It seems Nani is close to agreeing a £10m move to Juventus. I would imagine Young would sell for a similar amount. Hernandez for around £15m. Anderson perhaps £5m. Who else could go this summer? Will Kagawa go or will he be retained for one more season? I think Kiko could join Leicester, Wigan or Burnley. Someone like that. Bebe will be sold. Cleverley is wanted by Everton if reports are to be believed. Seems he could be following Gibson in the same fashion. With Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic & Giggs leaving there will be a lot of space in the squad and on the wage bill.

So there's probably a good £50m worth of outgoings this summer if the likely outgoings are sold.

Cleverley I think will actually fit into a 4-3-3 so will probably be retained. I'd keep him over Fellaini anyway. Can you see Fellaini going?

Agree0 Disagree0

Fresh, I cannot see Fellaini being sold this summer, perhaps the summer after? I think Cleverley fits too, but he is slowly being forced out by the fans just like Gibson was. I think it is also effecting his performances and I don't think he's strong enough mentally to deal with it. I think if we sign say Kroos and Carvalho and Kagawa stays, which is possible. I am not sure there is a need for Cleverley, especially when there are midfielders in the U21's that can do a job. But more importantly I think fans have made it unbearable for him now at MU and he may choose to leave.

Agree0 Disagree0

I just can't see Anderson being sold. He has been awful in Italy, and I can't think of any club foolish enough to pay him anywhere near what we currently do. I'm also a bit concerned that we haven't heard anything about Young being sold.

If your right Sydney perhaps we could loan the £50 million to the Bitters to pay their fine.

Agree1 Disagree0

Danny, I think MU will accept lower amounts than they usually would due to the massive spend that awaits us. Young is a decent player for a club like West Ham or QPR (if promoted). Anderson I'm sure would fetch around £5m. He's still a good age. AVB seems to be a fan of his, perhaps a move to Zenit in the summer?

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd sell Kagawa only to Dortmund if we get Reus/Hummels in return. Otherwise we are better off keeping him.

Agree3 Disagree1

Up to 17 players could be available I think. If anything our team would be stronger for it as we would replace apt of the dross with youth players. Lindegaard, Amos, Ferdinand, Vermijl, Buttner, Fletcher, Cleverley, Fellaini, Young, Nani, Valencia, Kagawa, Zaha, Kagawa, Anderson, Bebe, Macheda and Hernandez. I think all of them have their price.

Agree1 Disagree0

Honestly Cleverley might be the right type of player for the 433 system and he might play better than he has before but he's still a very boring, unimaginative player that lacks decent ball skills, he has to go!

Fellaini will stay one more season I reckon.

Like you said Sydney, depending on the players we sign I would hope Kagawa stays, I think he could be a better player than Mata in the 10 position if he had a decent defensive and creative player behind him.

As for Anderson I heard he's got a dream move to Nandos, where he'll have a key role taking the cooked chicken from the oven.

Agree1 Disagree1

I think there is zero chance of Fellaini Kagawa Valencia Cleverley Young etc going until LvG or next manager comes in, I think we'll be lucky to get a cup o'sugar fro Nani and Anderson

Agree0 Disagree0

Syd I believe a more pertanent question would be. If anyone wants them.

Agree0 Disagree0

So you think we will sell these players and bring in possibly less, that makes sense!
Some of those players we will keep as we can use them as squad players.
We need to add quality, no have less players in total.

Agree0 Disagree1

We don't need as many players as we have now.

Agree1 Disagree1

Without any European football we will not need such a large squad, ideal time to allow fringe players to leave and use more of the youth team for league cup and as cover.

Agree2 Disagree0

Don't forget welbeck heard we might get 10p for him from arsenal
(hope so I will drive him there for free)

Question for ed200 .who are our cb targets?Gary, mangla, marten en. Cheers guys

Believable4 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - It is difficult to say right now. Previously Mangala and either Ginter or Hinteregger would have been the ideal centre backs but all three are looking like they are heading elsewhere.

Hello eds,

Is there any united interest in Inter's Kovacic? Thanks.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - No. Although a representative of Mateo Kovacic said that the player cannot perform under Walter Mazzarri and he would be ready to consider offers from certain clubs (effectively Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich or any of the major London clubs), the player has backtracked from that position

I think he will be very very good an hope we get him.

Eds, the forgotten man, Anderson, is still on loan at Fiorentina but is he likely to go there permanently or is there interest elsewhere?

Not exactly played a huge amount for them so I have my doubts as to whether we'll be lumbered with him for another year or two

Believable4 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - He is not forgotten, just a player out on loan. Fiorentina could buy Anderson if they want - I suspect they probably won't as they are looking elsewhere.}

Hardly kicked a ball out there hasn't he so he appears to be rubbish in Italy too
