Better than the home kit?

Sydney!

Believable13 Unbelievable3

Why deosnt anyone wanna join us ffs its annoying now

Agree0 Disagree0

I like the home kit! Not sure if it's because I'm pro everything United...this away kit however is stunning!...I saw a leak of same shirt couple of weeks back

Steve the red

Agree0 Disagree0

Im pretty sure I saw that the third is blue checkered, but ive seen that white one on a few sites.

Daniel

Agree0 Disagree0

It looks better than the home kit(which I didn't like at first but its growing on me). The only problem is white is our unlucky colour. Lol.

Shappy

Agree0 Disagree0

And now we can either go to a picnic or a chinese restaurant...

Seriously?!

MikonBR

Agree0 Disagree0

I like it, ill b getting that instead ov the home kit

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice looking shirt. I think the home one's ok too, although nothing special.

Agree0 Disagree0

If this will be the new awaykit, I would be very happy. I really like it. Only problem is that Rooney looks terrible in white :)

Steffen

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are the shorts grey?

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to say it's an improvement on the Home kit. I don't know many who like the home kit at all. It's not great but if i was to buy one this season it'd definitely be the Away kit.

:( sad news
= Moutinho is Refusing to sign for United and meet the Sir Alex . is undestood he has already meet AVB , But wont meet Fergie Source toldthis morning. He wont sign for United he wants Spurs move rather strange . United and Porto have agreed a deal of 25 million also Spurs have ; but Moutinho Refusing to sign for United and meet Fergie bcos he wants Spurs move . United will now look at other target were being luas is now a number target as Baines deal is all but done.

Sherbaj(dubai)

Believable10 Unbelievable15

This would be hugely dissapointing if true. But he has worked with AVB before and has a good relationship with him. Also most players would rather live in London than Manchester. We could offer better wages and a better chance of winning things. Maybe he has asperations to play in Spain and feels the move would be easier from Spurs than United. Either way if we do.miss out on him then I am sure we'll have more.success than he does. Players come and go but Manchester United is eternal.

Shappy

Agree0 Disagree0

Nonsense, if it is a straight choice between clubs and the financial deal on the table is the same he will sign for us. If he signs for Spurs it is because of financial reasons or our lack of concrete interest

Enigma

Agree0 Disagree0

There was no £25m bid agreed by Porto from United. United have an interest, but Mods remains the target.

Drove past Kagawa in Manchester this morning and he had 4 police men protecting him from a mob of Japanese fans, photographers and TV crews.

Think he is going to bring a pretty big fan base along with bags of talent in to Man Utd.

The debt will be cleared in no time ;)

fearny {Ed007's Note - When Nakamura was at Celtic it was crazy Fearny. Any time you went to CP, even just to pick up tickets there was a crowd of Japanese tourists weighed down with bags of merchandise from the superstore. I read somewhere that it was estimated over 90% of Japanese tourists to Scotland either visited CP or attended a match there while Naka was playing up here.}

Just like a user from this site said, São Paulo's director of football João Paulo de Jesus Lopes said that the offer made by Inter Milan was "ridiculous".
IF, there's any chance of him signing for a team in Europe, than Manchester United is THE top contender, because it's the only one really interested.

There has been a lot of debate today about Kiko after his comments about looking forward to next year which will likely be a pivotal season in his career. This does not mean that Kiko will be here next season. A few weeks back, early June I think, Park said he was looking forward to the tour and next season. As you all know Park has been sold. It just shows that just because a player wants to stay and is looking forward to the next season doesn't mean that they will be allowed to stay. There is every chance that Kiko will not be here next season, despite his comments.

RedDevil19

After all these rumours involving moutinho, modric, Lucas and van Persie, I believe that none of them will sign and sir Alex will wrap up a shock signing at the end of the transfer window what no one will be expecting.

Well with the news from my sources, I have had a bad day in terms of supporting Man Utd.

The first bit of news is not from my sources but just came through to me is that Lucas Moura will turn down Man Utd in favour of Inter Milan suggests all the reports out in Brazil at the moment.

The next pair of news comes from Portugal. With no offers in for Witsel as Benfica have said he will go on pre-season tour with them. As united went cold on the situation.

The next is Moutinho and he will be off to Spurs as I have been informed that he had no intention of speaking to us once Spurs put an offer on the table. We were just standby just in case Spurs went somewhere else.

Finally Baines to be unveiled along with Kagawa and Powell to the media officially before Utd go out on tour next monday.

fearny

Believable14 Unbelievable14

Im starting to think there will be no cm signed, i know its only early days but if modric goes to madrid i think saf's stubbornness will see us stick with what we have. tom17

Agree0 Disagree0

Spurs were the only club that went in for him. We have an interest, but never bid for him, we are still trying to sign Modric.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

What sources do you have? Im Brazillian, living in Rio and the word is that Inter are not budging above E18m. So United have started with £20m and will increase it....so just wait a day or two! {Ed007's Note - I've got a source that can trace your IP.......The nearest you are to a Brazilian is a click of your mouse to those mucky sites.}

Agree0 Disagree0

As much as I don't want to agree with this post, I do. I never really considered us having a chance at getting Lucas Moura. Witsel doesn't seem right somehow and Moutinho's link with AVB is hard to get around. Even if we sign just Baines, Kagawa and Powell, we will have had a good summer, but we really do need that central midfield player. Cabaye will be expensive like all Cab's, Witsel and Fellaini don't interest me, Dembele is average.

We may seriously be looking at giving Anderson and Cleverly more chances as well as Tunnicliffe and perhaps Petrucci. Modric is clearly the one we are after, we seem to be backing out of moves for everyone apart from him. We may go back in for Kovacic, or Thaigo Alcantara...impossible to call at this time.

RedDevil19

Agree0 Disagree0

We need a DM/CM and if we do not sign one then we will be in the same situation as last year.

Manchester United have confirmed the signings of teenagers Sean Goss and Joel Castro Pereira.

16-year-old Goss, born in Germany, is a midfielder who arrives from Exeter City.

Goss impressed during a trial stint last season with the club where helped their youth side to the Aegon Future Cup final in Amsterdam.

Swiss goalkeeper Pereira also arrives after being on trial with the Old Trafford club.

Pereira comes in from Neuchatel Xamax.

If we do sign Lucas moura I am looking forward to the spin the glazer haters put on it to make it a negative. I have no idea if it is genuine but it would appear we have 25 million plus to spend on a top player after the hazard bid, so it could make sense. Fingers crossed.

GDS

Believable19 Unbelievable15

We have already been priced out of a move for Rodriguez so considering Lucas is of a similar valuation as Rodriguez I wouldn't hold your breath. Then again if a £30m+ bid came in for Nani from PSG or Anzhi then perhaps something might happen with a player like this.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

It won't happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

I guess we'll wait and see.

Its all well and good leaking info to suggest we are in for players that will cost in excess of £30M if the Glazers know the deal will never happen.

Its very conveniant to blame it on the player for choosing another team.

Honestly, how hard were we in for Hazard? Not hard enough if he chose to wait to see if Chelsea won the CL final before making a decision...

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldnt bother waiting to long as moura won't happen

Dustbin

Agree0 Disagree0

Cannot not see us spending 30 mill on an unproven pre league player especially when we wernt prepared to spend less than that for quality midfielders over the past 2 years.if you want to put a negative spin on the glasers have a look at todays rumours danny welbeck not happy whats been offered, also finnancial anylists crying foul that the glasers have asked for special dispensation with the ipo to submitt the previous years finnancial results instead of the current ones which will show a poorer performance off the pitch.the glasers spokesman has said because there registered in the cayman isles there laws are different to other countrys and allow for this.also yesterday in the guardian it mentioned that one of the glaser brothers bought a chunk of utd,s debt and the club had to pay him,is that spinning enough for you
johndenton

Agree0 Disagree0

If we did sign a player like Moura or Hazard then we would be looking to sell Nani. If we were looking to buy a top class midfield player it would be different.

Regardless nothing has convinced me that Moura is anything but lazy journalism. But keep the faith GDS. Don't stop beeeelivinnn.

Danny Pughnited

Agree0 Disagree0

I actually think the Glazers are going to improve the club a lot in the long run, but that doesn't change anything.

Moura would be great, but if we are going to spend that sort of money, we should be spending it on a central midfielder, not Moura.

We should not be happy just because money is spent. If we don't get platyers we Desperately need, spending money on players we don't really NEED, doesn't help much.

Thorne

Agree0 Disagree0

Tend to agree, it was reported that Modric was apparently Fergies no.1 choice, if they weren't prepared to go to asking price on that, which we seem to think would be the 35 million mark, would he go for Moura, who realistically, would prob command a similar figure, love to be wrong but I don't see it happening either. We seem to be in a situation at min whereby Utds valuation and the selling clubs are too far apart, , something has to give sooner or later or again we'll be looking at paying 15-20 million for someone and hoping to develop them instead, all very well but now and again you need to add the finished product.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's not going to happen. How many players have we been linked to in the past. The same excuse will come out that no value in the transfer market yet we spend 7mil on bebe who was homeless not long before. Until the glaziers sell we will not be able to compete with the top clubs

Agree0 Disagree0

We are not spending big on anyone hazard moutinho modric lucas are all just the next in a line of villa benzema ozil. players that we know we wont be able to get that we go for anyway to make it look like we have money. or even worse players that we cant get because we cant compete with other teams financially.

i will put my house on it that we get baines at most and then in september you will hear these words out of fergie mouth " we tried to get a few players in but unfortunately it didnt work out " or " no value in the market" so the glazers can carry on keeping us alongside the massive clubs of Fulham and stoke for net spend

Ralph

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone who thinks we can compete for players above the £25M bracket is either deluding themselves or seriously misinformed. The club doesn't have the resources to pay these prices for players and couldn't add another top earner to the payroll. The Glazers took £10M out of the club as a dividend in April, that's on top of the almost £40M interest bill for this year. Who in their right mind thinks that we can then go and pay £30M plus for one player......especially as we've already committed nearly £20M on Kagawa & Powell already.
Seriously, get the facts straight and then you won't be too disappointed when it doesn't happen.

RedMonkey

Agree0 Disagree0

As I said yesterday - this is complete fiction. Moura is not coming. It's made up. It's rubbish. Please can we move on and ignore only lonely journo.

GEG

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it is probably all made up, but I enjoy us being linked to the top players. It isn't like the Glazers haven't spent big on players before though.

John, not sure who the glasers are.

GDS

Agree0 Disagree0

GDS,
You make it sound like just because the club might spend £25 million on a player that means the Glazer's are great owners! They plunged are club into £800 millions of debt! I think anyone that spends their own hard earned cash on season tickets or TV subscriptions or any other money they spend on Manchester United should have every right to vent their anger at the owners, even if they spend 100 million this window i will still be angry that most of the fans money is being spent to service the debt that they placed us in!

Andy B

Agree0 Disagree0

Glazers haters? The Glazers are going to be good for the club?

I've heard it all now - so many muppets. If you had any brains at all, you'd know the Glazers have only been bad for Manchester United. Every single die-hard United fan should hate the Glazers and David Gill.

They've just taken and taken and it's only due to Fergie's resourceful thinking, good luck and Ronaldo's amazing final years at United that we've been successful in the time the Glazers have been in control.

Anyway, back to this discussion - I'd love to see this guy come but can only see it if we fund it by selling Nani or a collection of squad players.

PrideOfManchester

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry guys but i just don't see us signing Lucas Moura.
I think the only signing will be Baines from here on.
Already looking forward to seeing Ryan Gigs bossing the center of the park!
(Thats sarcastic by the way)

Simmo

Agree0 Disagree0

Monkey, what about £26m, will we buy a player for that or is £25m the cut-off point? £10m did not leave the club in April. £10m left the club in 2008 though.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

And the empire starts to crumble...... thanks glazers....!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

The bigwigs will be linking us with every player on the planet until all the season tickets are sold then we'll be linked with the players of baines quality, the rubbish we usually buy

Agree0 Disagree0

Just a point a dividend of 10m was paid out in April 2012 to the glazers it was in the application to the NYSE released last week.

Ralph

Agree0 Disagree0

It's time to face facts.... Kagawa is our marquee signing! The only other signings possible are young players for the future.
There will be no Modric, Van Persie, Moura etc, not even Baines!
The Glazers have turned us into arsenal, buy low and sell high.
There is no player the Glazers wouldn't sanction the sale of and Sir Alex is the sole reason Rooney stayed.......For now!
Sir Alex and his scouting team have been working tirelessly to get the best young talent in to secure the future of the club and yet our two best young players have been allowed to skip through the net as they weren't tied down to long term deals after the FAX youth cup win!
I'm gutted to say things are looking bleak.

Agree0 Disagree0

United are not going to sign Lucas Moura, we have already signed 2 attacking CM this transfer window, Fergie has said a possibility of 2 more signings, which will be a full back, and a holding midfielder, possibly Moutinho, but my feelings are that only a full back and holding midfielder are needed, we have macheda back for strikers, im sure he'll have a good season if he's played which he needs as he's only 20, so gaining experience is vital at his age.

Agree0 Disagree0

I was reading on the ag blog that the galzers take a 10 mill administration fee each year
jred

Agree0 Disagree0

Every year we are told that we should expect an exciting summer of transfers. This is followed by a lot of press noise about the very top players coming to united only to be followed by the regular excuses.

Don't you find it strange that we are always linked with the highest profile players but never bid enough to get them. United play out this scenario every year.

Agree0 Disagree0

No name

We are already linked with Baines.

My original post was just tongue in cheek but it appears I managed to get most people's goat.

I called them 'Glazer haters' because there are some people who won't slag the Glazers off for every little thing. You can't say its the Glazers fault we don't sign players then when we sign somebody like Berbatov or Kagawa then say it is nothing to do with them.

Cheer up everybody, the season is nearly upon us :)

GDS

Agree0 Disagree0

Ralph, like I said £10m did not leave the club in April, but it did leave the club in 2008.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Transfer market only been open 11days boys, 6/7 weeks left just be patient, we have spent 20 mil allready,Fergie will deliver us a cm player who he feels will suit utd. Until you hear it from the horses mouth take it with a pinch of salt who we are linked with, just cheap press. Although I did say and still do think witsel & baines will be united players.
PSY
PSY

Agree0 Disagree0

Glazer Haters would be only too please to sign this player....but no amount of window dressing can hide the fact that 100's of millions have gone out of the club since the Yanks took over and any success we have had is inspite of them not due to them. SAF has done a fantastic job.

Agree0 Disagree0

Stop repeating yourself sydney when you are clearly wrong.even your favourite Andersred said that they took 10m out as a dividend in april. and i have read the whole application and have seen it with my own eyes.

Unless you are saying that the application( a legally binding document) is wrong and you are right.
ralph

Agree0 Disagree0

Ralph, not at all, Andersred and 'application' is correct. The Glazers DID take a dividend of £10m, but the money never left the club. The dividends were taken to settle the £10m loan they took out in 2008. Therefore the £10m has NOT left the club. Just like I have been saying.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Now I know people will find this a little irritating, however, do people not think that it's in the Glazers interests to keep us successful? Which they have done. The fact that they've significantly increased the value of our club (by the amount the debt is for) is pretty good too.

I for one would rather we signed good young talent, rather than mercenaries anyway, in defence of their transfer policy. It is annoying about not tying youth players down but that certainly isn't the Glazers fault as far as I can see.

I'm a fan and I would probably take a dividend out, they probably should take a dividend out, it's their company, why would you run a company and not take anything from it?

These debts are going to be paid off (pretty quickly as well considering how they're doing it) and then we're left with owners that do no meddling, we'll have the biggest sports club in the world (by a significant margin) and no significant problems at a point when FIFA regulations prevent us spending more than we earn, which will be significantly more than any other club.

They aren't stupid these Glazers, they're just running it like a business, and they rape and pilage to make their businesses successful.

So although its not ideal, there are worse owners, there are 'Glazer haters', and people should stop being bothered about Ronaldinho

Agree0 Disagree0

The glazers are vampires and have not emotional attachment to the club. They are opportunistic b...at..ds who during the hay days of 2007 and 2008 where you could leverage 9 times bought the club. they will sell it the minute they can get a nice profit. I wish we had someone like Abrahamovic who actually gives a damn.

It used to be we had a biggest stick in the transfer market and when we wanted we would beat the competition. The reality now is that we have limited funds and will never get Falcao or Moura. it's all the press and agents making up stuff.

Agree0 Disagree0

No name, the problem is they have taken out much more in interest, management/admin fees, refinancing costs, bond buybacks etc than they would have taken out in dividends. If they had bought us with their own funds and simply taken dividends then no one would have had an issue with them.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

GDS, how bout we sign someone first. Only a Glazer family member would be this deluded. What happens if we don't sign a big player? Will you publicly admit that the loss in last years PL and CL were because they didn't spend enough last summer? -KG

Agree0 Disagree0

KG,

I will publicly admit that now if you want? I have said along we needed a midfielder for about the last 2 years, but we signed a winger and a defender, cost a fortune, we signed players in the wrong positions as far as I'm concerned.

As I said further up if you can read my comment was tongue in cheek, I don't like the glazers, not sure how many times I have to say that before people realise, I just enjoy supporting my club and don't let myself get down over something I have no control over.

Can't wait for the new season.

GDS

Agree0 Disagree0

You miss understand GDS, KG. He doesn't care if we sign any players cause he'll follow United no matter what, cause he's a real fan. In GDS's mind we should all just sit back and enjoy the football and hope that the Glazers start pumping money into the club, but if they don't there's nothing we can do anyway so it's all good.

Secondly what actually are our chances of bringing in Lucas Moura

19JackC94 {Ed002's Note - Manchester United have been looking at Kevin Strootman who has previously been watched by Liverpool but I would be surprised if PSV would look to sell just yet. I would expect plenty of interest if he does become available - not least from AC Milan and Valencia.

Lucas seems to be getting closer

His father, who is also his agent, has had a meeting with Inter Milan about a possible transfer, although Sao Paulo director of football Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes has poked fun at the Italian club's interest.

"How can you pay 25 million (£20 million) for a player of Lucas's quality?" Jesus Lopes is quoted as saying in the Daily Mail. "There is no (formal) offer and, even if it were to appear, this amount is ridiculous.

"Italian football is broke - the club (Inter) are broke. It seems they are creating this to satisfy the fans."

Believable11 Unbelievable11

ED2 you said his agents were somewere else this proves they wernt and our man u delegation flies to see him. {Ed002's Note - What I explained was that Moura's agent spent a few days in Colorado - including this weekend just gone. If Manchester United sent a delegation to Brazil they would not have found him there.}

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no chance he'll be joining us this season at all

Dustbin

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually this information is correct. João Paulo de Jesus Lopes, São Paulo FC's director of football said that.
Inter Milan offered only 15 million euros... which was pretty stupid. This director truly said that Inter Milan is just doing it for the fans, but in no way that was a serious bid.
Other than that, I truly believe that a 30 milion pounds would be considered serious, as the player is actually the one and only gifted player of the São Paulo's squad.
