Ed002, could u inform us of who in your opinion man utd will make bids for in the remainder of this window? Every day I check for Vidal but I'm starting to think that maybe that ship has sailed

{Ed002's Note - I am not in to the crystal ball stuff but there is interest in a centre back (Hummels is looking unlikely, but Benatia might be worth a thought), a midfield player or two (Vidal and Blind might be worth researching and a wine forward (we have done Di Maria to death).
Thanks for the info Ed! Much appreciated :)

Ok cheers ed, I appreciate it, I think benatia, Vidal and blind would be great, I'd love di Maria but at his price I'd rather have vidal

Thanks for the update

Mmmmmm wine.

Varane would be a nice signing too - have we show any interest in him?

{Ed002's Note - No.}
Wow cheers ed! It's fairly noticeable you only keep to facts identifying where interest is, and never offer opinions / predictions. Is the reason because of the hassle you get in response from us fans?.
Agree2

{Ed002's Note - It is really because I can share what I know regarding interest in players, but anything else would be no more than conjecture. If I give an opinion someone will take it as gospal.}

boca utd, Ed002's quotes are spun and regurgitated on this site until the bearley resemble what they were in the first place, this I believe is why he/she only deals in facts and doesn't offer a personal opinion/prediction on events that may or may not happen (see I just done spun one here lol)

Apparently we have bid 15.9mil for Marcos Rojo from sporting lisbon

Wouldn't the "wine" player you mention be Riojo? :)

Ed, I noticed you didn't mention Cuadrado in your comments above, doesn't he belong in the "interested players" category?

{Ed002's Note - It is not an exclusive list.}

Angelo Henriquez has joined Dinamo Zagreb on loan with the option to buy him when the loan ends.

Gutted if true. He looked very good at times last season.

Never seen him play, another Fergie buy that failed to live up to the hype, or just never used like, Rossi, Pique, Bebe, Diouf & many more.

Anyone know if the rumour he shares the same agent as vidal and that's why he's here?
Agree0

They do share the same agent.

Apparently Will Keane is also available for transfer along with Fellaini, Hernandez, Nani and Anderson - although some reports suggest that LVG will offer Fellaini and Hernandez plus cash for Vidal.

Rumours of Zaha to Nottingham Forest on a loan.

Newcastle will be a better move for him IMO.

Have been denied by Nottingham Forrest themselves

I would doubt he'd go there as it would be a waste. He would be better going to a mid table or a promoted team in the premiership. He needs premiership experience nothing less
Agree1
Disagree0
He needs to go to a fairly competitive ambitious club, he needs to be worked hard otherwise I can't see him improving.

Reports in Italy suggest a bid to be made for vidal "within hours" hope so and hope this whole saga gets put to bed quickly

The same reports also say we are yet to bid for Vidal, when we know that we already have, so doesn't sound reliable to me mate.

Syd,
Can I ask you how you know we have bid? There has been so many stories about Vidal i'm not sure what to believe. I guess all we can do is hope . Cheers .
Agree0

Nobody knows if there's been a bid outside of the club I think that is very clear
Agree0

The editor confirmed that we bid via a 3rd party representing MU.

Whatever happens it's all getting rather tedious now

Dusty, what's clear is you cannot be told.
Agree0

Syd, why exactly just I take your word as gospel? I hope you're right but you don't know 100% that a bid has gone in

Another transfer window and another complete farce, would be better off hiring one of those mugs from the tv show the apprentice to conduct our transfer business as they couldn't be worse than woodward. How did we get to a week 6 days before the start of the season with this current squad. Apart from shaw and herrera we are pretty much in a worse state than last year with no CB of any calibre and we are looking to play 3 of them that shipped goals for fun last term. Really struggling to understand how amateur the club is when it comes to transfers. Woodwood looks a complete tool whenever he goes on the record. We can blow the budget money is no option but wouldn't stump up money for Vermaelen. LVG goes on about class wide men and yet didn't get sanchez or di maria. Basically relying on a decent manager again to drag a poor side above their station.

Sydney how do you know a bid has been made? Maybe I missed Ed002 saying it has. But I just recall him saying it was imminent!

{Ed002's Note - I explained what happened - go read up.}

Dusty, how many times, the editor confirmed a bid for Vidal a short time ago via a 3rd party representing the club. Use the search function and type "Ed002",
Use the browser page search by holding down control/command button + F, type Vidal in the search box that appears and read highlighted posts with Vidal in them.

So what happened to the third bid was it rejected, do they want more, is vidals leg going to fall off was it the same 3rd party that turned up in spain last year, was it for half the value of the player, has it been accepted but we are waiting until vidal is fit.
any info from anyone would be great

Ed. I understand you are travelling this week so no problem if your too busy. I read through the posts regarding Di Maria and understand United are interested but as yet haven't bid. Since you posted that info, has the situation changed? In your opinion, do you expect a bid, and do you think Di Maria would be interested in the move without CL football?.this transfer is one that interests me with the Argentina link
Safe travels
Steve
