That tackle from Davies was shocking, not even a yellow, terrible refereeing.

It's bad news lads, Cleverley on his Facebook:

"want everyone to know I got no apology from Kevin Davies! season could be over and received no apology."

Sydney!

Believable14 Unbelievable7

Well if that is the case i retract my post defending Davies earlier. To not apoligise to a fellow professional when you injure them is a disgusting way to behave. I injured a lad playing football when i was 11 and i went straight over to apoligise, to not get that from someone who is 20 older is shocking.

I cannot get over Coyle shouting at the ref for blowing up for a foul. I used to like Coyle, he has eyes and must have seen his players trying to injure ours. I had him tipped for a future United manager, I doubt he will be now.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Clev is probably tellin the truth, kevin davies is a brutal scumbag, he defo should of been sent off, he should be sent off nearly ever match. clevs first proper season in united colours if over. its an absolute disgrace he gets away with far too much.

Aaronaldo7

Agree0 Disagree0

Kevin davies does my head in!! he should be banned for 3 months minimum...every single match i see him play he throws these kind of challenges in and nothing happens........it was a blatant red card end off and he didnt even get booked or a caution fs!!!!!!!

Its time to start protecting players a hell of a lot more......i feel sooooooooooo sorry for tom i really do, hes had such a start to the season and his partnership with ando was just starting to blossom

wish him a speedy recovery!!

could this be pogba's time to shine??????

Robbo

Agree0 Disagree0

OK it was a bad tackle which has become worse with the injury sustained should have been a booking but a red card - no fecking way. Agree that Davies should be sent of most games but normally for 2 bookings not reds, he is an old fashioned player who goes in strong.

Feel really sorry for tom as have been raving to all those i know for the last 12 months or so about his potential and wish him all the best in recovering as quick as possible.

Paso

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sorry, but whether there was intent or not, this is the guy who was saying that Bolton were effectively going to rough United up and he ends up breaking a young lads foot. I bet he's really proud of himself this morning.
MDJ

Agree0 Disagree0

Bad tackle yet but jonny evans tackle on holden last season wasn t great sometimes people get hurt and this was the case for tom cleverley and stuart holden massive united fan

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly the reason we neecded sneijder!
MaccaTheRed!

Agree0 Disagree0

Macca did we need him so he would be on the injury table instead of tom? Enough with the sneijder love if our lads haven't proved that he would have been surplus to requirements then what do they have to do? Win every game by 5-0? We are playing great football at the moment even with a midfield of carrick and ando for most of yesterday we got an amazing result.

And yeah bolton were strong in the tackle yesterday but excluding the time Wilshire played for them when during their premierleague life have the not been?

Some people onn here are overly sensitive when it is our boys who get knocks from hard tackles but how many during the summer were asking for a midfield hardman to be signed - de rossi/diarra anyone?

Paso

Agree0 Disagree0

That Facebook account is fake, Kevin Davies has spoken to him after the game.

Hobbes

Agree0 Disagree0

Was a fake account

Agree0 Disagree0

To the guy dat said about evans tackle,
he was sent off for his, the reason everyone is kickin up a stink is because kevin davies got away with the one on tom and he gets away with far too much and nothing ever happens but if it was wayne rooney for instance the papers would be all over it (eg the mccarthy elbow) its totally unacceptable.

The Liverpool fans are on this site, but they are not posting because they have no ammunition to post anything. We know they are looking at our page because they are clicking the 'disagree' buttons.

Don't worry lads, you still have the Champions League midweek, oops, no you don't. I guess it's Big Brother for you lot.

Sydney! {Ed007's Note - Surely they aren't skulking in the shadows ;-)

Believable27 Unbelievable5

Sorry Sydney and Ed I have been out drinking and taking in some fresh air.Well played to both of your teams.
Redeyedhector YNWA {Ed007's Note - Kudos on turning up mate. Now untie Blair and take his gimp mask off to let him face it.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey, what's the point in playing all those champions league games, only then to get flattened by Barca ... I'd rather watch BB. {Ed007's Note - Check your TV guide, you can watch both. Although anyone who wants to watch BB probably isn't allowed the responsibility of operating the remote control.}.

Was thinking if Cleverley is out for a while with what looks to be a broken bone in his foot, could this mean Paul Pogba could make his debut sooner than expected? I hope so!

Ozwald

Believable10 Unbelievable2

It would be nice but i doubt it, Carrick, Fletcher, Giggs, Gibson and park would all likely be used before Pogba. Sir alex will play him when he's ready.

Anybody know the status of Clev? Please tell me Fletcher is ready, not crazy about Carrick.

Believable5 Unbelievable2

He thinks he's broke his foot but the results of the scan tomorrow.

Walrus

Agree0 Disagree0

Fletcher is ready, he was given a little rest by SAF as he has played 180 minutes in a few days. He will replace Cleverley against Benfica and possibly Chelsea.

Sydney!

A broken foot would show up on the x-ray tonight surely? hopefully it's just bruised and he'll be back in a few weeks.

Pretty convinced Evra's last year as a regular starter. Still will help us as a squad for leadership.

Believable12 Unbelievable2

I don't know whether this is criticism from you about Evra but i think he played well against bolton, always puts in so much effort! great fighter on the ball too, that's what we like..

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a great player but don't deny his pace is slowing down and that his age is getting to him. Not saying that he isn't a good player but our youth soon will surpass his abilities.

Manchester United are set to up the
ante in their bid to sign Croatian duo
Mateo Kovacic and Mario Situm.
United scouts were recently alerted to
17-year -old midfielder Kovacic -
labelled " the new Messi" - and 19 -
year-old striker Situm, both of whom
play for Dinamo Zagreb.

sorry for cut-paste..read this in bbc site..how gud are the players and how authentic is the news;)

surz {Ed007's Note - It has been doing the rounds all day, how true it is I have no idea, sorry.}

Believable3 Unbelievable1

There are so many young players labelled as 'the next messi' it's stupid!

I honestly hope we renew interest in Xherdan Shaqiri, he looks a real talent! He's much more stocky and suited to the premierleague than half these other wonderkids

Ozwald

Agree0 Disagree0

Tosic and Ljatic were similarly touted and look what happened to them

Red Man

Agree0 Disagree0

I hvae seen theese guys play the kid labeld the new messi is fantastic when you see him play you can understand why he is labeled the next messi he has very similar atributes 2 messi hes faster than messi he controlls the ball well at his feet can even use his head 2 score goals has a good shot on him bhe will be as gud as messi within 3 years
THE HEMMINATOR

Agree0 Disagree0

'Red Man'

Llajic is a talent, but we couldn't get a work permit for him. Tosic never put on any weight and was not suitable for the PL, not at our level anyway.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

I read a similar article. Simply, SAF sent a United scout to watch them play. Nothing about a bid but interest. It is believe Wenger sent a scout also.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sydney

If Ljatic is a talent where is he playing at the moment? A top club? Also do the board who decide that not take into account such an emerging talent?
Utd saw he hadnt developed and decided not to take the option up on him.

Many players excel at a young age then dont make it

Red Man

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Red Man you do kind of have a point, i think if United would have pushed they'd have got a work permit for Llajic, i think they just didn't fancy him after Tosic and used the work permit thing as an exscuse to get out of the deal.

Laljic plays for fiorentina, a respectably good team who play some very nice football at times. He is the recent playmaker in their team, and he has looked a bit tasty at times. He may yet become United class with the right coaching and bulking up.
