I don't really rate this striker highly. I have no idea if he will be good enough in the Premier League either... :/

Any one see him against Scotland? Really good when he came on, just remember one brilliant ball he fizzed across the box, reminded me of evra in his prime.....sadly, he's definitely way past it, just hasn't performed in maybe 2 years consistently.....Alba would be one the best options definitely, or maybe SAF likes Izaguirre

Just read rumours about Man United going after Brek Shea.
Is he any good ED?
MUMBAI_BOY {Ed002's Note - He is the pretty boy of American soccer. I would not have throught him good enough for the upper end of the EPL.}

He's 6'5 and lightening fast. High work ethic and very technical for an American. Lots of potential but wouldn't get any time on the pitch for the red.

Living in Dallas and having watched him play i could tell you right now that he would add nothing to our reserve team let alone our 1st team

From his hometown, would have similar impact as Obertan

Real Madrid are ready to bid £30m for Manchester United's Mexican striker Javier Hernandez.
Full story: the Sun
sorry about the copy n paste but was just wondering what you guys thought about this?

I do believe this however I don't believe Hernandez will push for this. Didn't he come out last season and says he wants to repay Sir Alex and United for giving him his chance?! I know this rarely means alot bit I reckon Hernandez is that type of player! If United decide to look into it then we should take Benzema and Ozil plus cash!

The only way I could ever see this happening is if Hernandez himself forced through the move and despite what most people say about ''all footballers being the same'' I do believe this lad is one of the few genuine ones out there. I love him to bits and would be sad to see him go for £50 or £60million in all honesty.

I for one believe Real Madrid's interest is purely speculation. Due to the amazing debut season he had, there may be interest but i highly doubt it. And IF, a big IF they did table a bid of 30mil it would be outta the door quicker than ross kemp when sh*t kicks off. I highly doubt we want to sell i also doubt that Chicharito would force the move. Like APC said, the fans here adore him he has the potential to become of the fans favourites of all time, and become a club legend. I think he is a humble guy who would not turn his back on the Club that brought him out of his slumber. I heard rumours that he was thinking of pursuing a degree in Business after not making such a big impression with Chivas Guadalajara.
My favourite player in the red jersey right now, and Chicharito 14 is the only print i'll have until his time is up (Retire/Leave) with united.

It's nothing more than lazy journalism at the highest level, the Sun hear that we are about to increase his wage from £25k a week to £75k a week and they assume it's because Real Madrid are ready to swoop. The truth is there is a clause in his contract that says if he reaches a certain amount of goals in his debut season, an improved contract will be offered. This is exactly what is happening now.

We love Chich, he loves us, we will win trophies Real will struggle (because of Barca)
I cant see him leaving any time soon

The media have made this rumour public before. He won't go because he is going to be offered a new 5 year contract that will see his money raise to £75,000 a week.
The only way I can see him going is if a player is involved in the deal... (Higuain or Benzema to be precise)
