be one of the best in the world, don't even see why they need Fabregas when they have him other than to increase their squad size. Anyways all in all a good night and a great tour.

Forget about sneider and nasri and focus on supporting Cleverley. Playing in a team of Uniteds class will undoubtedly accelerate his career and feel, he will become our version of Arsenals Wilshere and Chelseas McEachran. Most importantly he has come up through the ranks and understands all the history and importance of playing for our great club plus money will NOT be his motivation.

Hi Jwalk. (and every1 that missed the game)

We were on top for most of the 1st half and rewarded with goal......Welbeck feed Nani who timed his run to perfection (good ball as well) and nutmegs the keeper.

Barca started to get on top of the game in the seconf half and equalised through a thunderbolt from Thiago. Swerved big time. De Gea rooted to the spot.

We hit Barca on the counter a few mins later (about 76 mins I think). Cleverly feeds Owen and he races on and dinks it over the keeper. GOOOOOOAAAAALLLLL.

Owen then misses a sitter.

Final score 2-1. Nani was good. Cleverly did not look out of place against the likes of Iniesta. Very impressive.

Barca's youngsters are very impressive though. Constantly building players for the future.

Hope that helps.

We were questionabley outplayed for over half of the game but we've just shown that our kids can handle anything that the barca kids have to offer Cleverly and Welbeck - outstanding performances, and should 100% be involved more this season. Great result and the lads can use this to spur them on for the season where we can hopefully get the one more "world class" player Gill mentioned and triumph in Europe
