Wasn't saying that's what I thought would happen with the transfers. . just what I thought should. I don't rate Evans and I would sell him - I know Fergie won't. There's still too many players in your squad - we should be aiming to use 25, not 30.
Martinez is a quality player, but I think Screech is very under-rated and just as good and will likely be cheaper - there will be a bidding war for the former and he might end up out of our grasp anyway.
Isla - have to plead ignorance, having never seen him play.
Neuer - with Neuer, Akinfeev, Lloris and de Gea, you pays your money and takes your choice. de Gea is too young. Akinfeev's my favourite of the other 3, but I wouldn't argue with either of the others.
As to leaving us without defenders - I believe I left us with Rafael / Evra / Fabio / O'Shea or de Laet / Ferdinand / Vidic / Smalling with Hargreaves (for me) being deployed at right back. Might be 1 light but we shouldn't be padding out just because we've had injury nightmares the last 2 seasons in defence - we should be finding out why we've had those injury problems. For me, more or less the same back 4 should play every game.
Hey - at least we agreed on Bale. It'd be nice to upset all the Spurs fans again. .

@First of all United's debt is £521.7m and has only risen 800k in one year so if you seriously think its going to rise to over 380m in the next two seasons then you are a clown. Also its not Cr@p that there is 165m liquid cash in the bank, the finances show there is 165m in the bank. The documents are not fake, they are the same documents United have to show the Premier League.
