They said Ronaldo was past his best before this season, well 43 goals in 42 games later (as it stands) and think that was a premature statement, nice to see him in fine fettle to stop Armageddon at the end of May.

Wrd. Ronaldo is superb. I would love him back at united. Btw, el classico is descending into a farcical match of fouls. Shame. Bale is the most overrated player on the planet. How is he still on the field after two ridiculous challenges. His first touch is laughable.

Suarez with clear foul on Verane for Barcelona second goal and referee allowed play to go on. Its pathetic refereeing.

06 May 2018 21:10:39
One thing we've got to perfect is to dive every time we lose the ball. I have seen Barcelona do it for years and City are perfecting the art too. The refs seem to fall for it 9 times out of 10. It is quite frustrating to watch i have to say.

Did anyone see the Marcelo penalty call? It was a penalty but the ref never gave it, looked like the ref assumed it was a dive but never gave the yellow card? Officiating has been shocking in this game, and the cheating, diving etc, takes the shine off this game at times. Good thing we get to see great Leo to cheer us up.

Ronaldo is past his best;in that he has peaked, he still has moments of brilliance and he knows how to score but I’m not sure how much longer he will go on.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 May 2018 09:50:23
I think he has adapted himself Tony. He’s not going to really beat a man like the Ronaldo of old and that I think has been a problem for Real this season as they haven’t really had anyone to pick the ball up and make something happen. But man Ronaldo has adapted himself into a goal machine and best finisher in the world. He just knows where to be at the right place at the right time. Would still take him back as he still scores for fun. Real need a winger as Bale doesn’t cut the mustard anymore. A hazard, salah or even a Dybala would transform that team and give them some much needed new blood.

Congratulations Cardiff on promotion, WORNOCK he's marmite but the prems going to be more interesting next season, personally i love him but then again I'm a townie ( from Sheffield)

Can't stand the bloke or the "style" of football he promotes. Nothing against Cardiff, happy for the fans but having a brutalist like Warnock back in the Premiership makes my heart sink a little bit. Still, he might not be the manager come the start of next season. You never know with football.
I'm gutted for Fulham, they fluffed their lines big time yesterday. Really hope they can get through the play offs. Got a sneaky feeling it will be Boro though, which would be ironic with Stoke and probably WBA going down. Not a Pulis fan either.

Has Pep become a poor manager after today's result at home to a newly promoted side? Did he not motivate his players?

We lost to this newly promoted side when chasing the title they drew after winning it, wonder who is the one who is more happier?

CSM buddy are you a closet City supporter? When was the last time you supported the team?

Agree1 Disagree8

06 May 2018 18:51:45
You should join in bashing the players instead, CSM. That's what real fans do.

Agree3 Disagree1

06 May 2018 19:18:19
Real fans don't bash the players when they give their 100% and real fans don't fly Jose out plane banners either.

06 May 2018 19:27:09
Really guys. Our legend is fighting for his life and all we can do is bicker with each other? Csm didn't say anything controversial, so no need to bite his head.
Truth is neither Mourinho nor Pep are bad managers. They're both very good managers. Pep has done the better job this year as his team has been head and shoulders above the rest. So, let's congratulate them on their excellent season and work towards closing the gap next year.
But first and foremost, let's hope the battle Fergie has can unite us all to wish him a full and speedy recovery.

So devastated. Feels like a loved one in my family is sick. Amazing how a person I’ve never had the honour of meeting has given me so many of my happiest memories. Watching the videos on twitter and tributes reflects the greatness of the man. I’m only 23 so the success we had under him was all I knew. He’s a fighter and there is still plenty of Fergie time left. Stay strong and keep fighting gaffer because there is still plenty of time left to play.

Just like the Busby Babes and Sir Mat before him the boss will never grow old, he will never die, he will never be forgotten for just like them he will play on in the hearts of everyone who witnessed their genius.

Amazing to read all the tributes, especially from other fans, football often divides but it can also unite and I'm sure he and all his family will gain strength from everyone's prayers and well wishes.

Get well soon boss the whole world is with you and whilst the clock still ticks we know you'll find a way 🙏.

He's influenced every one of us. My son who is 35, only knows United under Fergie. He is not just a manager. He taught us all about success and how to handle people. The man is a true genius.
I've cried when my parents passed away and when my children and grandchildren were born, but this morning, i shed a tear for Fergie. Hope he comes through it. And thank you to other team fans and to all the eds who have expressed their good wishes.

Woke up to terrible news about the greatest manager in PL history fighting for his life after a haemorrhage.
As a Liverpool fan its times like this we put our alliances aside and walk together in our thoughts and prayers for SAF.
I wish him well and hope God can give him a speedy recovery.
My thoughts and prayer's to his immediate family and to every Man. Utd. supporter who must be hoping for the best outcome.

Thought and Prayers for The Boss (Sir Alex) . A legend, icon and massive influence to every United fan in existence.

All the words, actions, passion from the fans etc. in the world doesn't even come close to stating in everything he did for this club. He is the greatest of all time, the man that took Manchester United from a underachieving team, revolutionised them into becoming one of the biggest clubs in the world today. Without Ferguson, Manchester United would be still a afterthought today, infact I don't think you could imagine a Manchester United without Sir Alex.

Let hope he has one big Fergie time left within him and *fingers crossed* he pulls out with a late winner.

Thoughts and Prayers to Sir Alex, Family, Friends and The Club.

Thoughts and prayers are with him from my family and I. He is iconic to the world of football and I am sure well respected all over the world.
Get well you fighter and we still want to see you visiting OT for years to come. God bless you and help you with a speedy recovery.

Echo that entirely. I’m only 21 so you can imagine that he’s been there my entire life as my hero. Very emotional reading, but he’s a fighter and will pull through.
