Ed002, just been looking though the posts regarding Koke. Now that Barcelona have gotten Rakitic, where does that leave Koke? I assume Atletico will be keen to hold on to him (you had suggested, I think, that if they lost him, they would have an interest in Rakitic). Is there any news on his situation? Especially regarding interest from Manchester United. Cheers.

Cheers ed, shame really. he's a top player with great energy. I saw you posts regarding RM and Khedira, he was a a target for Manchester United when Moyes took over, surely he must be a target now if he is available?

I'm simply going on the rumor there was a bid mid on the final day of last years transfer window. I'll put it a different when then, are you aware of interest now? I'm simply asking as he's a very accomplished player in a position we need to fill.

RedRosie if you had of read the posts properly you'll see I was asking about Koke in my first post and about Sami Khedira in my second. I didn't feel the need to start a separate thread for this. What part of asking about two different players is complicated to you? What a completely pointless and immature reply.

I missed that, my mistake I apologise. I get irrationally irritated by all the repeated questions on here (of which there are many) it seems I'm far too eager to jump down throats. Sorry Mate!

Khedira would be a disaster for us, he does nothing. Worse version of Gareth Barry. Just benefited from all the hype around Germany's youngsters a while ago. He stagnated after that period.

Hello Everybody,

There are talks of Van Gaal's interest in Sanchez and that Barcelona may stall any move for Sanchez till the end of the world cup. Does anybody know if any of this may be true. I would personally love to have Sanchez in the squad. Quality player.

If memory serves me right, we bid for Alexis Sanchez before he moved to Barca, and he went there because Pep Guardiola contacted him personally and convinced him to move. So maybe if we want him, we should go for the softy softy approach and massage his ego.
