Think if the interest from Anzhi about Vidic is true and they're willing to pay an outrageous amount, then SAF is not stupid he'd surely think about replacing him with Hummels who is probably the best young CB in the world at the moment.

Honestly, as good as Vidic is I would not mind if Hummels came in to replace him. I would love our defensive line to be like Dortmunds. High up the pitch and instantly ready to support the midfield they are a joy to watch. I even feel guilty/sad buying their players because they have such a good unit with great players they have developed themselves into title winners.

Can any of the eds or syd answer this? Do we have any interest in hummels or is it just dodgy rumours? Also I know we watch lewandoski but how likely would it be us to sign him? Cheers
