Ed you mention he needs a ball playing cb next to him to accommodate for his rashness. I think lindelof would be that man. He is exactly what united are crying out for. I would love us to sign him.

Personally I would see him as better alongside Lindelöf simply because Lindelöf is happier on the right side of a centre-back pairing and both van Dijk and Koulibaly play on the left side.}

Thanks Ed. It sounds like he's the closet thing to vidic in the current game and would be a massive improvement on Smalling/ Jones. And lindelof would be good next to him as he's good on the ball. But is he what we're looking for? I thought Ole was after another ball player?

I wasn't sure on him before, I'd not seen enough on him to go either way but I'm more reassured now.
Could we bring him in this summer and move Rojo out, loan Tuanzebe to a lower prem side then next summer move on Jones and Smalling promoting Tuanzebe and bringing Diaz in?

I think we have kostas manolas as number one target and closely followed by Koulibaly.
We might still have an interest in milenkovic but i i think we would go all out for manolas or koulibaly.

Imo Skriniar koulibaly and deligt are all better than our current selection. We need better not more of the same. Can anybody tell more about manolas. Any closet roma supporters out there?

Koilibaly and skriniar are much better players than manolas, but I wouldn't sign skriniar as he lacks pace and we shouldn't have 2 CB's lacking pace. De ligt has potential to be better than the first 2. Manolas is a bargain basement signing, something that is expected from the American idiot in charge.

Manolas is a fast and powerful defender. Stong in tackle but reckless at times.
Imo he is better than Smalling and Rojo.
Ed001, if you have watched him, can you please shed some light on him?
{Ed001's Note - I have added him to the player profile list, but I think you undersell his reckless nature to be honest. He is quick, strong and powerful but exceedingly reckless. It is a surprise he ever gets through a game without a card or two.}
