Rumour has it that we are preparing a compensation deal to Dundee for Scott Allan in January. I know there are a lot of Scots on here so does anyone know much about him as I hear hes only made about 5 senior appearances.

I think you mean Dundee United, also i would say he is a decent player with a lot of potential, whether he is Manchester United quality i am not so sure.
Apologies, I did mean dundee united and I hope I didn't offend any fans! I've heard that Jamie ness is a better prospect to be honest.

He certainly has plenty of flair and looked impressive for the scottish U21 side against Austria but he didn't command the midfield area as the two opposing Austrians did. United need a midfield player that can organise the whole of the midfield and get them playing as a unit (as Barcelona do). They do have many promising and talented individuals but noone with the bark to marshal then, as Keane and Robson did.
