People say Pep Guardiola don't have a plan B which may be true but United don't have plan A at the moment.
Very painful to see United play under LVG and JM. Very predictable.
DDG and Sanchez are quality no doubt about that. Other 9 players are no where near good enough in starting 11 for United if United need to be among the Barca, real, bayern level.
Pogba is not interested in football. I think Pogba needs same salary as Sanchez.
The way Pogba played today may prove Sir Alex selling him is not a mistake and bringing him back again is the mistake.
Lingard, Smalling, Jones please leave United.
Matic, Valencia and Young can be very good subs
90M wasted on lukaku could have bought worldclass LB, RB for that amount and play Martial as striker.

SAF didn’t choose to sell Pogba - his contract was mismanaged and he was able to walk away. Fergie fought to convince him to stay but he wanted first team football, which was not possible given the players Utd had ahead of him then.

Agree that DDG and Sanchez are our stand out players. Disagree that they’re the only two with quality. Frustrating to see Pogba and Martial used in positions they’re not equipped to play in. Would love to see Sanchez on right and Martial on left. With Valencia’s ability to overlap Sanchez could have plenty of freedom to drift inside which is what Mata has been doing for the last 18 months anyway. Matic is a top DM and should allow Pogba to play with freedom in a midfield 3. Surely one of Herrera, Fellaini, Carrick or McTominay could play the other position in that midfield. Lukaku is able to hold up the ball and if used properly could be fantastic at unleashing Martial, Sanchez and Pogba in attack as well as scoring plenty himself inside the box.
In defence as well as having the best GK in the world, we’ve got two good full backs in Shaw and Valencia. TFM could be a good back up for RB from next season and allow a gradual transition into first team. Bailey is immense and we’ve really missed him. Once fit we need a top quality, consistent partner for him.
Overall I think we’re only a CB and CM short of a great team provided we play a midfield 3 and use the attacking players we have wisely. A second CM to replace Carrick in the squad is also needed and with young guys like Tuanzebe and Perreira I think we have a balanced, young and exciting team. Smalling and Jones are abysmal and it looks like Fellaini and Darmian want out. If those four left along with Carrixk and Zlatan moving on and we bring in a CB and one or two CMs while promoting TFM, Tuanzebe and Perreira I’d be happy. No need to panic, it’s not a huge overhaul, just a bit of quality to allow us play a system that would get the best out of what we have.

For 95 million pogba should be able play in goal never mind midfield. The guy is a clown and only plays well when united are 2 or 3 goals up. And joses negative football was never going to satisfy the united fans. He plays to spoil the oppositions strenghts rather than concentrating on the talent he has at his disposal.

Kev I think we are short of a top right back Tony V is good but not great. Our centre backs at the moment are nowhere near the quality of a Rio or Stam or Vidic and that's the level we have to get to. Up front we are blessed with talent but Sanchez played best cutting in from the left when he was at Arsenal. I'm midfield it's important to realise that we still have no Scholes replacement. Barcelona have Iniesta and City have DE Bryne and Silva. Without a conductor the team will not perform to its best as a whole. Because we lack that defensive solidity and midfield platform we cannot move forward like we should. Sanchez needs to roam free and I do think that Martial Lukaku and Rashford need to be selected according to the opposition we face. The other thing is that we still lack real leaders to drive the team on when needed. That apart it does bother me big time that Jose can't seem to rouse the players. today they looked flat. when Fergie was around they may have lost but lost with more passion.

I know we have lost a couple of games but your all being a bit harsh. "Only 2 decent players" I think we have some good players and yeah maybe we should have won on Sunday on paper but this is football, you win some you lose some. Just because we lose doesn't mean replace 9 of the players who wasn't quite at the races.
