Loads of players who people would like in and out. This is my pick for what i think should happen sooner rather than later:

Out: Kusczack, Ferdinand, Park, Carrick, Bebe, Owen, Macheda, Berbatov and Macheda.

Ins: Briggs, Thiago Silva, Javi Garcia, Barkley, Iturbe, Cavani.

Promotions: W.Keane, Pogba, Morrison, Tunniclife.

Does anyone else think that Phil Jones is a perfect replacement for John O'Shea?

Their both extremely versatile playes who can play midfield or across the back four (i'm just waiting for Jones to get his chance in goals lol) and they do a very solid job in each position

It would be hilarious if Welbeck starts or comes on as a sub before Carroll on Friday. Carroll costs Liverpool £35m, Welbeck cost us nothing. It seems Cleverley has stolen Henderson's spot in the England senior side, he costs Liverpool £16m, Cleverley cost us nothing. Blair was saying a few weeks ago that Smalling was only called up because Martin Kelly was injured. Well Kelly isn't injured now and Micah Richards & Kyle Walker have been called up ahead of him, whilst Kelly is stuck in the U21's.

Seeing as we're debating the merits of Rodwell, which English player would you most like to sign under the age of 21?

You don't always need to spend big money to sign quailty players. If you can spot the talent early enough then nurture it you can get world class players for a fraction of the cost. We signed Ronaldo for a mere 12m and look how he turned out. How much do you think Jones or smalling would cost us if we signed them in their prime rather than as youngsters. We can and will be able to sign players in the future as most investors will appreciate that you need to speculate to accumulate. We won't be able to pay silly money but once the FFP rules are in full swing we'll be one of the few who theorectically could spend big, and if no one can spend huge fee's then fee's will come down. I'd bet that if Ronaldo's fee isn't broken in the next 2/3 years then it never will be under FFP. Beside if we don't/can't sign a new midfielder then the young lads coming through will have to do, players like Pogba, Morrison, Tunnicliffe, Cole and Petrucci. To be honest whether we buy or not the future looks bright with those youngsters. Bearin mind we could add Briggs, Barkley and Zaha to that list buy febuary;-)

Shappy

------------------------------------------------

For the record, we scouted both Ronaldo and Vidic. Houllier was going to sign them but their wage demands didn't fit in with LFC's wage structure at the time. You lot sneaked in at the 11th hour. Ferguson has never been able to get over the Glen Hysen debacle and ever since has always been in the shadows observing our scouting network with cheque book in hand ready to pounce. Once again another example of you being able to buy success as you have done over the past 20 years.

Im expecting to see a huge clear-out this summer, may see a few names leave in January. I'm not saying these players will definately leave/come in, just what i would hope to see.

Outs:
Berbatov
Macheda
Owen
Gibson
Evra
Carrick
Kuszczak

Ins:
Replacement for Evra - could be Baines, Izaguirre or Briggs.
Striker (Berba, Owen, Macheda out) - who knows? Gonzalo Higuain been recently mentioned. Likely to be young prospect.
2 Midfielders (Replacement for Scholes and perhaps Carrick?) - Barkley, Rodwell most likely options. Modric or Goetze could come in, unlikely though. Perhaps Kagawa, M'Vila or Martinez, but these are HIGHLY unlikely.

Giggs to retire, Rio is likely to retire soon if not, then sold?

To wats up fellow fans .. all these pool fans are gas 1st point is suarez is great player but not on rooney level as he is irreplacable for his club just like messi and ronaldo so just be honest with yaselfs pool fans.... 2nd point is Carroll isn mobile enough to make Jones look like a baby I can't even see him start for them as think gerrard be put in behind suarez .. I can't wait for game it should be good one we must give them a beat down no excuses this year lads ..
Ps who thinks welbeck is better Bet than chico at moment I do and I never tought id say tat but welbeck has surprised me how good he has been to step up this level fair play him I love see him score he kisses crest and tat wat it all about ...

"Yeah but look at the money you wasted on Bebe, Djemba djemba and Kleberson, Your club will be out of business in the next 5 years"

Ozone

Bebe is still a united player and could come good so saying he was money wasted is a bit premature the other two guys had a combined loss of a whopping 6 million.
If you really think that a 6 million pound loss on 2 players is going to put the biggest club in the world out of business then you really do not have a clue.

Do a bit of research fella before committing yourself to such a stupid statement.

'Ozone'

Lets start from the beginning for you. In February 2010 United paid off JP Morgan and all of the bank debt with the £500m bonds. In November 2010 the Glazers paid off the PIKs in full, this was made public knowledge via Companies House. So United's gross debt stands at £458m, this is all bond debt. But the Glazers have a master plan, they want to float up to 30% of the club on the Asian market (This is NOT a loan). They want to raise £600m. If they use some of this money to pay off the £458m debt, then United will be debt-free. The only change would be that the Glazers will only own 70% of the club, the other 30% will be owned by investors. But Manchester United as a club will be DEBT-FREE. But to be fair it's unknown whether or not the Glazers plan to pay off all of the debt. They may decide to pay off half or three quarters of it. They may decide to pay off our net debt as oppose to our gross debt? We simply don't know.

Hey Ed,

Do you think we have a legitimate interest in Jack Rodwell, Jack Wilshire and Ross Barkley?

Rodwell seems to be maturing his passing and tackling are good. If he has an injury free season I think he is worth a shout.

Wilshire will wont out of Arsenal if they continue on the path they are on. I think he would be an ideal player for united.

Barkley looks an immense prospect he seems to have qualities of both Rodwell and Wilshire.

GloRed {Ed002's Note - Perhaps Rodwell.}

Hi Guys
I actually thought I'd come on the wrong page over the last few days as there appears to be more and more Liverpool fans on here than on their own page.
They seem to be pinning everything on our match on the 15th which tells you everything really. That game IS their season for us its just another game.Don't get me wrong it will be great to go their and humble them in their own backyard. The last couple of seasons suggest that Kinky Kenny will get them so fired up for their big game and play out of their skins for 90 minutes and then reality will set in the following week.We need to get Vida back and maybe Smalling as Valencia is wasted at right back. The bottom line is regardless of the result on the 15th Liverpool are still miles behind us and thats a fact.

So on the 18th of October while the rest of us are in Europe, Liverpool have had to settle for a friendly with Rangers to make themselves feel better.

"you lot really are in trouble if your revenues dip"

Our revenue rose by £45m in one year, that is excluding the DHL sponsorship, the Mister Potato sponsorship and numerous telecommunication deals which exceed a further £20m. Our Nike sponsorship deal is up for renewal in a year or two and it will be a record breaking deal worth an estimated £450m over ten years. So don't worry about our revenues mate, our revenue next year will be around £350m+, your revenue will be around £160m. So if I was you, I would give it up, I will make you look foolish.

Sydney!

-----------------------------------------------

You've got no chance of making me look foolish with your nonsense lad. You can have revenues of £900mill if you like but if your overheads are 90% of that you aren't left with much.

Its like me going down the pub and boasting that I earn £100,000 a year. Well if my mortgage costs me £7000 a month, Im not left with much am I.

Do a bit of research on the bond issue and economics before you commit yourself to your bold statements Sydney lad.

Ozone, you are clearly out of your depth here son, if the Glazers sold shares in United and paid off debt all of our debt, then we would be debt-free. All it would mean is the Glazers will own 70% of the club and investors will owe 30%. But we would be completely debt-free.

Sydney!

That has to be the most upside down statement i've ever seen. So you just think that the bond investors give you the money then Sydney?

Believe it or not mate, the bond holders will require a return on their investment, it just so happens it will be on different terms to those you have currently with your loan facilities. The Glaziers clearly think that the bond issue terms are more favourable to your business model and the short term economic horizon.

I can assure you, its nothing less than casino economics. Your owners are just trying to obtain a more rigid grasp of costs and trying to roll with the punches the current economic landscape seems to be dishing out.

How's you Ed007 mate? Do you now think that the board, should discuss Lennon's future? If so mate, how far would you go i.e sack him, give him a few more games or give him to the end of the season, no matter what?

Cheers

seems some guys are starting to lose faith?
purely from the liverpool fans bleating about big fat andy 'the drunk' carroll. liverpool have not got a prayer, vida will be back. hopefully cleverley too.

there is not one liverpool player, who cannot be handled. suarez is overrated imo. andy carroll has only scored 1 goal this season, and has piled the weight on. No threats from the wings either, only winger they have is downing. And the rest of the team are absolute pants.

a lineup of this would ensure at least a 2 goal lead:

de gea
smalling jones vidic evra
cleverley anderson
nani rooney young
chicharito

go back to your own god damn page and bleat to somebody on your own level, i for one couldnt care less what the liverpool fans THINK the score is gonna be. i KNOW my team isn't gonna let me down come 15th!

Andy Caroll isnt gonna be the only pissed one at anfield, once you guys get a thorough battering.
